If you want five star accommodations and next level customer care, this is the place! What an absolutely gorgeous home - perfect for families, couples or friend groups. Todd was so incredibly accommodating and helpful. He and his wife really want their guests to have a top notch experience and to have all the comforts. Location is fantastic. It’s a quiet space and an easy walk to the nearby winery. Also perfect for families wanting to enjoy Lutsen ski area in the winter. I highly recommend this place. You will feel spoiled. It’s worth every dollar. Thank you Todd and Rebecca!!!

Gorgeous

We stayed at this property with six friends to celebrate my husband's birthday, and it exceeded all expectations. The home is absolutely stunning - from the spacious primary suite to the beautiful lanai and professional-grade kitchen. The location couldn't be more perfect for our activities: golfing, hiking, and exploring local breweries. The property itself provided the ideal home base for relaxing, cooking meals together, and enjoying each other's company. This truly felt like paradise nestled in the trees.

Great Retreat

Beautiful, new construction home that was clean and well appointed. Perfect for 4 adults and a child. Our son loved the loft and called it "the tree house". Perfect for a weekend getaway!

Another wonderful stay

This is our second time staying at this property, and again had a wonderful time. Location is perfect for skiing and the property is new and well-maintained. Todd quickly addressed two minor issues with the bed and oven for us. Highly recommend for families looking for a North Shore getaway.

Delightful experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our host was genuinely kind and caring. He prepared us well so that we had a smooth arrival and stay, offering his help in anyway. We did not encounter any issues or displeasures. His communication and response was the best we've experienced with any VRBO or resort.

Beautiful "back to nature" get away

The remote North Superior Shore is a perfect place to reboot the soul; and the "meet the earth" Frank Lloyd Wright multilevel unique architecture and interior decor of Todd's place was a synchronized match to achieve perfect zen! Quiet neighborhood, tons of southern glass overlooking the lake. We will definitely return!

July 2024 Visit

Overall we were happy with our stay in July 2024! We were a group of 6 adults, taking a few days to get away and spend time together. Todd was very informative and responsive. This home is beautiful! Loved the location, how quiet it was, the well equipped kitchen, and the space throughout the house. The only negatives during our stay, which we did communicate with Todd, were: *No window coverings in the bedroom, which made for early rising as the sun came up. *Not able to run a furnace fan for air movement throughout the house (there is no air conditioning in the home, which we understand isn’t always needed in Lutsen, but “stale” warm air isn’t comfortable for hanging out and sleeping in). As is the norm in lots of homes, leaving the windows open all night wasn’t ideal as mosquitos/gnats still found their way in. *The available grill for cooking consisted of 2 small personal size charcoal grills, which made cooking for 6 a little challenging. *Washer/Dryer not available in the house. 2 in our party traveled from 1300+miles away and were hoping to have laundry there for easy packing. Those few things aside, our group really did enjoy our time together in your home!!! Thank you, Todd!

Top notch all around

We stayed here for a 4 day trip to the north shore. The house is fantastic - great layout, filled with natural light with views of the lake and the forest and an amazing and well stocked kitchen. We cooked in a few times and this was by far the nicest kitchen I’ve seen. The location is great too - across the street from the winery, quick drive or bike ride up to the gondola/alpine slide and an easy drive to Grand Marais and state parks. Todd was an excellent host - he communicated well and was committed to ensuring we had a great experience. I will be staying here again.

Beautiful, spacious and comfy

My two cousins stayed here for a relaxing girls' weekend and we really enjoyed it. The location was lovely with a view to Lake Superior, and the home was beautifully designed, spacious, clean and very comfy. The host, Todd, was conscientious, responsive and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this property — but would note that it doesn't have AC. The listing is accurate, but I missed that detail. Luckily, it didn't matter for us, even though it was mid-July. The weather was cool and we opened the windows and enjoyed the fresh air and North Shore breeze. We even used the fireplace in the evenings!

One of a Kind on the North Shore

We recently stayed at Todd's remarkable home on the North Shore, and I can confidently say it was a grand experience. It was clear that Todd takes immense pride in his property and is dedicated to providing his guests with a first-class experience. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed with the spacious Great Room, which offers wonderful views of the forest and Lake Superior through its expansive windows. The screened porch, with similar views, quickly became a favorite spot for our family to relax and enjoy each other's company. As a family who loves to cook, we found the kitchen exceptionally well-equipped. From utensils to spices, Todd has thought of everything making it a Chef's delight. The location of the home is secluded and serene, yet conveniently close to attractions such as the Lutsen ski area, Cascade River State Park, and the Superior National Golf Course. The General Store in Lutsen proved to be a convenient resource for forgotten items. Whether you're seeking adventure or relaxation, this home on the North Shore is truly one-of-a-kind.

North Shore Gem!!

We recently stayed at this rare gem of a cabin on the Northshore, and it was a five-star experience from start to finish. The cabin boasts modern amenities and a true chef's kitchen that made our stay truly special. The screened porch provided breathtaking views, making it a star-gazer's dream come true. What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional hosting by NorthShore John. His communication and unwavering dedication to ensuring our comfort were truly remarkable and spoke volumes about his character. We were able to fully relax and enjoy every minute of our stay thanks to his attentive care. We are already planning our return trip to this wonderful cabin to enjoy everything that John has created. A solid 10/10 rating – we can't wait to be back!"

This place is every bit as advertised. It’s gorgeous and well appointed. Everything is well thought out, including everything in the kitchen you’d need to cook with. The beds are dreamy. The windows are abundant, letting you see and enjoy all of the nature around you. And the loft was a huge hit with my teen boys. So cool!

The best.

We can’t say enough good things about our time here. Absolutely beautiful home, easy to be together with perfect common spaces and really comfortable bedrooms and baths. Spaces are organized perfectly including the chef’s kitchen. Location couldn’t be better for skiing at Lutsen. Communication with owners was simple—clear directions and a couple follow up check ins to make sure we were all set. Thanks for giving us o e of the best family weekends. We’ll be back!!

Beautiful North Shore Ski Home

We had a wonderful stay here. Todd was very responsive, getting a faulty beeping smoke detector high up on a ceiling fixed quickly. Really went the extra mile to make us feel at home. The property itself is gorgeous with amazing views of the lake. Would highly recommend!

This house is absolutely beautiful! Very clean and had all the necessary kitchen supplies needed for any size group. Todd was very pleasant to deal with and I could tell he is passionate about his property and making sure renters have a great time! I highly recommend this house but words can’t do it justice! Beautiful home in Lutsen

House is very nice. On Superior National golf course with a view of Lake Superior. Easy to get to. It is brand new which is nice. I have to point out one thing that wasn't perfect - The house isn't quite finished as it is very difficult to get contractors all the way up in Lutsen. The upstairs bathroom slider door is broken so you are taking showers in the open. Otherwise, we had a great time and would stay there again. Owners were very nice.

Beautiful gem in Lutsen Mountains

This house far exceeded our expectations! You definitely will not find anything in the Lutsen area that comes close to the luxury of this house! The large open kitchen, dining room, and living room are at least twice the size of any lodging you will find in the area. We were also extremely impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked with dishes, pots, pans, appliances, and even spices and other kitchen coooking staples. Our kids loved the book nook and upstairs loft which they referred to it as their "treehouse". The screen porch was a perfect place to wind down (bug-free) in the evening with some wine from the North Shore Winery, which is just down the road. The owner, Todd, was fantastic at communicating with us and was always available when we had questions. He also makes great recommendations on places to check out in the area. We lov we loved staying here and are looking forward to bookimg another stay here in the future!
