Trail access is available via wide ditch riding, making the journey part of the adventure. Return each evening to a crackling wood-burning fireplace and the stillness of a true winter escape.

Log style, upscale, 3 bedroom, 2 full bath cottage on private Cranberry Lake only 25 minutes south of Munising, Pictured Rocks area! For large families rent this along with Moose Lodge on Cranberry Lake, next door, yet private from and almost identical in looks! See our website for more information, www hiawathashideaway com; A/C, Large deck, Romantic, wood burning fireplace, wood interior, warm, comfortable, beautifully decorated, everything you need for a quiet, comfortable stay in the Northwoods, Hiawatha National Forest. A beautiful home in the Hiawatha National Forest for a peaceful stay.

We have beds to sleep 6 guests. You are welcome to have up to 2 more guests. Guest need to provide an air mattress OR you are welcome to use the two couches, although they are not sofa sleepers.

Snowmobile trailhead is located approx 4 miles from door. Nice riding from cabin door to trail via wide ditch riding along county rd 440.

Additional Fees: Be sure to enter the correct number of guests into the Vrbo system in order to get accurate pricing.

We would of loved to have had a hot tub however the cabin had all the other amenities you need and more! Beautiful cabin, very clean, scenic views, firepit, wonderful fireplace for cold nights, a great deck to sit on facing the lake to watch the beautiful stars. Located in the middle of many great nature attractions.

We stayed for 4 nights for a relaxing vacation. The weather was gloomy and rainy half of the time, but the cabin was cozy and the fire place lovely.

The property was beautiful and quite. The wood interior was astonishing and impressive with the structure. I really didn't sleep in the beds because my sisters would find me sleeping in the bean bags. They were so comfortable and I just loved staying in the loft. I plan on coming back to the area because the owners at the Midway General Store are so sweet.

Wonderful up north getaway cabin that is close to Munising! We would definitely stay here again on another pictured rocks trip! Host was very accommodating and made the check in process super easy and smooth. House has everything you could ask for!

Peaceful getaway

My husband, daughter, mother in law and pooch rented this property to enjoy the outdoor activities of the U.P. Our main focus was to visit beaches, hike and take the scenic boat tour of pictured rocks. The cabin was clean and private. The area is remote, closest town is small and most restaurants close early (most are closed during the week by eight or nine ). The views were beautiful from the cabin, we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the deck in the mornings, having coffee alongside nature. At night we enjoyed stargazing and conversations. We never turned on a t.v., instead the setting was our entertainment.

The evening stars and morning birdsong were magical at Cranberry Lake Lodge. Many varied types of hiking trails in the area. The cabin is comfy, cosy, and super clean. Absolute quiet of the location was a treat for us city dwellers!

Beautiful, peaceful setting. The cabin is well kept and extremely clean. Walking in it was warm and inviting. The table was set perfectly. Great communication with the renter. We had researched the area but loved that there is a binder there with information on the area.

Very peaceful and gorgeous property. The dock area is a little mushy. Great place to make memories. Munising is a cute little town, and the pictures rocks are worth the hype. Download the Google map route for offline usage, was accurate to all our destinations when downloaded.

Valentines/Presidents Day Sled trip

The property is set up great, very clean, hosted our crew of 5 adults very comfortably. We had great snow and Trails. Its a hike to the trails but easy, about 4 miles to the trail. Only issue we had was cooking. we had planned on making a dish for five but the biggest skillet was an 8" telon pan that the coating was destroyed on and another 6" skillet. No biggy but changed so things for meals.

Adventuring Surrounding Area

Cabin was spectacular. Decorations and set up was beautiful. Cozy and peaceful interior. We did not stay on property during the day as we adventured to picture rocks, Laughing Whitefish Falls and Kitch-iti-kipi during the day and was treated to sunsets and the best star gazing possible when arriving back at night.

Wonderful Cabin!

We absolutely loved this cabin!! The cabin is beautiful, super clean and well stocked! I loved how the host, Lisa checked in to see if we needed anything. The location was perfect for our trails and adventures! We would stay again!

Beautiful- secluded comfortable home with an amazing view

We were looking for a private home up North that we could enjoy with our 2 well trained dogs and this home was that and so much more. We enjoyed the lake with our kayaks and fishing off the dock was a blast. We hiked to multiple waterfalls and enjoyed other walks where not another person was around. Munising is a cute town to visit. Would highly recommend this home for a relaxing, recharging, reconnecting vacation.

Remote and Peaceful Retreat

Very nice cabin in a remote location in Upper Peninsula Michigan. Kitchen was well stocked with all kitchen appliances and utensils..first place weā€™ve rented that had a crock pot! Lisa was very communicative and helpful to ensure a great stay. Pictured Rocks and trails throughout the area are beautiful. Rented a pontoon boat for 1/2 day to view Pictured Rocks which was the highlight of the trip! Be sure to bring bug spray -UP has lots of mosquitoes and other biting insects but worth it all for the benefit of experiencing the beautiful landscape!

Perfect UP Cabin Experience

My wife and I rented this cabin for a week in the late summer and had a phenomenal experience. We frequently rent cabins in remote areas for our getaways and this was absolutely one of the cleanest and coziest cabins we have stayed in! The view of the lake from the back deck is gorgeous, and the amenities left nothing to be desired. We would not hesitate to return or to recommend it to friends and family!
