Fish or kayak right from the shoreline. Fully remodeled modern lake house in and out. There is an optional 3-4 person hot tub on the back deck for you to relax and unwind.

Welcome to our beautiful lakeview home, your completely remodeled, cozy 2 bed / 1 bath retreat. This home has a Max Adult Occupancy of 4, but up to 6 with 2 children. Central air, heating, and ceiling fans add to the home`s comforts. Use our Wi-Fi to stay connected if you’d like. Head outside to take advantage of our (2) kayaks, just fish right off our shoreline, or just relax & take in the beauty of the lake from the front or back deck and fire pit area. With all our lake house has to offer, you`ll never want to leave! Want more? We have a hot tub amenity that holds 3-4 people on the back deck (Subject to winter closures if freezing air temps of icing occurs)

Outside, enjoy morning coffee on the porch, take a short stroll to the lake, or simply breathe in the peaceful setting. Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, a family trip, or a solo escape, The Compass Cottage offers the perfect blend of cozy, convenient, and unforgettable.

Guests will be able to access all parts of the inside and outside of the home. The only interior inaccessible part of the home is the utility closet for the cleaning and spa company to store supplies. On the outside, the deck and entire yard is accessible to the guest.

There is a 3-4 person hot tub on the back deck with a gazebo over it. (The cost of the hot tub maintenance is included in your cleaning fee. Subject to winter closures if freezing air temps of icing occurs)

This is 1 of 5 homes on Maple Ave off Mineola Bay. This is an old lake house neighborhood that has roots to the origins of Fox Lake. It is generally quite and peaceful along the lake.

When you arrive, there is 2 free parking spaces just for you. They are clearly marked with yellow/black parking spaces behind the house.

This is in the heart of Fox Lake and a long walk from the Fox Lake downtown area, but definitely a 2 minute drive to the stores, movies, restaurants, etc.

Bring your fishing gear. There is good fishing in the Bay. Our kids catch large bass, catfish, bluegill and perch right off our pier in the back yard.

This is a popular house for Naval families to visit and cheer on their boot camp grads since it is only a half hour from the Great Lakes Naval base.

This home is designed safe and secure, and is equipped with a Smart Dead Bolt lock that controls check in and check out times, and has a door camera feature to make sure the correct guests are entering our home. All for your safety and to protect our home.

Garbage day is on Wednesdays. If you are staying with us overnight on a Tuesday, please take the garbage and recycle cans out to the end of the road for the Wednesday morning garbage truck.

The driveway is smaller and can hold (2) full size cars MAX, or 1 larger trucks or SUV`s tight. The entrance road and its an old tight road. Be careful pulling in and out of the driveway. Pull in and out very slow. If at all possible have other guests help you back out.
