The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Very much enjoyed it beautiful area,safe,comfortable and quiet only concern is no hot water in kitchen or master bathroom,also master bedroom carpet needs desperately cleaned,the master bedroom mattress very uncomfortable a large dip in middle tried turning end to end and it did not help, itā€™s a beautiful home would love to visit again

House some TLC

The carpet in master bedroom is stained. Grouting in bathroom had some mold. Pool deck and patio furniture need power washed. The location was great - convenient to restaurants and shopping. Pool was wonderful once it heated up. Nice basic house but could use some cleaning and paint.

Spring Break respite

The home was as described. Walked around neighborhood nice and quiet. Lots of ducks, birds in pond across the way. 1/2 hour to an hour to many beaches. We went to a different one each day. Beds comfortable had all the appliances and kitchen gadgets we needed. Only downside all towels in closet were so damp had to dry but we had a washer and dryer. Grill needed to be cleaned and smoked us out. Should have heated po very cold but the kids stayed in until they were blue and then took a hot bath. Very enjoyable time for my sons, daughter in laws and grandchildren.

Koala-Port Charlotte

We enjoyed our 6 week stay at Koala. The location Is private and quiet yet convenient to shopping, restaurants beaches etc. We enjoyed watching a variety of birds across the street. The house could use some updates and TLC but is spacious and bright and met our needs. Wished the pool had been heated! Our experience with Vacasa was a positive one.

Disappointed in dealing with VACASA management

We have utilized VRBO for several yrs. This is 1st time dealing with VACASA Mngmnt & will avoid VRBO's using VACASA in the future. If an owner chooses to use VACASA to manage their property, we would recommend due diligence & surprise check their properties to know you are getting what you are paying for. Koala Bungalow is Awesome!

We rented the "Koala Bungalow" the last week of October 23. The temperature was mid-20s high of 30 during the day so ideal if you're looking to Tan but not looking to get cooked! The bungalow had a code lock system to get inside. You have to hit the button at the top then put the code in when it flashes. It's pretty easy to use. The back sliding door has two locks on it one was an internal door lock the other an additional safety lock. We found the bungalow easy to secure and had no access issues the whole time we were there. The inside of the bungalow was spotless, appropriate linens and towels were provided with extras in storage if required. There was a huge L shaped sofa in the TV area and we spent time there later in the evenings curled up watching movies on Netflix. It was very comfy. We found the kitchen equipped with everything we needed. A drip coffee machine with filters was provided. This is good because I need coffee to function in the morning... Outside there was a screen covered pool cage and covered area. The pool cage was surrounded by ferns and palm trees. We saw so many types of birds here everything from eagles flying close overhead to cardinals and blue jays having singing competitions in the trees. The screen cover on the pool cage made sure we were not bothered by any bugs or other critters! The covered area has a table, chairs and a gas BBQ where we made hotdogs one afternoon! The pool was very clean and everything seemed to be working, the water was a good temperature and there was a pool blanket to put over the top when we were finished using it. There were also some pool toys! We played with a floating basketball net and ball, some pool noodles and a soft beach ball. We found the bungalow ideally located. It was about 40 minutes drive from Fort Myers Airport. There's a Walmart supercenter 10 minutes drive from the house and "Murdock Circle" close by has a mall, cinema, sit in restaurants and fast food. Across the road from the bungalow we found a huge pond where we saw a bunch of herons fishing surrounded by other water birds curlewā€™s ducks etc. The sun setting over this pond with the wildlife made for some good pictures! This bungalow would be an excellent holiday destination for families the house is quite large and I could imagine couples with kids having an awesome time here what with the pool and there are also 3 or 4 beaches within driving range. That said I think that this place is an ideal coupleā€™s retreat perfect for spending time with the most important person in your life away from the regular drag. We found it an ideal getaway where we could relax and just be with each other. I can only recommend it to others. We will definitely be back.
