The Eastview Cottage, a waterfront retreat with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and New York City skyline. Available year round, our waterfront cottage come fully furnished. Our cozy cottage can accommodate 3 comfortably. The Eastview cottage is no more than ten feet from the water with picturesque views from each patio. Your stay is guaranteed to be a tranquil excursion. The Cottage is less than an hour from New York City by boat, car or public transportation.

The Riverfront Cottages pamper you with a feel of an Island Getaway. Our 60ā€™ dock offers the best striped bass fishing around. Come by boat and we have slips availabe to accomodate you. Just steps away, rent a boat, or take a ride on a charter vessel, party boat, or classic wooden boat excursion. The cottages are located within walking distance to Gateway National Recreation Area at Sandy Hook, a 7-mile long peninsula with over 1,600 acres of pristine beach and a spectacular holly forest where over 300 species of migratory shorebirds can be spotted. Spend the day sunbathing and swimming on the wide beaches or enjoy premier surf fishing. Horseshoe Cove on the bay side of Sandy Hook offers plenty of spots to anchor your boat and ideal conditions for kayaking, parasailing, windsurfing and Jet Skiing. The Eastview Cottages is located under the national landmark, Historic Twin Light Lighthouse, Hartshorne Woods, Henry Hudson Bike Trail and many Zagat rated waterfront restaurants. Park your car or boat on our facility as all area attractions are walking distance and many a few steps away.

The location and property was absolutely amazing.The cottage was well appointed and comfortable.The grounds were landscaped professionally and well maintained. With the backdrop of the water and bridge, it exceeded all of our expectations.Appreciated the pass to Sandy Hook beach area ! Enjoyed the unexpected history tour of the lighthouse and abandoned officers homes.Went to Seafarer for dancing, which was a nice crowd and immensely enjoyed looking at the homes on Ocean Drive.We do these kind of stays a lot and this was the best so far !Thank you Gary !

Perfect little hideaway for a trip to the nearby beaches. The place is well cleaned and maintained and the owner is kind and communicative. Love having a nightcap or morning coffee out by the water.

Quiet Waterfront Getaway

Despite occasional bad weather, we had a relaxing time at Gary's waterfront cottage. Everything was as described and Gary is a super responsive and accommodating host. Proximity to the Sandy Hook beaches was stellar and the pet-friendly feature was fantastic. We would definitely stay again.

This is my 3rd trip to Gary's property and the second time I've stayed in this particular unit. Once here there is little reason to leave the property! I thoroughly enjoyed this stay.

Exactly what we needed!

The perfect mini getaway! The location offers breathtaking views. The neighborhood is pleasant and easy to navigate. The house is absolutely perfect!! You have a beautiful view, whichever window you decide to look out. Very clean and quaint. Everything you need to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay. Couldnā€™t ask for a better experience. Communication from the day we booked, until the moment we left after our stay was on point. Canā€™t wait to get back here. We know exactly where we are staying !!! Thank you to Gary and his crew!!!

Cute Cottage

We stayed at the cottage for an impromptu trip to NJ. The cottage was cute and had everything we needed, including a sleeper sofa. The views were breathtaking and being on the water was relaxing. We look forward to our next stay!

Perfect Weekend!

Looking for a place to enjoy our last weekend before dropping daughter off at school. Loved having walkability to restaurants and we could bike over to Sandy Hook NP. The beach was great. More our vibe than the busier boardwalk beaches of the Jersey Shore. Would definitely recommend this place! The property manager had someone ready to orient us to the place when we arrived and was available immediately when we had a question about the lights. Very responsive!

Great Getaway!

Perfect weekend getaway

Great little cottage for a weekend getaway at Sandy Hook Beach. Having breakfast in the chairs out by the river was an added delight. The property was clean and just as described. Would gladly stay again.

Mini beach vacation

Sunny, clean, and convenient. Lovely spot on the water. We enjoyed the tranquility of sitting on the waterfront and soaking in the sunsets. Surprisingly quiet for being right under bridge. We were able to explore much of Sandyhook during our three night stay. Fourth of July, we managed to avoid car traffic by walking over bridge to nearby quiet beach. Bonus of having a private viewing of the fireworks over the water. Good eateries within walking distance. (Also, recommend short drive to Jus organic cafe.) The one drawback was the sofa bed, which was quite uncomfortable. But host, Gary was responsive, and Peter, the maintenance man was particularly helpful.
