This sunny, ideally-located 1 bedroom apartment is just a 7 minute walk from downtown Mill Valley, just north of San Francisco. The quaint town offers gourmet restaurants, cafes, shopping, the Mill Valley Outdoor Art Club, Mill Valley Market, Sweet Water Music Hall, trail heads and a movie theater. The apartment is located in a walkable area just 1 block from Mill Valley Library and Old Mill Park, but also steps away from great hiking. There is plentiful free and safe parking on the street.
The space
This sunny and comfortable 1 bedroom apartment sleeps 4 people. It contains 1 queen sized memory foam bed with fluffy down comforter, and 1 queen sized memory foam fold out couch. It also has a kitchen (with portable induction cooktop), a brand new fridge and cozy breakfast bar. A pack-n-play crib is available upon request. The apartment is equipped with Xfinity WiFi and a flat screen TV + Fire Stick so you can stream all your favorite shows.

This is a perfect place for parents visiting their children or grandchildren in the area, or for wedding guests attending the Outdoor Art Club (walking distance).

The unit is on the ground floor of our family’s home. It has a private entrance.

Our family (with 2 young kids) lives upstairs so expect to hear some footsteps above or noise when we are playing in the backyard.
Other things to note
Easy driving access to San Francisco sightseeing, to beautiful Marin scenery and wildlife. 15 minute drive (or 2.6 mile hike) to the Muir Woods National Monument, old growth redwood forest and to beautiful Muir Beach. It's a quick drive to the Golden Gate National Recreation Area hiking trails, including Tennessee Valley Road trail, where an easy 1-3/4 mile hike takes you to the beach. Mountain biking is nearby and kayaking tours of the Bay are available in Sausalito. It's an 8 to 10 minute drive to downtown Sausalito where you can eat a meal by the water or stroll by the Bay on the Sausalito Marina. There are ferries to San Francisco leaving from Sausalito and Larkspur.

A 45 minute drive takes you to wine country in Sonoma or Napa, or to the Point Reyes National Seashore.
