This freshly remodeled, designer inspired getaway on the top floor with large deck out front is the perfect setting to watch the dolphins play. Tiki bar and pier out over the ocean is directly across the street. We are also just a few short miles from the downtown Wilmington river walk which was just voted 2nd best in the USA! Best view of the fireworks every Thursday night. Granite counter tops with top of the line stainless appliances for your dining pleasure. Pure water dispenser for drinking and cooking. Flat screen smart TV's with and leather recliners for relaxation after a day of swimming. King size bed in master size bedroom with queen sleeper in living area. Full size bed in the sleep alcove. Everything you need is supplied including linens and towels. A deck off the master for viewing the marsh and sunsets. Relax poolside in our brand new pool and deck area. The new deck is made from composite decking so there are no more splinters or nails to worry about, and the sunsets over the marsh are stunning. Outdoor grills provided for your barbecue pleasure! Just steps from the intracoastal waterway where you can launch a kayak or fish, and right across the street from the pier where fishing for king mackerel or grouper is awesome! Surfing is also allowed in the zone north of the pier and the waves can be challenging for the most experienced of surfers. Live music at the boardwalk almost every night with arcades and rides to keep the younger visitors busy while Mom and Dad can enjoy the local flavors, including the local brews from our many nearby craft breweries. Renting a street legal golf cart, you can explore all the beach has to offer at a leisurely pace, or you can rent a 4 wheel drive Jeep to explore some of the last sandy beaches on the entire East coast allowing motorized vehicles. I also offer free boat parking should you bring one. Visit the state park and explore the only area in the world where Venus flytraps grow in their natural habitat, along with other species of carnivorous plants. Carolina Beach has been voted one of the top 10 beaches in the USA which should be ample reason to come and stay here so you can see for yourself and agree. During peak season, only weekly reservations from Saturday to Saturday, and 5 day stays are also accepted between Saturday to Saturday in order to insure a full week for everyone. Off season monthly rentals are available. Clean water, smooth white sandy beaches are the reasons why I live here too.

Grand Beach Get Away

This is a nice beach property with plenty of beach flavor and decor. Very comfortable accommodations and very easy beach access. The pictures posted on verbo are exactly the way it is.

Family Vacation

We had a great time in our vacation. We were very close to the beach, the kids enjoyed the pool and we were close to other things for the them to do such as the USS North Carolina Battle Ship. The location of the condo was perfect. The locals were all super helpful and told us all the great places to eat. Britz Doughnuts was amazing! The condo was pet friendly also!!

The space accommodated our family of four. Everything we needed to cook meals was there. The view is beautiful! It’s on the third floor, but the steps aren’t steep, so manageable. The beach is a very short walk, with the pier right there where we enjoyed cocktails, ice cream, and food. Having the boardwalk and shops only a mile away is an added bonus!

So-so

I’m sure this review will come with a defensive rebuttal as all the other negative reviews do here but I have truly never had such a strange host experience in my life. Condo was fine, nicely decorated and had all the fixings of the kitchen and a great view. The bed was uncomfortable so we ended up using the couches instead which wasn’t ideal but doable. Check in process and all communication was done via text which made me uncomfortable as there would be no record with VRBO of conversations and I later learned why. Upon check in, I had to sign a hand written agreement (literally on a piece of paper?) saying to leave it as I got it with no specific directions regarding what the expectations were. We did not wash our sheets as the listing states their cleaning practices are that they wash the linens and towels at a certain temperature and sanitize between visits. Driving home I received a text stating “ So when you ask me what you needed to do when you checked out and I told you to leave it like you found it you chose not to do any laundry or cleaning so now there will be a charge for cleaning and laundry” 1) I never asked, I followed the ad. 2) I’ve never had a host speak to me so condescendingly We cleaned the best we could with the cleaning equipment we had provided to us- which was outdated and low quality. We made the mistake of assuming they followed the cleaning procedures they have advertised and will pay for it. Oh well. I hope they at least fix the bed.

This is not going to be a "defensive rebuttal" but a statement of facts. The bed was moved by the guests so the siderail disengaged and dropped about an inch. A check in sheet is to be filled out and texted back so there are no questions as to whether or not the condo is up to par. My guests checked all items and signed off with no problems noted. (not even the bed). Guests never read rule sheet requiring laundry to be done. Direct communications are necessary between host and guest to expedite any concerns.

Excellent location!

The location of the condo is unbeatable! Quick walk to beach and pool. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the waves, birds, and beachgoers. Close to Freeman Park and CB pier, so we could take our dogs. Busier on the weekends, but pretty quiet during the week. A few things to know before you go: Pros: My husband, our two daughters (14 and 11) and I had plenty of room. Kitchen was well stocked for any cooking we needed to do. Towels were provided. Decorated nicely. Cons: The balconies could use some work and cleaning up. The washer/dryer need replacing. Carpet in bedroom needs replaced. Be prepared to do light cleaning before checking out since you do not pay cleaning fee. Overall, this unit was nice and Corey provided everything we needed for our stay.

nice beach vacation

Condo has a great location, right across street from beach access with a beautiful view from deck.. the only downside of having that view is because it means condo is top level (3rd story) and there are lots of stairs... very tiring for us and the dogs at the end of long beach days. But overall, great stay... very easy access to beach and comfortable condo. Great wifi speeds so we could WFH as needed.

My husband, dachshund and I had a great time staying at this property. The listing was accurate and a very short walk to Freeman park. Corey was great to talk with and we would absolutely love to stay here again!

Great pet friendly condo

Unit was clean, lots of light, even better view of the ocean than pics suggested. Loved the hand painted bathroom mural. Beach access couldn’t be easier!

Property Manager took care of issues and made our stay enjoyable!

When we first arrived, we did not have the correct code for the door at the condo. However, Corey answered me right away and gave me the correct code. There were some issues when we got there: no parking permit, food left in the microwave, hole in the comforter, no extra toilet paper or paper towels. However, Corey made sure to get us a parking permit, a new comforter, more toilet paper & paper towels as quickly as possible, even though he lived an hour away from the property. Corey was very responsive and made sure we had a great, comfortable stay!

Great spot for a quick getaway!

This place is wonderful for a long weekend or even a week! I do not recommend longer stays just because there isn't much room for storage. You can't beat the location! Across the street from the beach, fantast breezes, and I could hear the ocean from the couch. Furniture is comfortable. Linens and towels were provided and were clean. Host was very responsive to internet issues. Overall, great trip! A few notes to consider: 1. A bit more attention to cleaning. I had to FULLY clean when I got there, but I did check in early, so that may have limited the hosts. I think it is their home. 2. There is a washer dryer on the back porch that could use some updating. It is nearly impossible to tell drying settings. 3. I recommend setting roku up as roku guest so we don't have to go back and sign out of everything. 4. The fishbowl bathroom sink is cute, but impractical. The kids will love it, but anticipate a wipe down each time you use it. :)

Nice restful spot for couple with dogs

The location is good. After a week, we still weren't ready to leave to go home. It has a nice view of the ocean across the street. The balcony, especially, has a nice view with a high-top table. The condo is generally clean but could benefit from a deep clean to get dust, etc. from the out-of-reach areas.

Awesome location, incredible views

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. We appreciated that pets were allowed, and our two dogs had so much fun at the beach as well as hanging out on the deck and smelling the sea air. I was recovering from surgery, and this was a great place to do it. The condo was well equipped, with almost everything you'd need (a blow dryer in the bathroom would be a great addition). I would recommend the mattress be replaced. It was so firm that I couldn't sleep on it. The couch in the living room was very comfortable and you could hear the waves!

Amazing view

We had a great vacation! Property was clean upon arrival. We've never stayed as long nor stayed in a condo so that made it feel more like home. Condo was decorated nicely, beachy but homey. Having a nice size kitchen was nice too. Washer/dryer is an added bonus just in case it's needed. The three flights of stairs was a little rough but manageable. The king bed could definitely use a replacement but could've been worse. Overall I loved the place and location.

Lovely stay

Beautiful view ocean front and marsh view from the bedroom. Unit was decorated with lovely hand painted murals. The only thing is that the 3 flights of stairs was hard on our older dog, who otherwise had a great time. We enjoyed our much needed stay in NC. Thank you.

Wonderful time at the seashore

My family and I had a wonderful time at this location. We felt welcome by the local people and condo neighbors. People were friendly all around. The beach is close enough that you don't need to pack a huge amount and camp out all day. You can easily go back to the house eat lunch and go back or use the pool located just 50 feet away by the green marshlands. We loved sitting outside and watching the waves and surfers. There are a lot of things to do there, fishing, state parks and Wilmington has museums and a great Waterpark activity center. Corey was readily available for any questions we had regarding the property. We highly recommend this place.

Great location!

This was the first vacation my sister and I have taken together. We picked this right beach and the right place to stay. What a lovely view and great breezes! The condo was well furnished. I particularly appreciated the a comfortable bed. The condo was clean, colorful, and beachy. I would recommend this condo without reservation, and will definitely rent it again. Thank you for helping to create memories!

Family Vacation.

Loved the view. It is excellent. Cory was very responsive fixing an issue with tv. As a family we had a total of 4 units rented across the street since there was 35 + of us. Thankfully our unit was small and quiet. The rating given for cleanliness was cleaning staff issue. They didnt do their job.Hopefully that will be resolved. Thank you Cory for allowing us to enjoy a week in the sun. Diane

Nice Quiet and Relaxing

If you are looking for a quiet get away this is the place. We met several permanent residents and everyone was super nice. The pool was never crowded and the beach assess was just across the street. We could watch the surfers from our balcony while enjoying the breeze. Love this area and can’t wait to go back!

Vacation nightmare

Vacation nightmare! Would never rent again! Pics on line looked great. Unit was not cleaned, kitchen sink was filthy, floors were not vacuumed, neither TV worked. Contacted owner and did not correct problem, then contacted vrbo and they could not help either slept on sofa and woke up with swollen face from spider bite. Stayed 1 night and contacted victory beach vacation rentals which had a nice clean unit. We left and had a great week after getting out of this rental. Do not rent this place if you are looking for a clean well maintained rental.

I don't understand why someone would leave a negative review without contacting the owners first to discuss any problems they may be having. The condo is professionally cleaned after each guest departs with special attention given for sanitizing. I explained the remotes to them and even offered to send someone to show them how to operate Roku but they had finally figured it out. I don't know why she said she slept on the sofa when there is a king bed in the bedroom. They also stayed the full week since my cleaning crew had to clean and re-stock the condo on Saturday morning and vacuum twice to pick up the hair left by their dog.. The association exterminates on a monthly basis and had just done so on the day of their arrival. She never told me of any other issues besides the TV. When I inspected the unit after they had left, I found that they had moved a heavy dresser to unplug the TV and disconnect the cable wire. I don't know why they would have done that but after reconnecting everything (and moving the dresser back) the TV worked perfectly. I work very hard to provide my guests with the best beach experience there is to offer and my reviews show it.
