Welcome to your own slice of the Caribbean jungle — a place where mornings begin with the sound of howler monkeys (congos) and evenings fade into ocean breezes beneath a moonlit sky.

Located in the up-and-coming neighborhood of Playa Negra, just a 7-minute drive from downtown Puerto Viejo, the home offers quiet seclusion while keeping you close to everything the area has to offer. (Please note: there may occasionally be light construction noise in the neighborhood.)

This isn’t your average rental — it’s a true home.

After living here for three years, I’ve filled it with comforts, warmth, and thoughtful touches that most short-term rentals simply don’t have. You’ll feel the difference — everything here was designed to be lived in and loved.

The space is unique and art-filled, an eccentric haven surrounded by tropical gardens and a spacious fenced yard. With one bedroom and two bathrooms, it’s peaceful, private, and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.

You’re close to incredible beaches, markets, cafés, and jungle adventures — yet far enough to feel completely at ease.

🚭 Smoking / Fumar outside only

A $200 USD (₡100,000 CRC) cleaning fee will be charged for smoking indoors.
Se cobrará una tarifa de limpieza de $200 USD (₡100,000 colones costarricenses) por fumar dentro de la propiedad.

🐾 Pets / Mascotas

Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
A $40 USD (₡20,000 CRC) fee will apply if pet waste is left on the property.
Los huéspedes son responsables de limpiar después de sus mascotas.
Se aplicará una tarifa de $40 USD (₡20,000 colones costarricenses) si se deja desecho de mascotas en la propiedad.

🔑 Lost Key Fob or Gate Remote / Control Remoto o Llavero Perdido

A $90 USD (₡45,000 CRC) replacement fee will be charged for a lost or unreturned key fob or gate remote.
Se cobrará una tarifa de reemplazo de $90 USD (₡45,000 colones costarricenses) por pérdida o no devolución del control remoto del portón o llavero electrónico.

A $30 USD (₡15,000 CRC) replacement fee will be charged for each lost or unreturned key.
Se cobrará una tarifa de reemplazo de $30 USD (₡15,000 colones costarricenses) por cada llave perdida o no devuelta.
