Beautiful Wine Country Retreat!

Set on three beautiful acres, Casa de Blakeman, is a secluded turnkey retreat located in the world-renowned Sonoma growing region of Carneros. This private home is minutes from numerous wineries as well as the historic Sonoma Plaza offering a vast selection of shopping and fine dining options. Casa de Blakeman includes a fully furnished home. The Property features spectacular views of vineyards and the Valley of the Moon. The property also features a large solar heated pool, hot tub, sauna, pond, bocci ball court, basketball court, pool table, a cabernet hobby vinyard, large level lawn areas, outdoor fireplace, olive trees, peach and apple orchard and deck equipped with outdoor BBQs.
The main house is 4 bedrooms/3 full baths with a large (lodge style) Living Room and game room with pool table. There are 2 bedrooms with queen beds, a third bedroom with three twins, and the 4th master bedroom has a California King bed and contiguous full bathroom and walk-in closet. There is a furnished Guest House with 1bd 1ba plus Den that has a queen sofa bed for extra sleeping. The pool area boasts an inviting outdoor fireplace and a covered patio seating area. The landscaping at Casa de Blakeman is spectacular with its large weeping willow trees, private pond, expansive lawns, vineyard and pasture views all lending to it's unique park-like setting. It is truly a relaxing wine country retreat. We invite you to come and experience it!

Your house was amazing. The layout and views were incredible. It fit all 12 of us comfortably and the large family room kitchen with many amenities was perfect. Sitting by the pool, watching the sunset with the vineyard in the background was beautiful. It made for great pictures. The house was clean, beds were comfortable and check in and out was easy. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful, spacious home with lovely grounds and lanscaping near town and easy drive to wineries. We enjoyed the hot tub and a cold plunge in the pool! Really well appointed kitchen, tons of towels and lots of space on the couch to chill out at night. We did not use the fire place or grill but we enjoyed the deck, too. Great frog sighting on the pond and fun time shooting pool. Terrific "classmate" reunion of 50-something's!

We had the most amazing girlā€™s trip at this beautiful Sonoma property! The house itself was spotless, spacious, and had everything we could have possibly needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals together, and every detail felt thoughtfully prepared for guests. It truly felt like a home away from home, but with the added luxury of being in the heart of wine country.The setting is absolutely breathtaking. The pictures donā€™t even capture how gorgeous it really is. From the sparkling pool to the peaceful pond and the rows of wine grapes in the background, it felt like the perfect Sonoma getaway. Michael was a fantastic host, always quick to respond and so helpful with any questions we had. We couldnā€™t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay!

Lovely spot in wine country

House had great layout for family/friends. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy. We especially appreciated the wood burning fireplace on colder days. If you like to get up and go walking from a property this one doesn't really have that option - short walk down to main road but a minor quibble when you can get quickly get to many parks/trails. If we come back would definitely stay again!

Communication between VRBO and homeowners

Home was excellent and beautiful. But owner was not informed by VRBO of our reservation. He was staying there. VRBO needs to coordinate better with the homeowners.

Fantastic Bachelorette Getaway

My friends and I had a fantastic stay at Michael's property. It was tucked away from most of the Sonoma area which was perfect. It felt like we were nice and secluded! The pool was amazing. We had a little bit of trouble with the cover closing but I texted Michael and he came over the next morning to attend to it.he was super friendly and we ended up running into him out in downtown Sonoma as well. We had about 12-14 girls coming through the house for the whole weekend and there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep. Would highly recommend this property!

Perfect Amenities for a long weekend in Sonoma

Had a birthday weekend for my wife with great friends. We were able to unwind and spend time together at the house, poolside. Great location to Sonoma square where we hit the beacon and then wit&wisdom Saturday night. Book it.

Lovely Large House in Sonoma

Great property for a chill family getaway!

We rented this property for three days and had a great time. Itā€™s a quick drive to downtown, had a lot of activities for kids - basketball, bocce ball and ping pong, overall clean place, nice place to chill - we loved our stay and the owner was quite flexible and easy to work with. Overall, weā€™d come back if we are to look in the area again!

New Years Weekend

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is fantastic and the house is large and accommodating including the great guest house. The only slight downside is the kitchen is very dated although everything works. Michael was very responsive during our stay. Weā€™d like to come back in the summer/fall to better enjoy the pool and outdoors.

Beautiful setting

Beautiful, serene setting nestled between vineyards and nature with towering trees, pond, owls, frogs, etc. We didn't use the full facilities with just our family but really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings!

Sonoma Stay

Home is great with understanding owners. With the threat of rolling power outages looming this time of year the owners worked to secure a generator and water in case of emergency. It ended up not being needed but the owners were committed to helping our stay be the best it could be. They were very flexible and understanding of the situation which was greatly appreciated.

Private, yet close-in property with lovely views and grounds. Spacious accommodations for all-love the 2 bedroom guest house-perfect for the guests that need a little extra privacy and quiet (my 9 month pregnant daughter and hubby). I had the absolute best 60th birthday at this property. Michael is a wonderful host. Very helpful with all our needs and requests-highly recommend!

Lovely Sonoma getaway

This is a lovely property right in the heart of wine country. It was so nice that I didnā€™t ever want to even leave to visit a vineyard. Total relaxation and luxury!
