It is blocks from UT, Dell Children's & St. David's Hospitals and 2 mi. from downtown. Located on a quiet street, 2 blocks from the cafes, restaurants and taquerias on Manor Rd. The kitchen has everything you could need and there's space to make this your home away from home. Relaxing views of tree tops from all the windows.
The space
A private keypad code will be provided before you arrive in Austin. The apartment is the perfect home base if you are visiting Austin for a few days or working on the road for a few weeks. You'll sleep like an angel in the Nectar queen sized mattress. The bedroom is filled with light and has a desk you can zoom away from, but you can draw the thick blackout curtains shut at night. The kitchen is stocked with all the pans and utensils you need to cook your favorite meals, and there is a European-style washer-dryer combo so you can do laundry at home.
Guest access
The neighborhood is very pedestrian friendly, and there are always people out walking dogs and babies. If you like to jog, the Mueller Southwest Greenway is on the other side of Airport Blvd, and the Boggy Creek Greenbelt is just south of MLK. I-35 highway is 7 blocks away, so you can get downtown quickly and anywhere in the metro area easily.
Other things to note
There are so many great places to eat or have a drink on Manor Rd., just 2 blocks away! My favorites are Thunderbird for coffee on the deck, Dai Due for farm to table, El Chilito for tacos, ceviche and sangria, Love Supreme for pizza and a huge patio, Techo for a mezcal on the roof, Vic and Al's for cocktails and Louisiana favorites.
