Hello and thank you for sharing your impressions of your stay. This home has an exceptional rating of 9.6, rated by guests both past and recent; and we’d like to invite future guests to browse through their feedback and reviews. We do understand your concern about the heat and the A/C. During your stay the desert temperatures reached 115°F, which makes it challenging for the vast majority of A/C units to cool a home down quickly. We appreciate your understanding that extreme heat can affect guest comfort despite our best efforts.. Regarding the window treatment in the living-room, it is necessary to manage the temperature in the home and alleviate pressure on the A/C system during extreme summer temperatures. While it is not 100% clear, it does not detract from the beautiful views. We take into consideration all guest feedback and within reason, make adjustments. We always strive to respond promptly and accommodate our guests’ needs, and we invite our future visitors to an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Thank you. The iTrip La Quinta Team

We always are mindful of guest's privacy and never want to intrude on you during a stay. Should you stated that you expected the repairs to be done during your stay, we would have certainly completed the repairs during your stay. We are sorry that you were uncomfortable, and would have suggested a move had your dog not been a consideration as most of the homes that we manage do not accommodate dogs.
