Little East Lake Escape, LODGE

Escape to this oasis in the heart of Itasca County Lake Country on ATV and Snowmobile Trails!

This Lodge in the deep woods is tucked down scenic country roads between two lakes. Watch the wildlife walk past from the comfort of the porch or deck; or snuggle up inside to take advantage of views of the lake and all manner of wildlife through the wide windows.

Cell service is limited but we have excellent Wi-Fi for just the right amount of connection.

The Escape consists of two lodgings, grand four bedroom Lodge and the cozy two bedroom Cabin. We have separate listings for each. The Lodge an cabin sit on opposite ends of the Escape property, far enough apart to provide quiet and privacy if a different group is staying at the Cabin.

Escape from it all - Cell Service is extremely limited. The Lodge does have good WIFI available. The residents of the cabin may access it from time to time from the front porch/carport area.

The Entire Lodge and it`s amenities are included...please make yourself at home! You will have easy access with a keypad for self check-in.

Guests have full access to the entire Lodge, front porch & Carport, back decks and all outdoor spaces with the exception of the spaces directly adjacent to the Cabin. The breezeway and porch attached to the Lodge will be occasionally shared by guests in the Cabin.

The garage attached to the Lodge and the detached garage space are not available for guest use.

Please let me know if there is anything you need. It is my goal that this space be an escape and retreat for you however I am available at all times for emergencies and during standard hours to answer and resolve any non-emergency issues.

It is extremely helpful to have good contact information available for a member of your party in the event I need to contact you due to issue resolution etc. As the cell service at the Lodge is limited I will do my best to notify you ahead of time if we need to be on site for any reason but please understand that may not be possible. We will keep any disruptions to an absolute minimum.

● The Escape is located in a peaceful & quiet lake community.
● All guests staying at the Escape must be considerate of others in the neighboring area. Noise disturbances will not be tolerated.(quiet hours are between 10pm-7am).
● Be considerate of the shared roadways and private driveway between the Escape and the trails. Refrain from driving that could cause damage to the roads.
**If damage is discovered additional fees will be assessed

Little East Lake Escape consists of two lodgings. The Lodge and the Cabin - if you have a larger group (up to 14 people) and would like to rent both please contact me regarding a discount on the rental of the Cabin.

Little East Lake Escape is:
● Just 2.5 miles to the Bigfork and Balsam (B&B) ATV Trail Connection / Cameron Lake Snowmobile Trail
● 25 minutes up Scenic Hwy 7 to Bigfork, MN
● 35 minutes to pristine Marcell, MN
● Enjoy a cozy fire in one of the indoor fireplaces or the outdoor fire pit
● Take in the views of East Lake and Little East Lake
● Launch your favorite paddling watercraft from the private dock on Little East Lake
● The Escape borders 200 acres of public land to the south perfect for hiking and hunting adventures
● Surrounded by quiet, undisturbed lakes with undiscovered fishing opportunities

● The Sauna is large enough for several people to enjoy together however it does require some time to heat up entirely

● Shorter or longer stay options sometimes available upon request, cleansing fees will be adjusted accordingly. Contact us for more information!

● Extra guest fees will be charged if more than noted guests stay the night as cleaning/laundry costs go up

● Smoking is allowed outdoors only. Please dispose of butts responsibly (if debris is found, and cleaned up by our crew, guest will be charged accordingly)

● Please remove shoes when you enter the Lodge

● Dogs are welcome for an additional fee up to four dogs in the Lodge. Please send an inquiry to make arrangements. Unregistered dogs will we assess the standard fee + an additional $50 registration fee

● We love having your entire group stay including the kids so please be be aware of safety around the lake as well as some cleaning supplies under each of the sinks & in the closet across from the laundry room

● Please be sure to review all house rules when booking!

● Please don`t hesitate to ask us any questions about the area or for more info! We are here to make your stay as enjoyable as possible!

● All guests staying at the Escape must be considerate of others in the neighboring area. Noise disturbances will not be tolerated.(quiet hours are between 10pm-7am).
**Please be conscientious of giving our neighbors their space. They have marked their property lines with no trespassing signs, if you have any questions about this please reach out immediately. Our lake access is just east of the Lodge, the lake behind the cabin is not accessible to our guests, that shoreline is private property. Thank-you!

● No fireworks of any kind.

● We love having your entire group stay including the kids so please be be aware of safety around the lake, fireplace and fire pit as well as some cleaning supplies under each of the sinks & in the laundry room

● Extra guest fees will be charged if more than noted guests stay the night as cleaning/laundry costs go up

● Parties or events must be approved and a deposit will be required. Please contact me for more information.

● Smoking is allowed outdoors only. Please dispose of butts responsibly (if debris is found, and cleaned up by our crew, guest will be charged accordingly)

● Please remove shoes when you enter the Lodge & leave by the front door.

● Use only firewood that is provided or firewood you purchase. ABSOLUTELY NO cutting of firewood on the property or adjacent properties is allowed. No burning of trash or any other materials besides firewood. Keep all outdoor fires within the fire ring and no more than five feet tall.

● CLEAN UP thoroughly after any fish or game cleaning activities. Dispose of entrails away from the Lodge. Absolutely no fish or game disposal in the trash cans or in the Little East Lake Escape property - Please cooperate with this as it draws in unwanted animal activity that can be extremely destructive. A $200 fee will be charged for any evidence of breach of this rule.

● Dogs are welcome for an additional fee up to two dogs in the cabin. Please send an inquiry to make arrangements. Unregistered dogs will we assess the standard fee + an additional $50 registration fee

● Guests interested in booking longer than two weeks will be required to allow our cleaners to access and clean the Lodge every two weeks for the duration of your stay. Schedule for cleaning can be discussed and a mutually agreeable time selected.
