Stop by the Glass Bottom Boat Shipwreck Tours, which is right next door, during the summer months for an amazing two hour excursion, SCUBA diving trips (must be certified), or to find out about the many other fantastic things to do while in Munising.

Beautiful place!

We had a great time here. The place was clean, comfortable, and decently large for a two bedroom. It has a really great view too!

Nice little place on the dock of the Bay

Great to have Munising Bay right there to see from dining area and living room and to sit on, albeit small, deck and take it all in.

Property was great, lovely views, we were sad to leave. The only downside is not having at least 1 designated parking spot, as the parking lots can get busy.

Beautiful view and clean place!

Excellent rental. Easy to get to, parking was great, easy access and super clean! Beautiful view of the water and nice deck to enjoy! We would rent again here for sure!

Can't say enough good things about this place! We stayed 30 days and did not want to leave! We used it as home base to see the whole UP. It is right next door to the Shipwreck Tour place, and it was great sitting on the deck watching them load and unload! We used the deck ALOT as its a beautiful view. Beds were great, kitchen stocked with everything we needed. Thank you Kate!

Best kept secret

This property is perfect for those seeking day hikes, water activities or mountain biking in the Munising area. Comfortable, cozy and well equipped loft on Munising Bay.

Generally speaking the place was comfortable and inviting. The bed was comfortable, Enjoyed watching the sunrise from the little deck. That said, the sofa was a bit hard and there was only one recliner. Everything worked but the Roku was a bit of a mystery. Not really a place for children.

No need for communication with the property manager. Easy check in and place was clean. Some of the towels were still damp but we just dried them.

Another delightful stay.

Very comfortable little home. Love the couch facing the water. You can watch everything going on and TV at the same time. View is amazing.

Great stay excellent view

Very nice stay. We were worried about being so close to all this boat action but ended up finding the view and all the activity very fun to watch. Everything was clean and comfortable. We were out on the water most days and when the weather didn't cooperate still enjoyed just sitting in the cottage watching the lake.

A GREAT place to stay!

It was super easy to get in once we got there. The open layout of the place is excellent. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook. The location is super quiet and a quick ride to all the good stuff in the Munising area. Thanks Kate!

Absolutely Perfect

Love everything about our stay! It had everything we needed for our party of 5. Spectacular views and great people watching. We biked to downtown multiple times on the bike path. Can’t wait to come back again!

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay in Munising! Great location to visit Pictured Rocks. Kate was great! The condo was well stocked and clean. Our only suggestion would be thicker curtains in the living room since you could see into the home at night through the sheers. A designated parking space would also be nice. There were a few times we couldn’t find a spot when people were getting on the boats. We had a great time and would gladly return!

I added more curtains for you:):):) and other recent updates as well. 50” flatscreen in the living room. Smaller tvs in each bedroom with access to Hulu, Disney and Paramount plus.

Perfect UP experience

The villa was great. Washer & dryer were so nice to have right in the villa. Kate was an awesome host. Whenever we had a problem or question she was always gracious to help. Loved being close to town & right on the water & enjoyed watching the guests on the glass bottom shipwreck boat. Even after a month we were not anxious to leave for home.

Clean, comfortable beds, great view

We had a fantastic stay. Very clean, comfortable beds, and a wonderful view of the bay from the deck! We liked watching the tour boats coming and going, but that does make this location busier by the waterfront. We liked that, but if you want total serenity, maybe this would bother you. We wanted to grill, but the tank was out of propane. I texted Kate at night and it was filled promptly the next day. We are planning to visit again, there is so much in the area we didn't see yet and this is a great base!

Great lakefront place

My wife and I stayed here a week and were very pleased. We ate dinners on the deck, enjoying the wonderful view of Munising Bay. The location is west of downtown, next door to the place that offers shipwreck tours and also close to the city boat launch and a couple of pontoon rental companies. We loved watching all the boat traffic on the water and didn't mind the lines of shipwreck tour customers walking just past our door. (Things get very quiet after dark.) Kate was a great host, responding very quickly to a couple of small issues.

B&B By the Bay

After booking we received an email to say it was cancelled so we tried to get out money back. That required going thru the credit card folk. Turns out the “cancellation” was a scam so we ended up spending 3 nights in this very nice property.
