Privacy and tranquility are guaranteed, as there are no next-door neighbors to disturb you. The entire upper level of the house is dedicated to guests, while the lower level is used solely for owner storage. Covered carport parking for two cars is available for your convenience.

Fully remodeled in 2023, Treetop Retreat is outfitted with all-new appliances, furniture, and furnishings. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked with a complete array of dishes and cookware, spices, oils, and Keurig coffee maker.

Central air conditioning (heat pump) ensures your comfort year-round, while a wood fireplace, with provided pressed logs, adds warmth and ambiance. A full-sized washer/dryer is provided exclusively for your use. For those who enjoy outdoor cooking, an outdoor grill is just outside the door.

Start your morning with homemade waffles, using the provided waffle iron and waffle makings. Take your coffee out to the deck or gather at the panoramic view windows to watch the abundant wildlife start their day. Immerse yourself in wildlife viewing, as eagles, osprey, heron, loons, cormorants, seals, and otters grace the surrounding landscape.

After breakfast, venture to a nearby beach where the public is invited to gather oysters and clams (in season). Treetop Retreat is ideally located for swimming and beachcombing at nearby state parks, with Hood Canal renowned for its warm and comfortable summer swimming waters.

Explore the beauty of nature on hikes of various difficulty levels in Tahuya State Forest, Olympic National Park, and other nearby destinations. Thrill-seekers can visit Elfendahl ORV park, while golf enthusiasts will find numerous golf courses in the area. Or hike to secluded and undeveloped Wheeler Lake, near the house.

Returning home, you might want to relax in our ultra private Outdoor Garden Soaking Tub on the view deck. Unlike a conventional hot tub, you don’t have to worry about bacteria or harsh chemicals. Just turn the hot water to your desired temperature, add provided biodegradable suds, and relax AHHHH. When finished, simply pull the plug and rinse out the tub.

And finally, gather around the outdoor fire pit for cozy evenings under the starry sky. Or perhaps you want to spend a comfortable evening indoors, enjoying the two ROKU Smart TVs with private Guest Mode, allowing you to safely utilize your own subscriptions.

Please note that Treetop Retreat has a few cautions for guests to consider. Animals are not allowed on the property. The yard is not fenced. Only use the pressed logs provided by the owner in the wood fireplace. The property accommodates a maximum of four adults, assuming the use of the Queen sleeper sofa. No additional guests or visitors are allowed.
