Bring your family and friends to enjoy the spectacular Three Mile Lake in Utterson. When the sun goes down, make your way to the fire pit to enjoy the warmth, roast some s'mores and make memories with your family and friends.

The space

Step inside our family owned cottage and experience true Muskoka living with a country eat in kitchen. Ready for a breathtaking view? Just step into the sun filled lake view living room. Perfect for gazing at the tranquil picturesque waters of Three Mile Lake. Our cottage offers 3 cozy bedrooms. Step outside to our large 3-sided deck and enjoy the outdoors, perfect for spending time with your family and friends. At night, sit around the fire pit with our Muskoka chairs and watch nature unfold right before your eyes. Time to indulge in a glass of wine and just kick back and relax. No traffic jams here. Just a few steps down and you are right at waters edge, feel free to use our dock to bring all your water toys (boats, jet skiā€™s, see-dooā€™s and ski-dooā€™s too). Use the public boat launch (free of charge) to drop your toys into the Lake (5km drive away or 30 seconds via water to the boat launch)! Take advantage of the lovely lakeside deck to dock your boats, recline in a chair, try a little fishing or jump off the dock for a quick lake dip. The shoreline is a blend of rocky shoreline enhanced with the natural terrain and waters.

The place was on a beautiful lake well stocked with everything youā€™d need for a cottage stay. I especially love the kayaks. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was great for all our cooking needs. The host was super responsive too

The cottage was very clean. There was adequate room for the four adults and two toddlers. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need to stay comfortably. I know not everyone would need this but a sand box would have been nice since the shore line was rocky. The fire ban was lifted while we were there so we were able to have a fire almost every night. Our stay was very relaxing.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely cottage. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing family getaway. The setting was peaceful and calm, the lake was beautiful and the kids caught lots of fish right off the dock! The host was very friendly and responsive. We had a great time and weā€™d definitely come back.

Fantastic, private cottage on a nice lake

This cottage worked really well for our family of five. It was clean, the space was nice with big windows, and the deck and stairs down to the water were large and brand new. The spot on the lake was very nice too. Alma, the host, was fantastic and attentive to our texts and made sure everything was going well during our visit. It was great overall experience. We certainly recommend the cottage for a family looking to get away for a long weekend or full summer week!

Last minute get away

My husband and I and our dog had a good time here. The cottage seemed newly renovated, clean and well equipped. Owner was very easy to communicate with.An added bonus the fishing was amazing.

Overall we had an amazing time at our summer rental. Host was so accommodating and easy to communicate with. Property was beautiful-kitchen a little dated but worked for what we needed!! Clean and comfortable. A definite great experience

Bedrooms are a bit smaller than we anticipated, but not overly so. Kitchen and living area were great, as well as outdoor space. Electrical could use a bit of an upgrade. We look forward to returning soon!

Cottage rented Aug 11th to 18th

Cottage was nice very peaceful everything you need to be comfortable was supplied only two thing I would recommend curtains in the bedroom, windows and windows to open up. We did get hot a couple nights wouldā€™ve been nice to open up windows. But overall nice place to stay at the host was amazing at answering our questions she was super fast to get back to us also left a wedding anniversary gift for me and hubby thanks for that super kind of you

Nice spot

A very beautiful smaller lake with fantastic views. The cottage itself is a work in progress, and it is clear that the owners are making improvements. The interior is sparse, and most of the lightbulbs are bare. There are a few window coverings in the bedrooms. Rustic and charming.

Great family getaway!

Our family recently rented this cottage and had a fantastic getaway. Alma, the host, was a pleasure to communicate with, always quick to respond and provide helpful information. The cottage itself was cozy with a nice wraparound deck. The well-stocked kitchen made meal preparations a breeze. We all had a blast spending time at the dock, enjoying kayaking adventures and sharing special moments around the campfire. A couple of things to keep in mind: Bring lots of bug spray for outdoor comfort, and be vigilant with small kids near the dock, as itā€™s rocky and the water is deep at the end. If you're looking for a place to unwind, this location is ideal. Our sincere thanks to Alma for being an excellent host, ensuring our stay was perfect. We would definitely return to this cottage.

The best cottage I've ever stayed with an wonderful lakeside view . Everything, inside and outside of the house was so nice and organised. The owner Alma, such an amazing person, was always available and was always checking if we needed anything. This cottage and the service exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend for vacation with your family or friends. Overall 5/5....
