The home is beautiful inside and out. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the hummingbirds and the view from the sauna. The location is amazing and was a great home base for dinners in Boulder and a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. We can’t wait to return!

Thank you Mary - this makes us so happy! I love that you got to really spend time on our mountain perch, including some hummingbird time with the feeders on the top deck, and use the sauna/wellness area. :) We hope your return home was smooth and yes, please do return!

Incredible home! I was looking for a unique and memorable experience for my family, and that’s exactly what we got from this beautifully eclectic, nature-inspired home. We enjoyed the remarkable sunsets, up-close nature, convenient location, and fun novelty of the cold plunge and sauna. The funky flair and abundance of plants added whimsy that truly made it feel like a spa-like retreat. This is exactly what my family needed this week. Furthermore, the home was well equipped and communication was excellent. One of our favorite stays!

Beautiful Property

Great place to stay. Very close to Boulder, but in the mountains overlooking the city where you feel miles away from everything. Owner was super easy to work with and helpful.

Wonderful home and hosts. Very easy and close drive to Pearl Street and campus, however a million miles away from congestion and traffic! The house is very clean and comfortable with great amenities. We will be back!

Best of both worlds

Our family stayed here for CU parents weekend. The house is beautiful and offers so many wonderful amenities. The location is perfect and provides not only beautiful views but also a very quick drive into town. Anka and John were so accommodating - wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful Home

We can not say enough wonderful things about this home. So close to downtown Boulder, hikes, and so much more. The home is so unique and peaceful. The host truly thought of everything.

Perfect view of Boulder

We stayed for CU family weekend and the house was perfect. Not only was the home comfortable and inviting, but the view (sunrise!!!) was spectacular. We spent our time hiking (Brainard Lake) and enjoying Boulder, but the house was in the perfect location....just far enough to have a view and be in the mountains but not too far to travel back and forth into town very quickly. The owners were very attentive to make sure our stay was perfect. We hope to stay here again, it is a gem. ;)

Colorado Buffa football game

It was magical. The was was truly a home away from home. Everything about it was perfect. Clean, comfortable, spacious, all in a setting that is something out of a fairy tale. I was the with a group of friends but I could have easily been with family and it would have just as great. I would love to go back someday. Bill

The Home that has Everything You Need

We stayed here Wednesday-Sunday of graduation week 2025. It was the perfect getaway for family and friends to gather. We avoided the long wait times for reservations on Pearl Street and the seclusion of individual hotel rooms. This home was peaceful, beautiful, spacious for all guests, close to downtown (10-15 minutes), and had everything you needed to make delicious family meals. For example, they had all the spices, plenty of dishes (2 beautiful sets), serving dishes, vases, a coffee pot, and even an insta pot and Dutch oven. The views off the deck were spectacular. You are even able to see CU Boulder campus from their comfy deck couches. The bathrooms were stocked well with premium soaps and hair products and plenty of towels for everyone. Each bathroom/bedroom had their own hair dryer and lots of closet space. I cannot say enough about this house. It was so hard to leave, but reality called after the high of the celebrations so home we went. One night we had our dinner catered at the house from Torchy Tacos (highly recommend) and another night we ate at Rio on Pearl St.

We needed a place in less than 24 hours for our large family, and this owner really came through for us! The home is beautiful, and the views of the campus in the valley below are perfect. We were quite comfortable despite outside temps pushing 100 degrees. At night as the breezes came, it was a joy to sit out on the large back porch and watch the moon rise over the lights of the city below as the deer roamed beneath us. Our gang ranged in ages from 11 months to 70 years, and everybody had just what they needed. The kitchen, grill, and dining room served us well. We enjoyed sitting around the piano making music. Trips into boulder were quick. There was beautiful hiking on Mt. Salinas right at the base of the dirt road. The host was extraordinarily responsive. There was hummingbird food in the refrigerator, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck watching them up close. A very family-friendly home. I would definitely rent again if I were in the area.

loved the property. Walking distance to great hikes. Kids stayed occupied watching the humming birds and building fairy houses on the property. Would stay again.
