On a side note, we encourage all prospective guests to request the specific location and floor plan details of homes. Unfortunately there are properties that have misrepresented their proximity to the beach, and have displayed their homes as beachfront, while still others have put their homes in the private and beautiful gates of Puenta Ballena when they are miles away from our community. Casa Contessa is on row 3 from the ocean and is just a short walk to putting your feet in the fabulous Sea of Cortez.

For added security, Casa Contessa is equipped with four exterior Ring cameras and one indoor entry-facing camera (which can be unplugged and turned toward the wall at your discretion). Our gated neighborhood is also monitored by 21 community security cameras operating 24/7.

Amazing Get Away/Birthday

The property was in great shape and the views were outstanding. We were able to get around to see all that Cabo had to offer and boy was that a lot. The property owners and their team (Concierge, Chef, Ride Service etc) were 1st class. We were totally pampered!!!

Wonderful time in Cabo!

Beautiful property that is well equipped and has amazing views. We particularly loved being able to see whales from the back patio while we sipped our morning coffee or swam in the pool. All of our requests were fulfilled timely with excellent service from all parties that worked to ensure we had a wonderful stay (property owners, concierge, property mgr, and housekeeping).

Real Paradise

Simply perfect! Diane's home is impeccable - new, spacious, comfortable and of the highest quality. The location is excellent, and the experience was even better thanks to Baruch, s "house manager"attention and hospitality. The house provides access to a beach club where we had breakfast and did our morning workouts. The small private beach along the coast is a peaceful area to relax. We can't wait to go back!

Cabo never disappoints

Casa Contessa is a beautiful home in the always perfect Punta Ballena. Diane, the owner went out of her way to help us when a few guests had specific laundry needs which we appreciated and the home was comfortable and suited every need. We would definitely stay again and look forward to our next trip to Cabo!

Amazing property!!

Came for a quick birthday trip with friends. The property is absolutely beautiful! The pool was amazing and when it got a little cold, we were able to jump into the hot tub. Baruch was extremely helpful in booking anything that we needed, even last minute requests. He was quick to help with any questions we had. The house was very clean and well stocked. The rooms were large and absolutely stunning. I would highly recommend staying here!

If I could give it ten stars I would. Property was beautiful, great location, pictures were very accurate, but its even better than it looks. Incredible stay in paradise! Even better service.

This was a vacation to remember, and we will definitely be back. From the moment of the booking, the owner, Dianne, was beyond helpful. She immediately put un in contact with their concierge, and gave us some quick tips on how to make the most of the stay. The home was even better than expected, and no detail was overlooked. We were celebrating my 40th birthday, and I couldn't picture a better venue. The house is built for entertainment, and we loved that there were multiple areas that were just perfect for entertainment. We especially loved the pool/hot tub, the outdoor kitchen, and the cozy firepit! All of the rooms were perfect, and everybody was satisfied with their space. The property is located in an incredibly safe area, with access to trails, beach, and a beautiful beach club! We LOVED our housekeeper Noemi, and the service she provided was incredible. We felt so taken care of by her while we were there. Just counting down the days to go back! Thanks, Dianne for your incredible hospitality!

Fabulous family get-away!!!

We visited Casa Contessa in March with family friends. Diane was beyond helpful in the months and weeks leading up to the vacation, offering suggestions for dining and activities for our kids age. The property was beautiful and exquisitely maintained. The bedrooms are decorated extremely well and everything is well stocked. The Xbox and of course the pool were favorites with the kids and they enjoyed s'mores at the fire pit and eating outside every day. One thing I recommend is getting a golf cart. We drove all around and the kids thought this was great fun. It is definitely walkable but with kids (who regularly forget things at the house) it was useful and fun. The whole resort felt so safe and friendly. We walked a lot, played tennis, spent time at the gorgeous beach club and did a lot off property too. Diane and concierge Baruch were always reachable for any questions or problems and we felt very welcomed by them. It was a great time and we would definitely return. Thanks Diane and crew!

Beautiful home and neighborhood

Beautiful house, especially the backyard. The property manager was very attentive, as were the owners. However, it was off putting to see an indoor camera that we noticed a few days in, as my husband was standing in front of it wearing only a towel, since he came out of the shower to ask me to help adjust the water. The camera was aimed at the front door, but could see us in the hall as we passed to and fro. I texted the owner because this made me uncomfortable, especially since the camera can hear our conversations. I would have written it off, but I was offended at their response, which was that we are the first people in 15 years to complain about it. That's not really the point, and I feel that our privacy was violated, and cameras are not allowed inside properties per VRBO terms. We ended up unplugging it. They also had an exterior camera at the front door, so not sure why the interior one was necessary, and this is a double gated community with strict security. She said that they usually tell their guests but we were not told. Even if I had been told I would have unplugged it. The only other complaint was that there was a big mark up on some of the groceries. I thought that we were being charged only a delivery fee of $50. Our bill was so high that I checked some prices at the store down the street and found that liquor, in particular, was extremely marked up, so you might do better purchasing that on your own.

Where you stay on your vacation is as important as where you go. If Cabo San Lucas is where you choose to vacation, you can't find a better place to stay anywhere in Cabo. This Villa is top of the line in every respect. It is set in a garden paradise with spectacular views of the ocean. To give you a reference... if it were a car it would be a Rolls Royce.

Fabulous Time

From the moment we arrived at the property it was everything we had hoped for. The outdoor living area was spectacular. Infinity pool, swim up bar, plenty of lounge chairs. The interior of the hose was just as great. The owners were very easy to deal with and always available to answer any questions. They were even so nice to have flowers and a cake delivered to the house for my wifes birthday. Top Notch!

Our family could not believe our eyes when we arrived to Casa Contessa. This villa is very custom from head to toe. We loved the fire pit and enjoyed a few too many bottles of wine while doing so. Great trip, the best!

Beautiful, well appointed villa. Great for a big group!

Our group of 4 couples really enjoyed our stay at Casa Contessa! The home is lovely with comfortable bedrooms and plenty of space. The kitchen was very well stocked with just about anything you could need. I would highly recommend using the Esperanza spa! It’s one of the best I’ve been to. Also, the pool at the beach club was great for sitting by the pool and ordering lunch. Their sushi was amazing! I would definitely recommend Casa Contessa to anyone traveling to Cabo! The owners were a pleasure to work with and checked in on us to make sure everything was going ok.

We had a fabulous time at gorgeous home!

This is a gorgeous home with a fantastic location. The photos on the listing simply do not do justice to the real beauty and impeccable quality of everything Casa Contessa delivered. Our family agreed that this was our most favorite vacation and we plan to return again this summer. Dianne (the owner) was so nice and helpful and her staff on-site are very professional and attentive. We can’t wait until June to arrive as we are planning to stay in her larger villa Casa Stephens located directly across the street.

WOW!! Exceeded All Expectations...

Casa Contessa is A-W-E-S-O-M-E ! ! Totally exceeded our expectations and the photos do not do this place justice. We were in Cabo for a family retreat and everybody had plenty of space with their own individual bathrooms/showers. Dianne (owner) was very responsive to our requests as well as the staff who work for them. We all enjoyed the BBQ and outdoor kitchen as well as the fire pit in the evenings with a few bottles of wine. Delightful! We will most certainly be back with a larger group next time since the owners have another 6 bedroom villa directly across the street that is also amazing. We have rented other properties in Cabo and around the world and Casa Contessa is #1 by far.

Incredible home! We can’t wait to go back!

We just got home from a week long stay at Casa Contessa. There was 9 of us(5 adults and 4 children). This was my fourth time staying in Cabo with my family and it was by far the best! The home is gorgeous and the pool and jacuzzi were absolutely phenomenal! Dianne was a gem to work with and she called us the night we arrived to see how things were going. The concierge Baruch was extradionary!!! He brought us groceries, set up transportation, and even coordinated for us to have a Thanksgiving dinner prepared for us by a chef. Noeme the housekeeper was very friendly and did a wonderful job keeping the home clean during our stay. The Punta Ballena Beach Club as always is incredible! We will be back soon! Exceeded all of our expectations

Our trip to Cabo staying at Casa Contessa was the most relaxing memorable vacation to date. Our dear friends rented Casa Stephens and we were lucky to rent Casa Contessa a stones throw away. We brought our two teenage daughters and they each brought a friend. The concierge service was fabulous and he helped us arrange the most fabulous excursions. My younger daughter used the wifi and completed an online course so everyone was HAPPY. The bedrooms were spacious and everyone was happy. We ended up doing quite a bit of walking around the property and enjoyed all the amenities. The gym, restaurants and features of the Esperanza were fabulous. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family!!!

WONDERFUL RENTAL IN AN IDYLLIC LOCATION!

Our family of six adults stayed at Casa Contessa in mid February, and thoroughly enjoyed it! The home is beautiful, immaculate, spread out enough to afford privacy for all, and has everything you could need. The outdoor space is ideal, and the neighborhood and surrounding resort is quiet and very safe. Based on reviews I read, we arranged for a golf cart, which was waiting for us upon arrival. We used it daily, and it proved very convenient for trips to the resort restaurants, pool, and the residents' beach club. The pools at both the beach club and the resort were beautiful and surprisingly uncrowded. The concierge arranged for rental cars as well, and the agency delivered the vehicles to the villa, and picked them up on our last day there. The concierge provided information on activities in advance, and we booked some of the suggested activities. We had an excellent meal prepared for us at the villa by a staff of four. We scheduled a sunset photography session on the beach at Esperanza with Sara Richardson, a local Cabo phtotographer. I highly recommend her, she is lovely (www.sararichardsonphoto.com). Four of us went on a walking foodie tour with approximately 7 stops and enjoyed it (Juan More Taco). I can't imagine a more perfect rental experience. Dianne has set the bar high!

Fantastic house!

This was our 3rd time in Cabo and the first time we went the VRBO route. There were 10 of us (5 couples) that stayed at Casa Stephens and all I can say is "Wow!" The property was fantastic--clean, well stocked and with pretty much the best view of the ocean you can ask for. We were whale watching from our patio/pool/hot tub sipping cocktails! The owners and concierge, Baruch, were very easy to work with and very attentive to our needs. We took advantage of the "in-home" spa service (3 massages, 2 facials and a pedicure) and also had an excellent experience with that company. We had another company come in and cook for us one night and that was great as well--prep, cooking and clean up all done for you! The concierge can facilitate all of that with ease. Overall, I high recommend this house (as well as access to a stunning beach club and access to the upper pools as Esperanza) and we all hope to make it back there soon!

Magnificent property

It was just a getaway weekend with the family, and it became an incredible experience. The house is perfect, the furniture exquisite.... Technology stuff wifi/music sound/tv/cable/etc on a great condition The cleaning staff was impecable with their work The concierge extremely helpful

Great house for a family or friends

This was our 4th time in Cabo and we have had a different house each time. We had 8 adults and 3 toddlers in the house and there was plenty of room. We especially liked the house being on one floor and all the space utilized. The layout of the house gave everyone privacy and it was comfortable. The outside area was fantastic and we LOVED the hot tub and outdoor kitchen area. The pool was perfect for our group as it had a shallow end and ledge around the pool so all ideal for our toddlers. The kitchen was equipped and the maid service wonderful. We had a golf cart which is a good idea as the house is located farther away from the resort. And, the view....what can we say? We treasured our time there in this beautiful home and thank the owners for being so gracious, accommodating and easy to work with.

Beautiful Home; Great Stay

I rented this villa for my groomsmen when I got married at the Esperanza next door. We also rented the Stephens other home next door, Casa Stephens, for the bridesmaids. The good stuff: - amazing owners - easy to work with! - the place is huge with plenty of room for 10 people - inside/outside living - great pool - nicely furnished - best location - walking distance to Esperanza resort, quick taxi ride to downtown - transportation to and from the airport - daily cleaning by their amazing maid - concierge for pre-arrival shopping - sound system throughout the house - bathrooms for each room The bad stuff - no complaints!

Retreat

We held a Business Retreat at this beautiful home. It was the perfect retreat for our group. The house is spacious and has all the modern day amenities while still having the relaxing feeling of Cabo. It was great to meet around the infinity pool and the firepit at night. And there is nothing like listening to smoothing sounds of the ocean as you fall asleep. It was the perfect place to plan out our goals for our business while being able to fully relax. Dianne was always responsive and strives to make sure you stay is special. Baruch, the concierge was always just a phone call away and checked in on us regularly. We can not wait to enjoy another retreat in paradise. Margarita please...

House in Esperanza

Great home in a very nice location in the Esperanza Villas. Common rooms--Kitchen, Dining and Living are spacious and very comfortalble. Outside patios, Barbecue, Pool and Hot tub are well located on the property and great for either relaxing or entertaining. Fire Pit is a real Bonus for cool evednings.

David & Dianne Stephens..They met while attending college and competing in Track & Field for Cal State Northridge. David competed in the Javelin Throw and High Jump and Dianne ran the 10,000 Meters. They both graduated in 1986 and in 1987 moved to Knoxville Tennessee where Dianne earned her Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology and David coached and trained UT High Jumpers and Javelin Throwers. Dianne is an ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) certified personal trainer...let us know if you want to take a small group to Cabo for a "Top Shelf" fitness vacation. David continued his Track & Field career and competed for the New York Athletic Club internationally from 1987 through 1996 making several USA teams including 1988 and 1996 Olympic Teams. David & Dianne now reside in Northern Virginia where David is the Chief Sales Officer of BYOS, Inc. and Dianne runs their vacation rental business.

Cocina Del Mar offers daily breakfast buffet that is quite nice. Additionally, "Toro Latin Kitchen Restaurant" is also on-property (dinner only) and provides a unique, fine dining experience.

Our community also has two tennis, three pickle ball courts, and a 2 mile nature walking path that is groomed daily. If you prefer to walk on our safe streets, our community is very low density with very little vehicle traffic. If you choose to do "David's Morning Walk", the map that outlines this 3 mile walk is available in the villa. For those who prefer the gym, just a 5 minute walk to our members only ocean front gym and beach club offers spectacular ocean views.
