Nestled in a stunning, secluded setting, this charming three-bedroom home sleeps up to 12 guests and overlooks its own private lake. Bordering the breathtaking Mammoth Cave National Park, you’ll enjoy both privacy and proximity to a wide range of outdoor adventures.

Just minutes from the National Park’s top attractions—including kayaking, cave tours, hiking, and horseback riding—you’re also close to Shady Hollow Golf Course, Nolin Lake, and the Blue Holler Off-Road ATV Park. Looking for more to explore? Bowling Green, KY is only 45 minutes away and home to the National Corvette Museum, Lost River Cave, plus plenty of shopping and dining options.

The Hidden Hideaway Features:

To make your stay more comfortable, we provide initial supplies of dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, and paper towels. Please bring your own HE laundry detergent. Note: There is no dishwasher on site, so we recommend bringing paper plates for easy cleanup.

Whether you're here for adventure or relaxation, The Hidden Hideaway is your perfect escape. Watch the sun sparkle on the lake from the porch swing, unwind by the campfire, and take in the starry night sky.

The house was very well maintained and clean. It had about everything you could want, and the hot tub and pond were great additions. Communication with the owners was excellent and we were even allowed to check in a bit early as we arrived earlier than expected. Truly a wonderful retreat!

We loved this house. There was so much to do on the grounds. It is a great place for families with kids. We loved the huge yard and privacy. The views, especially the lake, were incredible. I would definitely go back with my family.

This house and property is outstanding! Our grandchildren had a great time! The only issue we had was the air conditioning unit upstairs was not working great and the mattress on the upstairs bed was not great. However, the house setting, cleanliness, etc. made up for this. It was great!

The morning views and baking!

Our stay at the Hidden hideaway was fantastic! We were two families, with a total of 9 people and we all had plenty of space! The kids loved the bunk bed room and the "kids space" upstairs. The grown-ups loved the outside space and the wonderful views. The kitchen had everything I needed to bake yummy breakfasts each day. We made watermelon sorbet too, yay blenders! Hidden Hideaway is a fantastic place to chill, slow down a bit, and enjoy time with friends and family. The views from the lake were incredible. Great spot for exploring Mammoth Cave. Check to see if the ferry is running, it was damaged during flooding in early spring 2025. We did our research and it was not a problem for us! We loved our time here and look forward to returning. Thank you!

Amazing house and property

The house was very clean and very nice. The kids loved the bunk room. But the best part was the property and view of the beautiful pond and trees. This place was a sanctuary and we loved every minute of it.

Lovely private home near Mammoth Cave

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house near Mammoth Cave! The property is absolutely stunning, with a lovely fire pit that we enjoyed, and a peaceful private lake that added to the serene atmosphere. The house itself was gorgeous—spacious, clean, and very well-maintained. We really appreciated the tranquil surroundings and the opportunity to unwind in such a beautiful setting. The only downside was the limited space for eating inside, and unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate, so we couldn’t take advantage of the outdoor dining area. Despite this, we still had an incredible time and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Five stars all around!

Great getaway

We were looking for a quiet place to enjoy nature and relax away from the city for a while. This place was wonderful. We got all of that and more on top of being able to enjoy Mammoth Cave for a few days. The property is comfortable and well maintained. We are already considering another visit.

Great rental home near Mammoth Cave

We were a group of 8 (2 families each with tween/teen girls). We all found the home to be modern, comfortable, and clean. Plenty of space for us all. Great kitchen with everything needed to cook meals. We all loved the grounds with the pretty pond and geese. We also enjoyed the fire pit .. perfect for s'mores! 10 minutes to Mammoth Cave National Park when the ferry is operating .. 45 minutes when it's not ( but the drive is pretty).

Awesome place

The description of this property is exactly as described. We had 9 people with us. Two people slept on a couch. One was by choice. We had plenty of room and enjoyed it so much. We may end up going back during warmer weather to take more advantage of the nice property.

Girls Weekend

The cabin was absolutely beautiful with plenty of space for the 6 of us. All beds were super comfy and the lux shower in the master bath was heavenly after a full day of hiking at Mammoth Cave. It was about 45mins to the park since the ferry was closed.

Absolutely Gorgeous

Loved the house. If I did not already live out in the country and not quite so far away then would come back every fall just to get away from it all. Nice relaxing last day of a 2 1/2 week vacation.

Nice property, issues management

The house is very nice, property is spacious, and everything was as described. There were two issues we had with our experience that made our stay pretty disappointing. The first issue is that the listing states there is a hot tub. My young kids were pretty excited about this and there simply was no hot tub or even jacuzzi on site. Not the end of the world, but I'm just not sure why you would put that on the listing if it's not true? The other bigger issue is that when we arrived to check in, the house was not clean. There were dirty/wet linens and towels that had been sitting in the laundry room for days (or weeks?) and the whole house smelled horrible. I had to call the property owners several times to get an answer and they did send someone out to clean the house. We had to pack all of our things back up and leave, so the house could be cleaned. This was a big inconvenience, as we had been out hiking all day and were ready to get in the A/C and relax for a moment. The property owner claimed they would give us a partial refund for this inconvenience, but it's been 3 weeks at this point, so I don't expect that will be happening.

Beautiful, Peaceful and Private!! You are within 10 minutes from so many activities. Cave tours, hiking, kayaking, Blue Holler ATV trail riding, Shady Hollow Golf course, Nolin Lake State Park & campground, Horse back riding guided trail rides, and so much more.
