The Cabin is 2 minutes away from Wax Marina giving access to Lake, Boat, Jet Ski, Kayak rentals for a day on the Lake for Fishing, Swimming. Less than 30 min driving distance to Mammoth Caves National Park, Hiking trails, horseback riding, Golf Course, Cub Run Cave and Kentucky Down under, Dinosaur park and more! šŸŒ„

- This Cabin Sleeps 11 guests, has 6 beds that include 3 Queen Beds, living room sofa turning into Queen Bed, a rollaway twin and 2 Twin Beds with a trundle bed in living room area 2 overlooking the lake, and 2 full bath.

- The Cabin is fully furnished including free Wi-Fi.

- Fully Stocked Kitchen with everything you will need including a Dishwasher, Stove, Microwave, Oven, Full Size Refrigerator, 2 coffee makers, all the Bowls, Pans, Cookware, Blender, Toaster, Cups and etc.

- A stack Washer and Dryer unit is available. The property has two porches. The Front Porch has a Porch Swing along with 2 Adirondack Chairs and while the Back Porch is a screened in porch where you can sit and enjoy a meal or morning coffee.

The cabin and location were great, everything we needed was already there. Check-in and check-out were very easy and clearly explained. Very clean.. One thing to note: the supplied firewood is freshly cut and green, so bring extra fire starters if you plan on using the firepit. Overall, highly recommended. Go for it!

Our family had a wonderful time at this cabin. Its layout met our familyā€™s needs. It was clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked with the essentials. The property hosts were responsive, accommodating and kind. They made us feel at home and even checked in on us half way through our visit to make sure everything was going well. We did not use the jacuzzi or fire pit because it was too hot outside, however it was well kept and looked like a fun area to hang out. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again!

Memories!

Traveled to area to go to Mammoth Cave and spend time with family! We have 14 yo, 10yo and 4 yo whom absolutely loved their stay! Making sā€™mores was a blast!! Plenty of games and entertainment too! The loft aka tree house as kids called it was a hit!! Cabin was very well stocked with everything you would need! Only thing could have used a Tv on second floor for bedtimes!

Perfect place for a family!

Spacious and beautiful. We had plenty of room to play, eat, and sleep. Lots of board games and a couple of puzzles. I took my five children and had plenty of space for everyone to have their own area to play. My 12 year old absolutely loved the nook and took it as his own. They loved all of the peekaboo doors as well. I loved how easy it was to find everything I needed to cook our meals. During our stay we went to Mammoth Cave and Lost River Cave. But, if you plan a trip to the Lost River Cave definitely call ahead to make sure they are doing the boat tours that day before leaving. (We left our house super early in the morning the day of check-in) and tried to go to the Lost River Cave for a boat tour but it was flooded from the rain the night before. We did however make it there the day we checked out.

A wonderful lake spot!

What a great experience at the cabin! The home was well cared for and extremely clean. We stayed in the area to hike and visit mammoth cave. We cooked in both nights and loved the available grill and well stocked kitchen. The beds were clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit which overlooks the lake. This is a wonderful spot to get away from the world for a minute and relax. Great home and great host!

Beautiful cabin and setting

The cabin was exactly as described and pictured. It was spotlessly clean and well provisioned with comfortable beds and furniture. Only one small disappointment was the hot tub. It was a cold weekend in Kentucky and the hot tub could not keep the temperature up. But I would definitely stay again.

Cozy cabin getaway!

We just got back from a relaxing getaway at this adorable cabin! We were visiting Mammoth Cave NP with our kids and wanted a place to get away and unwind after hiking. This cabin was perfect! It was a bit of a drive to the park visitor center, especially with the parkā€™s ferry not running, but beautiful scenery along the way. This is definitely secluded, which we enjoyed for the privacy and didnā€™t mind since we brought our own groceries. We loved the layout and beautiful decor of the cabin, and the kids loved the games and little hideaway in the loft! The hot tub was a big plus! The owner was great to work with and very quick to respond to any questions ahead of our trip. We were also able to check in early which we greatly appreciated! The only downsides, if any, were that the furniture could be a bit more comfortable and it wasnā€™t quite as clean as we had hoped. We had to wash some of dishes before we used them and the bathroom needed a little extra cleaning. But we had a great time and enjoyed our cozy cabin getaway!

3 night get away

We enjoyed our 3 night stay. Even tho the property is close to the road, it feels very private and is a quiet and relaxing place. The big plus for us was that the master and downstairs bed were very comfortable-we didnā€™t try the loft one. And just a heads up that you are in a dry county

Definitely does not fit 10!

This is a small, cozy cabin about 50 minutes from Mammoth Cave National Park. It was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with ware and there were ample towels. The hot tub was new and clean and I appreciated the handle on the steps to get in/ out. The cabin is located in the middle of nowhere, which was fine with us! Just a couple things to note before your reservation; This cabin DOES NOT ACCOMMODATE 10 people!! There isnā€™t even seating for 10! I invited my parents and was so glad they didnā€™t join us since my family of 6 was tight. Secondly, the furniture is horribly uncomfortable. My kids refused to sit and watch a movie because of the furniture. There is one comfortable chair we all fought over! So if you plan to relax at the cabin, keep this in mind. Lastly, although the cabin itself is lovely, it is located right across from a boat junkyard and that is your focal point from the rockers on the front steps. So if youā€™re looking for outdoor ambiance, this isnā€™t it. Oh! And it says 30 minutes from Mammoth Cave National Park. That is true if you take the ferry. But in reality, most people are touring caves so you would drive to the visitor center which is 50+ minutes away. Donā€™t rely on the ferry! It isnā€™t always timely. Overall, this cabin was ok for our 3 night stay.
