With a modern interior and rustic charm, this Morganton vacation rental cabin boasts the best of indoor and outdoor living. Inside, find a cozy living space complete with a modern kitchen, while the screened deck boasts a gas fireplace, outdoor seating, and flat-screen TV - perfect for watching the big game. Head out from the 3-bed, 3.5-bath cabin to the hot tub on the bottom deck, or make s'mores at the fire pit. Don't forget the dogs! Elevated Escape is dog-friendly.

Elevated Escape is in The Trails community on Thomas Mountain. You will drive 1.2 miles on a gravel road through a neighborhood to arrive at the house. This gravel road is regularly maintained and does not require 4-wheel drive. We have driven to the house in a Nissan Sentra without issue. Please watch for deer on your drive and respect the speed limit of 15 mph.

Weekend getaway with family

Jill was an incredibly responsive and helpful host. The house was beautiful, the kitchen was incredibly well stocked, the deck was perfect. I would highly recommend this rental!

Great “mountain cabin” getaway.

We have met for spring break for the past several years typically at the beach. We decided to branch out and try the mountains. This place was awesome. Quiet, spa on the deck, and screened in porch, pool table. Made it extremely great time for all.

Book a longer stay!

4 nights was way too short for a visit to Elevated Escape! We hated to leave and can’t wait to visit again in the future. Sitting by the fireplace, watching the sunsets, lounging on the porch bed all combined to making the screened in porch our favorite. Just pack your clothes and food..everything else you need is waiting there for you!

Cozy Cabin Exceeded Expectations

Jill was fabulous from the outset with great communication and directions. Cabin was clean and well stocked with coffee essentials and thorough welcome book with info about the property and area. the road was a bit long and difficult but that meant the view was spectacular! We would definitely stay again.

Great weekend

The house is beautiful and Jill is an absolutely pleasure to work with. The house is located down a long gravel road, but we didn’t mind it. The house has everything you need and the porch is awesome with fireplace and tv. Great for relaxing. Our bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our weekend.

Perfect Cabin in the Woods

We stayed at this property during the Christmas holiday and it could not have been a better setting to enjoy the warmth of the fire, the coziness of the log cabin and all of the amenities that this location has to offer. If you have an ideal setting for a log cabin in the mountains in your mind, I am certain it is almost exactly this property! Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay and this property in general. We highly recommend it to anyone considering spending time there.

The cabin is beautifully decorated, clean and well stocked...a warm and cozy rental that checks all the boxes. We absolutely loved the screened in back deck for relaxing and taking in the gorgeous views. Everything is laid out so perfectly...and labeled as well. This is one of the best cabins our family has ever stayed in....we will definitely be back! The owner Jill was fabulous with great communication. We also loved the solitude.

Spectacular Home!

This lovely home was ideal! Just what we were looking for for a family get-together! The feeling of isolation and the view was perfect! And this was the most well equipped, nicely organized home I have ever rented! And we have used STR all around the world! We actually felt a little sad to leave! But hope to stay here again one day. We also fell in love with the little town of Blue Ridge! Definitely worth visiting!

Cozy and Fun!

Our Thanksgiving family and friends getaway at this lovely cabin was perfect! From the cozy bedding and multiple fireplaces, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, fun games, great wooded backyard and comfy screened porch, all our needs were met and we were truly able to unwind and escape the hustle. We enjoyed the daily 3 mi hike leading from the main road to the cabin - def got our heart rate up- and the pups loved chasing each other out back in the leaves. Everything you need is here- beautifully organized and well appointed. The host is wonderful and very responsive.

Family Getaway

What an absolutely perfect stay at Elevated Escape! We have stayed in many rental properties over the years and the whole family agreed this one is definitely in the top tier for us. While the cabin is on the smaller side, every attention to detail has been taken and the layout is such that it maximizes every bit of space in the best way. Beds were comfortable, linens were soft and lovely, the cabin smelled wonderful (noticed those Puras throughout!), detergent was awesome as well. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely come back for another stay! Thank you for being such thoughtful owners and making our experience just like home!

The perfect getaway

We were so happy with our cabin stay! We wanted to disconnect and this location allowed us to do just that! Perfectly appointed with everything we needed! Beautiful evening sunsets… Extra pillows and blankets. Pool table and games! Hot tub was definitely a hit! And finally a well stocked kitchen! When we go on our family vacations we (mostly my husband) loves to cook! We travel with kitchen items that we know we will need. This location had it all! Our host was very helpful and we appreciated her communication. We plan to return!!

Exquisite Cabin

This was our first visit to Morganton, GA and our family had an awesome weekend at this beautiful cabin. All amenities were outstanding and we felt like we were staying in luxury. The beds were comfortable and watching the sunset on the fabulous outdoor porch cannot be beat. We spent most nights by the outdoor fireplace while watching TV or by the fire pit roasting marshmallows. We also enjoyed staying in the hot tub and playing all the wonderful games the owners provided, especially corn hole. Every touch put into providing renters with an exquisite stay was thought of by the owners. We have stayed at many cabins in Pigeon Forge, but this cabin tops them all. The owners of the cabin were great to work with and were available to answer any questions we had before, during, and after our stay. The check in process was effortless and smooth. We plan on going back next November and making this cabin a tradition for our family. We highly recommend your family to stay at Elevated Escape, and I am sure you will fall in love with it just like we did.

Beautiful cabin!

I have rented several cabins the last few years and this may be our new favorite. We had an amazing stay. The owner was so helpful and was great with communication. The cabin was just perfect, absolutely beautiful. The drive up is a little rough, but added to the fun for us! The cabin had so much, tons of board games, the kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfortable. We are already trying to plan our next trip back to stay here!

Great cabin

Elevated Escape is a great cabin with lots of extras. It’s a great place if you just want to relax.The downside is the gravel road to the property is long, in bad shape, and only one lane. There are several properties under construction on the mountain, and we are guessing that the trucks bringing up materials are responsible for most of the ruts. Since we explored the surrounding areas every day, the road would be a deterrent for us renting again.

Great stay!!

Everything was really beautiful!! The house was very nice! Everything you need to have a perfect getaway. The kitchen is stocked up with appliances, the fireplaces and tvs were great! The kids loved it! The cleanliness was perfect! I did reach out ahead of time because my husband is very particular but it met his expectations and he was happy! We saw deer and other animals every time we Drove in and out of the neighborhood ! The only thing was the first day we arrived the ground was still wet from rain and the final hill right before the property our van skidded on the rocks and slid back down and we had to pile up rocks in the ditch so the van wouldn’t fall back. But we were able to turn it around and drive up again. It’s like 10 minutes from the main road to the property on dirt and gravel roads.

Beautiful view

The property was perfect for our family of four with an 18 and 9 year old. Plenty of space to spread out. The second floor screened patio was our favorite place to be. Note: this location is down a 1.5-2 mile very narrow dirt and gravel road and was fine with our SUV.

This cabin was amazing! The cabin was beautiful and the view was spectacular. It was truly a wonderful experience for our first trip to blue ridge. I would absolutely stay at this place again. Once we arrived we didn’t want to leave.

Great Experience with a Few Hitches

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Elevated Escape. It was a great place for our little ones to unplug from the virtual world and enjoy real life for a couple of days. The outdoor fireplace and the firepit were amazing touches that we used almost constantly. I also cannot speak enough about the fully equipped kitchen that came with absolutely anything you can imagine needing. While we thoroughly enjoyed outselves, I will not say that the cabin did not come without it's flaws. The pictures posted of the upstairs living were appear to be taken with a wide lense camera which made the area appear much larger than it is. It worked for us, but I was expecting to have a little bit more space. The bigger issue we encountered was the cleanliness. The first thing we noticed was that the refrigerator has not been cleaned at all after the previous guests. Every shelf was sticky and had food all over. Later that night we realized that every single room had white pet hair everywhere. On the beds, the rugs, the bathrooms. The floors were also pretty dirty as well. We personally cleaned all of these things ourselves to avoid it ruining our stay and I called the owner the following morning to notify her of the poor cleaning job. The cabin owner is who made my review 4 stars instead of 2. She heard my complaints and understood completely. I was very satisfied with her resolution of the problem and would definitely work with her again in the future. I hope our feedback clears up the cleaning issue, as it is the only thing that stopped this from being a 5 star experience.

Beautiful Cabin!

Gorgeous cabin with all the bells and whistles! Very well designed and maintained, stocked with everything you might need for a relaxing getaway. Beds are super comfortable, which is also a huge plus. Location is tucked away enough if you want to unplug, but close to Blue Ridge and other locations for shopping, dining and other fun things to do during your vacation.
