Experience a one-of-a-kind stay at Ruby Peak, a luxurious condo in the heart of Downtown Enterprise, located in the renovated historic Litch Hotel. Designed with Enterprise's old time drug store in mind, this unique space features a fully equipped kitchen, spacious bedroom with a king-size bed, large bathroom, and comfortable living area. Dog-friendly and close to local attractions like Wallowa Lake and Joseph, it's the perfect base for exploring the wonders of Wallowa County.

Todd & Andy McKee, The McKee Brothers, own and operate the Litch Hotel which is part of Eagle Cap Vacation Rentals. They both live in Wallowa County, near Enterprise and are available to be onsite quickly if a need arises.

Ruby Peak is located in the historic Litch Hotel on the corner of Main Street and River Street in Downtown Enterprise. Enterprise is generally quieter and slower paced than its more famous neighbor Joseph. Many guests that stay in the Litch Hotel have noted their appreciation for this feature of the location. On the other hand Joseph is a short 10 minute drive away making it a convenient access point to the many outdoor adventures that our guests plan to enjoy during their stays.

Back in the day, the Litch Hotel had 11 apartments and just one bathroom on the 2nd floor (can you imagine?! 😅), but don’t worry — times have definitely changed! Now, you’ll have your very own private bathroom and kitchen, so no awkward run-ins while you’re making that midnight snack 🍕. The entryway outside your unit is the only shared space, so feel free to get cozy and relax however you like — no one’s around to judge your Netflix binges or late-night PJs! 😎🛋️

A comfortable king size bed awaits in along with shelves and hooks for clothing and comfortable chair and ottoman with a reading lamp.

A large bathroom with tile floors and a rain shower inside a large stand up tiled shower. A hiking themed hand drawn mural adorns the wall and large sink and lit mirror provides more than enough space for make up application.

☆☆ KITCHEN, LOUNGE & DINING ☆☆

The kitchen is well appointed. New appliances and new quartz countertops provide ample of food prep space. Appliances such as a Keurig coffee maker, blender and toaster help make the kitchen meet every guests needs. 16 spices and olive oil ensure your meals will be full of flavor. A small dining table by the front window along with two dining chairs allows for a comfortable dining experience using locally hand made plates, bowls and coffee cups. The kitchen opens into a living room space that provides a comfortable leather sofa facing a large HD flat screen smart TV. The living room also includes a cool chair suspended from the ceiling that guests are able to sit on.

☆☆ OUTDOOR SPACE ☆☆

The front door opens on to River Street directly across from the historical Wallowa County building. Your just a short walk away from several eating establishments and just a short drive away from the Wallowa Lake and the many outdoor opportunities that the Eagle Caps offer. There is plenty of on street parking for guests in the block surrounding the Litch Hotel. In more than a year of operating the hotel, we haven't had a guest complain about not being able to find convenient parking.

Enterprise might be small, but it's big on charm! Here’s how to make the most of your time without getting lost (not that it’s easy to do here 😄).

Downtown? Just walk outside. Yep, you’re basically in the middle of it. 🏙️ Perfect for a leisurely stroll to grab a coffee or check out local shops. ☕🛍️
Joseph is just a short 10-minute drive away for those wanting a taste of small-town fun or the beauty of Wallowa Lake! 🚙🌲
Wallowa Lake is about 15 minutes by car, and trust us, it’s worth the trip for a day of lakeside adventures. 🛶🎣
Need supplies? No worries — the grocery store is just a stone’s throw away. Perfect for stocking up on snacks or dinner essentials. 🍔🍫
Parking? Easy peasy! Free parking is right outside, so no need to stress about finding a spot.
Not in the mood to drive? No problem! Enterprise is totally walkable, and biking around the area is always a great idea! 🚴‍♀️🌞

UNIT DETAILS & POLICIES

NOISE CONSIDERATIONS:

🔊NOISE CONSIDERATIONS: The Litch hotel is old and wasn’t built with modern soundproofing. You will hear sounds from adjacent units, whether above, below, or next door, as well as footsteps and movement on the stairs and in the hallways. Note this unit is adjacent to a main 2nd floor staircase.

The Litch is designed for families, couples, and friends looking for a comfortable and fun place to relax after enjoying all that Wallowa County has to offer. However, if you’re looking for a place to have a bachelor party or kegger, this isn’t the right venue. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where all guests can enjoy their stay without excessive noise from others. Most guests are consciousness which allows everyone to have a great time. Occasionally a loud knucklehead will stay next door.

We ask all guests to be mindful of the noise they make especially during stated quite hours so all guests can fully enjoy their time here. Thank you for understanding and for helping us preserve the peaceful charm of the Litch Hotel!

👥EXTRA GUEST POLICY: Our nightly rate covers up to 2 guests. We can host up to 4 total:
Additional guests are $30 per night
Please be courteous let us know in advance if you’ll have extra guests. We don’t provide extra linens or supplies beyond the base rate, and unregistered guests may result in cancellation.

🥵SAUNA DISCLOSURE: The Rosy Peak unit you have reserved has a sauna for your private use. Use of the sauna is at guests’ sole risk. Eagle Cap Vacation Rentals makes no representations or warranties concerning the use of the sauna. Guests must be cautious using the sauna. Guests must be fully aware that the sauna can be dangerous and may result in injury or death. Pregnant women should not use the sauna. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult when using the sauna.

🐾PET-FRIENDLY UNIT NOTICE: Our unit welcomes guests with and without pets. While many visitors without pets have a great stay, we want to remind everyone that we cannot guarantee a dander-free environment. This may affect individuals with dog or cat allergies.

🐶PET POLICIES FOR GUESTS WITH PETS:

NUMBER OF PETS: A maximum of 2 pets allowed per reservation. Notify us at booking or as soon as possible if there are any changes.
💲PET FEE: A non-refundable fee of $30 + tax per night for each pet is required, including for ESAs. Please let us know at the time of booking if you are bringing any pups.
CLEAN UP: Owners must clean up after their pets; supplies are provided under the kitchen sink for indoor mishaps.
DAMAGE AND LIABILITY: Guests are financially responsible for any damage or incidents caused by their pets. Owners will not be held liable for injuries or damages.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 CHILDREN: The Litch Hotel welcomes families, but due to the age and historic nature of the building, the property is not ideally suited for children under the age of 8. The building’s design, with thin walls and floors, allows sound to easily travel between units. Young children’s natural energy—running, jumping, and playing—can result in noise that significantly impacts the comfort of neighboring guests. If you are traveling with children under 8, we ask that you carefully consider whether the Litch is a good fit for your family’s needs. If you end up visiting, please understand the unique nature of the property and ensure your children are mindful of noise levels throughout your stay.

🔑CHECK-IN: Anytime after 3:00 PM. Early check-in options available:

COMPLIMENTARY: Call after 12:30 PM on your arrival day if the unit will be ready prior to 3:00 we are happy to let you in early.
GUARANTEED: Pre-arrange early check-in for $20/hour starting as early as 1:00 PM.

⏰CHECK-OUT: Required by 11:00 AM; late check-out available at $20/hour.

🚭NO SMOKING: Smoking is prohibited within the condo.

🎉PARTIES: Require prior approval.

🕧QUIET HOURS: 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

🛌BEDS: Our beds include medium-firm memory foam mattresses, which most guests love but occasionally a guest finds too firm.

📹SECURITY: A video doorbell is in place on the exterior of the entrance.

🚪ENTRANCE DETAILS: This unit's front door opens directly onto the main thoroughfare in Enterprise. Blinds provide complete privacy and street noise has not been a significant concern to past guests.

🪟VENTILATION: This condo doesn't have any windows that can be opened. We account for this in 3 ways, 1) a ductless AC/Heat mini split, 2) ceiling fan and 3) an air purifier.

🧺WASHER/DRYER: there is no washer/dryer on site. There is a laundromat about 2 blocks away and you we offer a wash/fold service as well (Details available in our guidebook).

📺 TV & STREAMING INFO
There’s a Smart TV ready for you to log in to your own apps like Netflix, Hulu, Prime, or Disney+.

Just a heads-up — there’s no cable or local channels. If you want live TV, you will need a service like Sling, Fubo, or YouTube TV.

The Perfect Hell's Canyon Base Camp

We are Washingtonians from "west of the mountains" and had never visited eastern Oregon. Our apartment in Enterprise's historic Litch Hotel provided the perfect base camp for our three-day exploration of the area. The apartment had everything we (and dog) needed - and more, including a sauna tastefully built into a room accessed via a bank vault door. When we first entered the apartment, "my wife said, "do we have this whole place?!" Despite its main street location, the apartment was very quiet and peaceful. Parking on the street was easy, and there is a public EV charger on the Court House grounds across the street. All within one block are a really good book shop, bakery, deli, and coffee shop. There is also a Safeway a 5-minute drive away. We will be back.

Unit was as listed. Clean, decorated nicely, stocked well with linens and kitchen accessories, communication was great. Last minute booking with no regrets. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This rental was amazing. My wife and I really enjoyed the Sauna and the location. Even with the technical difficulties that I had with VRBO you were able to take care of them quickly and efficiently. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

This is a terrific place. Very well thought out renovations. A sauna! We've recommended this to a few others. Very close to the Tram & Lake Wallowa. Do not pass this up. There are also larger units too that look very very nice. The attention to detail and a mix of modern and comfortable furnishings were not lost on us.

Our stay in Enterprise at Ruby Peak (Eagle Cap Vacation Rentals) was nothing short of AMAZING. Rental is very comfortable from furnishings to all the well curated amenities, we felt right at home. The communication and ease of access made the entire process seamless. We are excited to return to the Enterprise area to explore more and check out another Eagle Cap rentals!

WOW!!!

What an awesome stay in an awesome room! We loved being right there in the heart of downtown. Just open the door and you're on the sidewalk. No check in, just put in the door code and presto you're inside. The room was very clean and updated. The owners thought of everything you'd need and also for your pet! There was plenty of coffee, popcorn, cocoa, blankets, towels and the kitchen has it all. We had a full size fridge and stove and gorgeous sink and counters. Big 65" TV. Remote controls for everything including the blinds. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. These guys were also easy to contact and very hospitable. Thanks guys!
