East Sandwich Beach is the perfect place for swimming, fishing, site seeing or just relaxing with family and friends. Contact Jeanine for details. Book your vacation now!

Our spacious, open-concept kitchen/living room, 2-bedroom, 1-bath cottage is located on North Shore Boulevard, East Sandwich Beach. Escape from the city and stay in our cottage, which accommodates four guests comfortably.

Our cottage is just 100 steps away from our Private Beach. Off-street parking is located next to our cottage. (Please view our photos for cottage and parking locations).

Your cottage will be expertly cleaned prior to your arrival. Bedspreads, mattress pads, pillow tickings, blankets and quilts are freshly washed and line-dried for all guests. (Please note: If you would like sets of sheets and bath towels, we can provide them for a minimal fee). A laundromat is located in Sandwich for your convenience.

We have a large courtyard of sand right outside our door, which is great for kids and/or playing volleyball. (In accordance with our rental agreement, only those listed on the agreement are able to use this courtyard.) During the warm weather, you can relax on our beautiful private beach, take a swim in the pristine water or play on the sandbar. At night, you can enjoy long walks, watch the amazing sunsets from the water's edge (bring your camera) and gather around a bonfire and toast marshmallows.

There is great fishing right down the street from Surfside Cottages at Scorton Creek. Fish for striped bass and spotted sea trout. Idyllic Scorton Creek is a five-minute walk from Surfside Cottages. It's also a great spot for kayaking. So peaceful and tranquil.

We're just 1 hour's drive from Boston and 7 miles from the Sagamore Bridge.

Visit the Town of Sandwich and experience its old-world charm. Enjoy antiquing or pick up farm-fresh vegetables grown right in the Town of Sandwich. If you love golf, take a short drive to Hyannis and you can play 18 holes. We provide many brochures for other activities on the Cape.

We have always prided ourselves in providing our guests with a clean and welcoming cottage. Our three-women cleaning crew has always used and will continue to use Clorox/Lysol Wipes, bleach, disinfectant, rubber gloves and other miscellaneous all-purpose cleaners. As mentioned above, our linens are always cleaned and changed with the arrival of new guests.

We have always provided Clorox/Lysol Wipes, bathroom cleaner, toilet tissue and soap for our guests and will continue to do so. With that being said, it has always been our practice at Surfside to provide our guests with a well-cleaned cottage upon their arrival. Thank you for visiting our page and we hope to see you soon.

A wonderfully cared-for cottage and a fantastic experience! Jeanine was responsive and thoughtful, and we felt so well cared for during our stay. The cottage is exactly as described on the sire and as seen in the pictures. It is not the newest or most modern beach house, but that doesn't matter. The care that Jeanine puts into the place really shows. An easy walk over the dunes to an amazing beach that was never too crowded, and that offered both sunrise AND sunset delights. Our group of 4 had a fantastic time there, and would definitely return!

Beautiful week

Very clean cottage, close to beach, owner checked in with us when we arrived. Very pleasant. My only problem was that in order to reach the beach, you had to walk over a very large sand dune, and the older members of our group found it difficult.. Thank you Janine for a comfortable and cozy cottage!

Great hideout

Jeanine answered emails instantly. We were chuffed about the welcome presents. Surfside cottages are a grest place to spend ones holidays on Cape Cod.

First visit to Cape Cod

The property was great! I have very high standards of cleanliness and I was completely satisfied with the condition of the cottage. Jeanine was very friendly and quickly responded to our requests. At the meeting, we were expecting very nice souvenirs from the hostess and it was so cute. The cottage is located very close to a private beach: it was so nice to walk along the sandbank in the morning. It was our first visit to Cape Cod for our family and we are glad that it was so lucky)!

Perfect place to stay if you love the beach

The property is exactly as advertised.. Just a few steps and you're on the beautiful private beach. You can even leave your stuff out there overnight . We are very familiar with cottages like this and so we are prepared prepared however I just would tell everybody if you plan on doing cooking or barbecue and you should bring a lot of your own utensils and supplies. We will be back.

A wonderful week at East Sandwich Beach

We spent a very pleasant week at East Sandwich Beach. The cottage is just steps away from the most wonderful stretch of this beach . We enjoyed the sandbar at low tide and being able to walk the beach for miles. The cottage was immaculate and even better than shown in the pictures. Jeanine was the perfect host, very easy to communicate with and goes the extra mile to ensure that her guests have an enjoyable stay. Thanks for the wonderful week!

Family Vacation

Nice little cottage with everything you’d need

Property was clean and as pictured. The host made sure we had all the little things you could need for a week at the beach house, like a grill, beach chairs, and a full complement of utensils and such. The living area is spacious. The bedrooms are adequate. The beach is one house away and is quite private and very lovely. The whole area is beautiful. A few things to be aware of: It did get pretty warm the week we were there, and the fans (provided) did not always get the job done at night. Also, the beach is mostly rocky rather than sandy. I will say that the rocks are beautiful, and during low tide the sand bars come out and are a lot of fun to walk on. There was also a sand pit nearby for the little ones to play in. The bathroom doesn’t have any windows or ventilation, which means you’ll have to hang your towels outside. Not complaining about any of that, just letting you know so you can set your expectations accordingly. A nice place to enjoy the Cape. Have fun!

very nice and cozy place with a private beach

It was really nice staying at Surfside, and the place is much better than it's shown in pictures. From the moment we walked into the cottage, we felt at home. The kids loved the place and had lots of fun on the beach, we are thinking about coming back on our next vacation. Thank you.

Everything we needed

This property was everything we needed to unwind and relax for a week. We had a great time night fishing at the creek right down the beach. The beach was clean, and because it’s a private beach it was never crowded. Being so close to the ocean, there was a constant breeze which kept us cool. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Location, location, location!

Although we were working remotely, it was such a pleasure to be able to walk out to the beach or through the marsh before or after work. Host was lovely and very accommodating. Beach is becoming more rocky over time, but not crowded with plent of sand and sand bars that are easily accessible at low tide to explore sea life. And short rides to Cape Cod Canal bike path and local restaurants.

Great beach vacation

Nice quaint and quiet beach. Great spot for small kids as well since the water stays fairly shallow and has a fun sandbar. The cottage is adequately stocked but Bringing along some sturdy washable plastic plates, wine glasses and forks might be convenient. This cottage offers a good amount of common family space inside and the sandy courtyard was perfect for the kids. Will definitely think about coming back.

An intense heat wave in July

The heat wave was not the fault of the owner. However the larger fan projected only a moderate amount of cool air . the cottage was extremely hot with no cross ventilation resulting in absolutely no relief 24/7. It was extremely uncomfortable and I think having a decent fan for the living area is a necessity. There was no privacy around the cottage resulting in our stAying inside all evening which was our choice entirely. I think to my discredit I didn’t read the description as carefully as I should have. I thought we were going to be right by the dunes and the beach with a private area where we could enjoy the beautiful sunsets cooler evenings and listen to the sound of the waves. I need to be more careful next time. The owner was very helpful and came to help us out immediately on two occasions. Anyone staying here needs to be assured the place was immaculate . I think my expectations were different than what this cottage provided and the intense heat added to our disappointment with appropriate fans I believe this cottage is more than suitable for families with children.

Nice place and very close to private beach

Enjoyed our stay, the location is great and the cottage is nice and clean. All the essentials are provided and very close to the heart of Sandwich. The only thing lacking is the shower, which could use an upgrade but served its purpose.

Our family of four have been staying at this cottage every summer for a week in August. We love that’s it’s spacious and clean with two bedrooms. It’s everything we need and right on a private beach. What more could you ask for?

My Grandparents and Mother (past owners) had been part of the East Sandwich Beach community for over 65 years. My summers were spent here as a child and, once I was here, I never wanted to leave. I love the Cape, its history and small-town charm - and you will too!
