The Space:

This delightful 1-bedroom rental is perfectly situated across from the beach, offering you the ultimate seaside escape. The living area is tastefully decorated, creating a cozy space to unwind and plan your beach excursions. The living room contains a pull-out couch with two coordinating accent chairs, your choice of bistro or countertop style dining areas and a Smart TV. The bedroom is a serene retreat with a comfortable king-sized bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances.



While the 2024 hurricane season was devastating, it also provided the opportunity for a floor to ceiling renovation of this vacation rental. This unit is how fully restored and better than ever, featuring all-new interior finishes, updated systems, modern amenities, and thoughtfully curated design details throughout.



All units are accessed via our lush, red brick tropical courtyard with seating areas for outdoor relaxing /dining and gas grills. Washer and dryer are available on site for no additional charge. Each unit is supplied with beach chairs, beach towels, a beach umbrella and has access to our shared beach carts and fishing equipment. Property is equipped with an outdoor shower.

Great location

The location was perfect for our family reunion. Easily walkable to both the beach and bay. The unit was older but had everything we needed. The common courtyard was adorable. Would stay again.

Such a great place!

So close to the beach; yet so quiet and relaxing. Loved the shaded patio. The condo had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed. Looking forward to our next visit!

Amazing place to stay!

We LOVED staying here. It's a super-short walk to the beach or to the dock. The beach is just beautiful - we spent the first two nights at the Doubletree at North Redington Beach, which was great, but my boys could not get over how much prettier the water and the beaches were at Anna Maria Island. And Mark and his son were so sweet. We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay and perfect location

My husband and I visited for Wedding Anniversary and this place what exactly as advertised. Small enough just for the two of us. Nice neighborhood and friendly neighbors. It’s within walking distance to Bridge Street for shopping and food. So close to the bay for morning Sunrise and Sunsets on the beach. I definitely recommend and plan to return.

Perfect Vacation!

We had an amazing time! The unit was the perfect size for my boyfriend and I. It was clean and very nicely decorated. The location was also great. Just a couple minute walk to the beach and to the bay. We would come back in a heart beat.

Island Getaway was the perfect location. We could walk to the shops, restaurants, farmers market, and across the street from the beach. Doesn't get any better than this!! We will definitely return.

Great location

Loved the shared patio areas although a bit cold to use. Kitchen well stocked with the necessities. Garbage disposable did not work and was not fixed while we were there although it didn’t really interfere with our stay. I would stay here again. Good location

Quaint beach house

This little cottage just a couple houses down from the beach had everything we needed to make a perfect girls getaway. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and seating area just outside the door was our home to long hours of relaxing. The owner was very helpful and attentive. Thank you!

Best stay yet!

Carol and I had a wonderful time. This is our third time to Island Getaway and we would never stay anywhere else. The weather was absolutely perfect and as always the amenities were outstanding. Mark's location is amazing. We have stayed in three different units and all of the units are all fantastic. Already booking our next trip in the Fall and can't wait to be back. Fantastic Stay

We had a great time staying at this lovely condo. It had everything you could wish for a relaxing holiday. Mark (owner) was very accommodating. He gave my wife Tracey a card and a bottle of wine for her birthday. A very nice surprise. The location is perfect for the beach and we loved sitting at the dock watching the world go by. Would definitely recommend and we hope to be be back next year.

Our home away from home

As always another wonderful vacation. From sunrise (100 steps to the bay) to sunset (150 steps to the Gulf) we would not stay anywhere else. Our unit was clean and comfortable as well as the surrounding well maintained grounds. This was our fourth trip and we feel like Island Getaway is our home away from home. The weather was exceptional this visit. We are already planning another trip for spring. Once again, thank you Mark and Lili.

Anniversary Trip, Volume II

We stayed with Mark for our anniversary trip. This is the second year we have stayed on this property. Stayed in unit 3 this year. As we have come to expect and appreciate, everything was top notch. It's the little things this property offers: great pillows, premium mattresses, great beach equipment, that sets it apart. We will be back!

An other awesome week!

This is our fifth stay at Island Getaway. We try to come twice a year. The owner Mark is phenomenal. We meet him each time we are there because he is always around to make sure you are comfortable and satisfied with your stay. You are only 75 steps to the beach. A very short walk to restaurants and a short drive to supermarkets. If you like the beach and want to relax there is no better place than Island Getaway. Thank you Mark for providing this wonderful experience.

Another wonderful time!

Another wonderful time! We have been coming here for the past three years. Every spring and every fall. We call it our home away from home. Such a relaxing atmosphere. Steps from Sarasota Bay and steps from the Gulf of Mexico. Restaurants and shops within walking distance. If you love the white beaches of Florida as much as we do and want to relax, island getaway is the place to be. Once again Mark, thank you for sharing your little price of paradise with us.
