The Double Eight property is located on the face of the Big Horn Mountains, 7 miles from the quaint western town of Big Horn, Wyoming. It is uniquely situated on a ridge between Hidden Valley and Spring Canyon. This premium log home has a stunning panoramic view with all the amenities needed for you and your guests. The indoor and outdoor features will amaze and entertain throughout your stay. They include:
• Two living levels (3000 sq ft) home • Three bedrooms with two king size beds and a queen bed • Each level has a fireplace, queen size fold-out couch, bathroom, kitchen/kitchenette, and access to the outside with a 360-degree view of Sheridan Valley and the Wyoming Big Horn Mountains • Sleeps 10 people • Office with high-speed internet throughout the home • Three patios, BBQ, and lawn furniture • Outbuildings are from a 150-year-old homestead property • End of road privacy • Surrounded by 1000’s of acres of solitude • Experience Western Wyoming history in a ranch-like, Yellowstone-style setting • Property adjoins working cattle ranch • 100-mile views of the Bear Lodge Mountains in Montana • Expansive southern view of Little Goose Valley. Little Goose Valley is home to many large horse and cattle ranches, including Canyon, Flying H, and Hidden Valley Ranches. Many esteemed people such as Forest Mars, Jr., Warren Buffet, Malcom Wallop, John Elway, and Britain’s Queen Elizabeth have either owned properties and/or visited the area. • Unobstructed crystal-clear nighttime skies for unbelievable star gazing • The Double Eight property is located about ¾ mile down ridge from the historic Spahn’s B&B which operated, more or less, continuously as a short-term rental property since 1986 • Canyon Ranch offers 3 short-term rental options on their property • Located minutes from Red Grade Road and easy access to Big Horn Mountain fishing, hiking, hunting and outdoor activities • Visit the Sheridan Land Trust hiking and biking trails located just minutes from the ranch. The Red Grade Trail System is a looping, non-motorized, year-round trail with 17 miles of trail accessible from 5 trailheads between the base at Red Grade Road and Bear Gulch. • Millions of acres of Big Horn National Forest lands offer unlimited cross-country skiing • Nearby downhill skiing is available at Antelope Butte • Exceptional wildlife, bird, and wildflower viewing • Sheridan WYO Rodeo is held the second weekend of July each year. Celebrate the west and experience some of the best rodeo action in the world. • Enjoy the summer High Goal Polo season in nearby Big Horn • Visit museums and historical sites throughout the area • Fine dining in nearby Big Horn, Sheridan, Story or Buffalo, Wyoming • Golf in Big Horn, Sheridan or Buffalo, Wyoming • Fishing, ATV and snowmachine excursions can be arranged by the owners from 3rd party outfitters for additional costs • World-class trout fishing can be found on the Big Horn River below Yellowtail Dam, 109 miles away in Montana • Excellent venue for small corporate retreats • 5-day minimum stay • Well water is treated and is potable. Bottled water, if preferred, is provided. • No pets • No cleaning and/or processing of game on the property • No Trespassing, where posted • Exterior cameras in use • Respect Neighbors and Neighbor's properties • Obey Speed Limits • Year around Access. At the worse, or some may see it as a blessing, may be snowed in only for a few days. :) • If you want the True Ranch Experience, we will put you to work installing or fixing about 1 mile worth of fence :)

Fantastic setting
This is a beautiful home in an amazing setting. The house was very well appointed and clean. The outside spaces are exceptional with one-of-a-kind views. My family loved it here and can’t wait to come back.
The hosts were great, responding immediately to any questions. Five Stars!!

Is 1000 stars an option?
Best place EVER to stay at. Easy to check in and out. You are at the edge of the wilderness so wildlife is abundant. The views are to die for. It doesnt matter rain or shine, dar or night. Absolutely breath taking. Great place to share with friends because of the separate entrances and levels. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
