Fantastic little cottage in a perfect location. It was clean, well appointed and the perfect size for us and our dogs. The view of the bay is also lovely. It was very quiet at night, and even during the day there was virtually no noise from the road or the other cottages. And the walk to the beach access was super easy!!!

Welcoming cute house! Nicely maintained, clean , comfortable beds with well equipped kitchen. Beautiful view and easy access to the bay.

Huge disappointment. The first thing we saw were the window unit air conditioners that were not pictured in the listing photos. Nothing noted either that central AC wasn’t working. Would not have rented a place without central air. The window units were loud with minimal cooling.Furniture shabby - inside & out. Porch furniture was too dirty to use. Porch ceiling fan didn’t work. The motor came on but blades didn’t turn. Sofa nasty, broken chairs, etc. Too much to list. The overall appearance was dirty & worn out.Kitchen had a lot of stuff but very little that was useful. Had to wash anything before using since it was all dirty. Seemed like things were rinsed & put back in the cabinet. Or the dishwasher doesn’t work very well. Floors, fridge and even the throw pillows were dirty. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean & good quality.Listing pictures should represent the current conditions. This listing does not and is very misleading. LR ottomans and porch sun shade were pictured but not there (which would have been an asset since the units are so close together). AC windows units not disclosed at all. We love the area and the location of this cabin but will note rent this one again.

The comfort of our guests is our top priority, and we regret that the air conditioning situation and cleanliness fell short during your visit. We understand how important a cool and comfortable environment is, especially in the warm climate of Port St. Joe. The central air conditioning is in the process of being repaired and the overall condition of the furniture and kitchenware to ensure future guests have a better experience. On a positive note, we’re glad to hear you found the bed comfortable and the sheets to your liking. We hope you will consider giving us another chance in the future, as we would love to provide you with the quality stay you deserve.

Absolute perfection!

The property was exactly as described. It was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 dogs. We were extremely impressed with how clean the house was when we arrived, and the amount of towels/linens was great! The location was perfect being walking distance to literally anything you would need for your stay including fishing/kayaking/bike riding rentals.

Alright House, Nice Location

This house was nice enough for our family of four, but the quality of the house wasn't great. The bathroom door hinges were so loose that we had to pick the door up to get it to close (a chore every time our young child needed to use the restroom). The TVs in the house are clearly old/abused because they were malfunctioning, and there isn't a TV in the spare room, so our child had to use a device for sound/light because she was in an unfamiliar place. The ramp was a nice feature, but the furniture on the porch would make it difficult to maneuver a wheelchair without moving the furniture around. Additionally, the house did not feel as if it had been cleaned well. There was already sand in the beds and the floors turned our feet black quickly. There wasn't any extra sheets either, so when we had a diaper malfunction at night, we had to figure out something to cover the beds. The dock in the back was a nice addition. We enjoyed going out there in the evenings. Personally, the price of the house didn't match the quality.
