Truly a "Dream House" on the Ocean. This 9 bedroom, luxurious home has everything you could dream of and more. Beautifully decorated with breathtaking ocean views. Bask in the sun on the beach or beside your private pool (16'x32' and a salt water treatment system)! For an additional fee you may have the pool heated. Relax in the hot tub under the stars. Enjoy a game of volleyball, horseshoes or challenge your friends to a game of pool in the rec room. The house is handicap friendly with elevator and roll in shower. Just 10 yards to the beach.

There are 12 Cable TVs and a computer with highspeed wireless internet to keep you connected to business or current events. You may prefer to kick back, forget about the real world and enjoy your Ocean Dream for the week!!!

Guest Review: 'Beach Realty was on the money. They made the whole rental process smooth and easy. The Ocean Dream was a "dream". The views from the third floor were incredible. The furniture is all updated and kept clean. The beds top of the line not one bad night sleep. This place is worth every penny.'

"Just steps from the gorgeous beach. House was spacious and well equipped. Washer and dryer were great (and large which helped). We had 18 people (half kids, half adults - mix from 2 month old to grandparent) and the house never felt crowded. Plenty of seating outside as well. Everything was clean and neat and we loved the pool and the proximity to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped, and the two dishwashers came in handy. It would have been nice to have had an extra garbage can or two, not sure if that is an option, but they were full from the previous tenant when we arrived (realtor did arrange to have some of it picked up so we would have more space). It really was a wonderful vacation in a great location. The house is very close to grocery shopping and an easy ride to Duck for shops and restaurants. The pool was wonderful. The a/c had three separate zones which helped with varying opinions on a comfortable temperature!"

My daughter has a power wheelchair and the house was perfect for her to get around. Mostly open floor plan. We had family meet us here and everyone was very comfortable. The views were priceless! Thank you!

Ocean Dream

The house was very comfortable. There was an issue with a leaky toilet and a maintenance person came right away. The location is great and the kitchen is very well appointed. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would come back to this house. The location between Corollla and Duck was ideal and not far from Harris Teeter. The house was also not right next to other houses and the walkway to the beach was new and fine. The hot tub was great.

The way it’s positioned- we were literally able to see the kids in the ocean from the living room window! Only downside if I were to find one, was there is no stairs to the pool when you are coming back from the ocean. Otherwise - really enjoyable place!

Beach Reality makes things easy and responsive to requests.House does need a really good deep clean though and not satisfied with how we received it. Dog hair on beds, floors/bathrooms not very clean, found trash on dresser (including a retainer) and outside, and blood on sheets of one of the beds (not sure they had been changed). Also, mattresses could be updated. Also, would suggest at some point adding another refrigerator to upstairs- needed for a home this size.

As hard as we tried, we couldn't keep sand out of the pool - should have been vacuumed mid week.

Also the inside and outside of the kitchen cabinet needed to be cleaned. The tables by the beds in the bedrooms was very dusty and we had to clean them. There was alot of cobwebs through the house. The outside need a good cleaning. We enjoy our vacation. The owner sent us a cheesecake and that was very nice surprise. Parking was great. If the house had been cleaned we would have given it a 5 star. We are renting it again with the hope that it will be cleaner.

The landscapers came and weed wacked grass into the pool and there was no skimmer for us to clean it out. Also after the storm we had to call again to get the pool cleaned out and couldn't use it for 2 days because no one came. It would be helpful for there to be a skimmer for the renters to use instead of having to call every time there was an issue. Also it would be a great way to get the crabs out too. The grill was hard to use and should probably be replaced. Other than that our visit was great. The house is beautiful and location is perfect.

Ocean Front Awesomeness

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 20 really enjoyed our stay and already rebooked the same home for next summer. Pros: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! Can’t beat being right on the beach with our own private access. The kitchen and common areas were spacious. Kitchen was well-stocked. Gate at the top of the stairs was good for safety for kids and containing the dog. Cons: No direct pool-to-beach access (had to go inside, upstairs, then out again and vice versa). This made for a sandy house since there was no hose/wash area on the 2nd level where the beach access is located. Beds somewhat uncomfortable. Volleyball area is unusable because of weeds. No early check-in. Rental company was very responsive and quick to act on issues that came up (missing towels, AC needed repair, etc).

You should not be able to even say there is a volleyball court. Weeds everywhere. If you didn't like sitting on lounge chairs there were no chairs outside to sit on. 2 the mattresses really need replaced. Most everyone where very uncomfortable due to being over use. We have rented a house for 12 years in Corolla. Our family had a wonderful week being together even though we were disappointed with somethings we really enjoyed the view of the ocean from the top rooms of the house.

Beware of this Property!

I would like to add attachments of pictures and videos I took upon arrival. The place was not clean to say the least. They sent a crew of six to the property after I complained that did make some improvements. I had to spend half the next day cleaning, many of the windows were so filthy you could not see through them. The grounds were trashy and not kept. The AC did not work on the lower levels, when we reported the issue a technician was dispatched. He confirmed that the unit was blowing at 77 degrees with the setting of 72 and needed an HVAC specialist. That was the last we heard from anyone regarding the AC. Very, Very disappointing

Great Family Getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I had a great getaway to Ocean Dream and the Outerbanks. It was a very cold and rainy week, but the house and the view allowed us to still have a really good vacation. The views from the third floor were amazing, the house is huge, and the pool table and foosball table were clutch. We were able to gather a lot of really good seashells and enjoy horseshoes on the days it didn't rain. The house was very well maintained and the elevator made carrying groceries/luggage in a lot easier. The separately wrapped towels made us feel very safe during the pandemic. We couldn't find the darts for the dartboard, but a package of new darts arrived within 24 hours of our question, and it was just a question, not a request! We were really impressed and if we're every back in the Outerbanks we will be back!The only possible improvements could be relative to housekeeping upon our arrival. Both dishwashers were still full, one with dirty dishes, and the dryer was still full with presumably clean towels. Not a big deal, but the only blemishes on an otherwise really awesome stay.Thanks so much!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Here are some pros about this property. Oceanfront location was great. Stairs down to the beach were fine until the last step, which you basically had to jump off of. Good thing there was a public walkway right nextdoor. Kitchen was very well equipped and even had a KitchenAid mixer.Now the cons. I was first to arrive at he house and had to run out and get some Windex to clean the windows(at least the ones I could reach) as they were FILTHY and hard to see the view. The washing machine worked to some degree but did not spin the clothes enough and had to put them in the dryer at least twice. The plastic shower curtain in my room was very moldy. Wasn't too keen on the walkway to the beach having no access to the ground pool area. Bascially you had to go through the house with sandy feet to get downstairs. The junk left by multiple previous tenants(broken chairs and umbrellas) could have been cleaned up. This could be a very nice rental if the property managers showed they cared more. I know I will not rent this property again and not sure if I would rent through beach realty.

Also, the volleyball court is unusable because of all the sand spurs. Plenty of parking in the driveway. Best price for the beachfront location.

Beautiful views of the ocean!

We loved watching the waves, dolphins, storms, etc. The bedroom masters were ideal for our group. The kitchen was well stocked with pots pans griddle crockpot etc The pool was a nice option for the children and the hot tub for the adults. Some details could be improved such as cleaner shower curtains especially in rooms with tubs.. The front area with the tennis court wasn’t usable due to high grass, etc. There were concerns about the cleanliness of towels and bed sheets that was resolved quickly and efficiently. We are returning next year.

Ocean Dream Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 14 enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Dream house in Corolla. We loved the fact that the house was ocean front. There was a lovely view of the ocean from the huge picture window in the living room. The house was well appointed with beach chairs and umbrellas. Unfortunately, beach towels were not provided. There were multiple decks that allowed for private time or relaxing out of the sun. The kitchen was well appointed. There were only 2 kitchen towels so we used a lot of paper towels. The huge dining room table was great for our large family. We used the smaller table for puzzles. There’s a walking path on the main road. A shopping mall with Duck Donuts and smoothie shop was only about a mile away. The beach was beautiful and not over crowded. On the negative side, the house wasn’t as clean as we would have liked. There was a mattress pad on the floor when we walked in, stains on some of the comforters, and dust on the furniture. Each room only had two towels, hand towels, and face cloths. Some of the bathrooms didn’t have a bath mat. The half bath did not have any towels. The kitchen faucet was awful. It sputtered water causing us to get soaked every time we did the dishes. The stove top was mediocre. It took forever to boil water and some of the burners worked better than others. The shower drain in the lower level bathroom was backed up causing it to be unusable. The pool was a good size and got sun most of the day but it was very sandy. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Overall, we had a good stay. The biggest pros were the size of the house, proximity to the beach, pool, and the location in Corolla. On the negative side, the house wasn’t as nice as we expected given what we paid. Loved the area and would definitely come back just don’t think we’d rent this house again. The location was great. There were many stores, restaurant

Our best Outer Banks vacation yet!!!

Perfect Vacation Destination with the Family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a perfect beachfront property....nice view of the ocean, sunrise and sunset. We love the location.The place need a some cleaning like... the 2 shower curtains has molds, ceiling funs were dusty, there were sand on the pool, the bunk bed mattress need to be replaced, windows need some ckeaning. Other than that it is worth the price and stay. We all had a WONDERFUL TIME. Will rent it again.
