Take a turn down this driveway and leave the world behind. Drive along the trickling mountain stream down into the property which looks out over Hubbard Brook. The 3 story modern log “lodge” appears through the trees and the moss covered rocks greet you. Offering 4 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms for convenience on each level, you will want for nothing during your stay. The open concept living room has many delightful details and is the perfect gathering place after a day of snowboarding or skiing, relaxing on the lake, or hiking in the wilderness. The large open kitchen has every convenience and can easily accommodate the preparation of your gourmet meals, while the dining area is beautifully perched overlooking Hubbard Brook. The lower level family room offers a bar, sitting area, and walkout to the fire pit and hot tub overlooking the brook. After your first night's rest you’ll notice the great outdoors is just a few steps away; the house is surrounded by the White Mountain National Forest, and beautiful Mirror Lake is across the street. The set up of the cabin makes it as comfortable for two as it is for a group of family or friends. So, grab those flip flops, hiking boots or fishing poles and explore your surroundings, this is where memories are made.

This is the 2nd time staying here and we love the house by the brook. We were lucky to have a nice weekend because there is no air conditioning, but having all the windows open and listening to the brook makes it so relaxing.

We picked the perfect space for our trip to NH. House was beautiful… the windows, the space, the creek, fire pit, and the record player was all a huge hit with the family. We had 7 adults and plenty of space. Thank you for sharing your home. We made some beautiful memories. The area was perfect for atv riding, golf, gondola ride up the mountain with gorgeous views, moose tour, hiking and close to charming little towns.

The cabin is excellent for getting away from it all; everything is quiet, the river is beautiful, and it's perfect if you want to be alone for a few days. Everything is lovely, and everything is exactly where it needs to be.

Wonderful cabin in the snowy White Mountains! The perfect place to reconnect with grown children in a relaxed, comfortable environment. Great kitchen, eating area and spectacular views! Sleeping areas perfect for my family. Joyce could not have been a better host. I hope I’m able to make a visit to this cabin a new family tradition.
Such a wonderful surprise to have the cabin decorated for Christmas!

Cozy cabin

Our family really enjoyed Presidents Day weekend at this cozy spot! Warm and comfortable common areas, flexible layout for sleeping options, well-stocked kitchen, and beautiful views over the peaceful creek and forest.

The house is in a fantastic location, close to a number of the white mountain hikes and attractions. The home was immaculate when we arrived, and the host’s communication was excellent. Highly recommend.

Perfect Ski House!

We loved our stay at Joyce’s lovely Cabin. Our stay included family, and the house was equipped with everything needed to delight young kids and adults alike. We love to cook - kitchen was perfectly stocked! Kids were entertained by a great selection of toys and games. We would stay again!

Perfect location

Great log cabin on a beautiful, private property. The Hubbard Brook access was a bonus we thoroughly enjoyed. Surrounded by the White mountains, the home was perfectly situated for us to enjoy all the adventures the atea had to offer. Joyce was a gracious host, very quick to respond to any issue.Would love to return again!

Amazing log cabin

Joyce is a super host! So responsive and easy to communicate with. The cabin is set in the woods surrounded by beautiful tall trees and a babbling brook. The cabin is very clean, spacious, cozy and comfortable. We will definitely book again!

Very Secluded and Beautiful Grounds!

The cabin has everything you would want in a cabin experience including a beautiful outdoor property! Fire pit, wood, hot tub (although we never went in), and chairs overlooking the river created a peaceful "camp" experience. Joyce was fantastic with replying to any questions I had and also reached out to confirm we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely

This rental was a perfect fit for our group, which included an infant, two couples and 2 singles. Big but still cozy house in a storybook setting convenient to nearby restaurants and stores. Joyce was a wonderfully communicative host, and we appreciated the many thoughtful touches that indicate this house and place is well loved. Wonderful vacation!

Its not easy leaving this Gem

The views are priceless. A stream flowing thru the backyard, plenty of room so you can actually have privacy while others are in the cabin. Love the Log Cabin llook/feel. Thanks Again

The cabin is beautiful and so relaxing. We loved hearing the sound of the brook especially at night. The brook is a nice place to cool off, especially if Mirror lake is crowded. The landscape is very well thought out. There is no AC just as a fair warning. We didn't mind as long as the fans are moving and the windows are open it was fine. Definitely would go back again.

Incredible Immersion Experience

Words can't describe the experience we had with our family at this " Perfect Cabin". Plenty of space and privacy that we felt like we did not have to leave to relax. We went up with 8 family members and we all share laughs and smiles the whole week. We literally felt the stress leave when we arrived and enjoyed every second. Hope to be back next year!!!!

Ideal cabin setting to recharge and enjoy nature!

Joyce was an excellent host- she has truly thought of everything to ensure a great stay and was friendly and communicative. The property itself was perfect; a short walk to Mirror Lake, secluded for privacy, and nestled right on the river with a hot tub and fire pit. The cabin was comfortable and well-stocked with games and puzzles. We felt so at ease here and would love to come back sometime. Don't miss hiking Mount Washington and Franconia Notch State Park!

Another amazing trip!

This is our third stay with Joyce - we missed it last year! 6 adults and 1 small child fit into this house so well, lots of room for parking. The house is well-stocked for cooking shared meals, and there is a fantastic view at a table we used for games every night. Very convenient location, super close to Lincoln. The hot tub is a lovely touch, as is the firepit and walk out to the creek. No complaints - thank you for another lovely experience!

We had the best stay in Joyce’s home. Rare home rental experience where the photos, which are beautiful, don’t even do the home and property justice! Joyce was clear, communicative, and so helpful. The home is stunning, clean, with so many hang out spots inside. Our boys, ranging in age from 3-8, had a blast exploring the grounds, and playing with the toys in the basement hang out space. Plenty of sleeping options for our two families of 8 people. Highlights were hanging in the creek, adult hot tub time, enjoying the view with our morning coffees, s’mores over a campfire, and nearby hiking. We can’t wait to go back!

Paradise by the river

We stayed for four days and nights in late October, using the property as a base camp for hiking. We loved coming back and relaxing after the hike, sitting on the screen porch or outside with a fire and listening to the rushing river. The kitchen was very well equipped and the beds were comfortable, the setting was very peaceful...but it is also a short drive to Woodstock and Lincoln for restaurants and breweries. Joyce was very proactive with communication and information. I will definitely rent this place again if available!

Wonderful stay at this cabin. Perfect for our group or 4 adults and 4 preteen kids. Close to all sorts of attractions. We were here in winter, was close to snowmobiling, skiing and ice castles. Layout great, lots of space. Loft great for kids to have their own area so parents could relax! Outdoor areas covered in beautiful snow but plowed well. Very quiet, private and scenic. Kitchen spacious with plenty of cooking essentials, we did a fair amount of cooking since it was winter. Have stayed in many rentals over the years and this was one of the best equipped with small, thoughtful details appreciated. Lots of great games, record player, sandals to walk to hot tub, extra snow shovels, sleds, good kitchen pantry basics. Very clean. Communication with host Joyce was timely, informative and pleasant. If I had a complaint it would be the beds were pretty firm, but everyone’s preference is different! Would absolutely stay here again. Thanks for opening your home to us!

Winter Wonderland

Our stay included 5 adults, 1 teenager and a 16 month old toddler. The cabin was very roomy, much more than the pictures depict! Gorgeous home, Joyce has thought of everything. I was nervous to have my toddler inside for 5 days while the rest of the group went snowboarding.. but there were so many toys and games, the backyard was a beautiful snowy playground for my baby. Joyce was incredibly quick to respond to any questions - heed her warning and do not drive down the steep driveway with ice or snow unless 4WD. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
