Creature comforts without the chaos. *HOST UP TO 16 GUESTS IN 4 TENTS* with some creativity we can accommodate more. Enjoy your favorite drinks by the campfire w/ your crew and wake up w/ a fresh cup of coffee on the decks and beautiful views. Ample space to do yard games and group activities. Take a hike on our well kept trails or a canoe on our spring fed pond. With plumbing and electricity available in the Commons, you’ll leave refreshed and with new memories on this 100+ acre farm.
The space
12x14 safari tents with comfortable queen beds and crisp clean linens. (A second queen bed available upon request to accommodate 4 campers in each tent). Each tent has a private deck with two very comfortable Adirondack like chairs and a table. A battery operated fan and a solar lantern are in each tent.
A refrigerator/freezer to keep your food cold. Electric skillet/toaster/single serve coffee maker with delicious coffee waiting to make your camping trip even more glamorous. Plates/bowls/mugs/spoons/forks/knives provided so one less thing to pack. S’MORES ingredients are in fridge and roasting sticks by the fire pit. A private fire ring is at each tent. There is a larger fire pit in the shade for all campers to use.
There’s a place in the Commons to take a warm/hot shower before you go to bed or a cool shower in the afternoon when you return from your hike. 2 flushing toilets and 2 sinks in a nice bathroom.
*There is plenty of lawn space to add ground tents if your group exceeds 16. Please inquire for how we can accommodate your group.
Guest access
Wander our maintained paths. Notice the many birds and animals that make the wood their home. There are a variety of trees and plants native to Missouri that create a shaded canopy and shelter for these animals. A map is provided in each tent. Common fire pit and community kitchen are available for guests. There is a spring fed pond our guests are welcome to walk to. Feel free to access with a cano, we provide 2 life jackets. Feel free to bring fishing poles and fish. The water is cold and refreshing swim at your own risk.
We ask our guests not interact with farm equipment, implements or animals
Other things to note
We can be involved in the event planning from start to finish with meal ideas, activities, and games.
Verizon and AT&T both get cell service I can’t say for sure about others.
Buffalo Springs Farm is in Missouri’s great outdoors so be prepared to accept the inherent risk of your adventure including wildlife, insects, and unpredictable conditions (we can’t control weather). Come with an adventurous and open mind, proper clothing, and some bug spray.
