So sorry to learn of your inability to check in on time. Informed by the cleaning crew now that the group that checked out that day refused to check out till around 2pm when we threaten to invite the police over before they could vacate the premises stating their company booked for extra days which was not true. The home as you pointed out was still being cleaned and disinfected to be made for you to be able to take up residence. Cleaning lady said she explained this to your group and apologized for the late entry. The towels were all placed in the bedrooms. Furthermore, there is a closet filled with extra towels in the adjoining closet by the blue room. All you need do was ask if you needed additional towels. This would have been pointed out to you. As far as the light is concerned, if you notice there was any issue with the light, you could have brought it to our attention.The bulbs would have been replaced immediately. Sorry about the light. As far as ants when you got there is concerned, we are not responsible for when people rent and made the home a mess. We do not clean up the home during the stay till after guests check out. During their stay, they should cleanup after themselves. As you pointed out, the cleaning crew were still cleaning by the time you arrived. It was left in a mint condition when you actually checked in. Once again sorry for the late check in.

So sorry that you were not completely satisfied with your stay at our home. As for the ants, here in Florida as with any other parts of the country, during heavy rains, sometimes ants do try to get in, the prudent thing to do would have been to contact the owner and the issue would have been addressed. As for communications, I believe people should tell the truth always ! You wanted your sister to bring a dog with her at the last minute when on the booking site, it clearly stated NO PETS, hence not sure where poor communication came in. As you noted when you checked into our home "Hey. We just arrived. The house is beautiful and it doesn’t have that weird -------- smell. It smells like home." We appreciate honest comments.

We appreciate your stay at our Home. Not sure how to respond to paranoia? We even called out Terminix to evaluate the concern voiced of someone walking in the attic.. which turned out to be false. As for the cleanness of the home, will allow prior occupants review speak attest to this. I personally stopped by, I was NOT informed the home had issues with cleanness just that someone was hiding in the attic ! How does someone hide in an attic and the temperature is very high as stated here? Is the person from another planet? When writing a review, you should attest to what you actually witness and not go and review someone elses statement before you write yours. Reviews should be done before making a reservation! Tell the truth when writing review.

Thanks for your stay at our home. a) If you are resident in Florida, there will be wildlife. There is NONE inside the home nor was there a hole in the home nor in the wall of the home. The yard was also well kept. Part of the price we pay for our Florida sunshine is to share with it with wild life !!! b) We never promised a bike. Had you contacted the host, a bike rental company would have been suggested for you. c) As for wine glasses ~ there is a large cupboard in the dinning area with all the wine glasses you want. Only thing that needed to be done was contact the host to find out if you had not been able to locate it. d) We do not provide bar soap.. liquid soap was provided in all of the bathrooms including shampoo for hair. If you wanted to use bar soap, you would have been advised to purchase yours. e) Not sure what a mixer is.. but if it is a blender, a blender was provided. Likewise can opener was there, only needed to call the host if you were unable to find it. f) Not sure about the floor, likely whatever you poured on the floor made it dirty. The cleaning crew mops the floor following each guest. Stay safe during this pandemic. God bless.

So sorry you were not completely satisfied with your stay at our home. It would have been nice to alert the home owner upon checking in with regards to non functioning lights which would have been immediately remedied. As for master bedroom bed, you're the only one to have complained it is not soft enough!!! Not sure what is expected when you commented that all the other beds were really quite comfortable. They are all the same mattress.
