Close to Torch Lake, Williamsburg, Traverse City, Charlevoix, Shanty Creek, golf courses and lots more. 20 acre property for lots of outdoor adventure with a 2.7 mile horse trail, dirt bikes-quads, cross country skiing track in and out of the woods and fields. Bring the horses, quads and bikes and enjoy the scenery. Fire pit with seating for 8 to warm up on those cool nights. Guest may purchase firewood for their stay prior to arrival or once onsite. Fall color tours are amazing in Northern Michigan, come and enjoy Mother Natures beauty at her finest! Note: Outbuildings on property are not to be used by guest. They are private use only. At checkout guest bringing pets must declare so $75 fee is added to quote. Maximum 2 pets unless otherwise approved for additional fees.

Long weekend with friends

Absolutely a beautiful cabin. Very clean and well taken care of. Location was nice for the drive over to Mackinac Island and also Torch Lake Sandbar. Will visit again.

Wonderful cabin in the woods!

We loved this beautiful cabin! Meticulously clean, wonderfully set up. Our dogs were in HEAVEN with the outdoor property and trail! Youā€™ll need to drive into town but definitely do check out shops and the sunsets on Torch Lake.

Peaceful Retreat

Great place to enjoy quiet evenings with family around the fire and close to many activities: lakes, golf, breweries, shopping, etc. Would easily book again for another trip to northern Michigan.

Fall getaway

My husband and I had a fantastic stay in this gorgeous log home and we were able to bring our best girl (chocolate lab) , a must for us. Very comfortable beds and lovely kitchen stocked with everything you may need, we really enjoyed the seclusion and trails as well as the fire pit. Close to a cute town with some lovely little shops.

The description of this property is absolutely spot on. We booked this over the week of July 4th because it is pet friendly and our dog does not do well with fireworks. Although you could still hear some fireworks on the 4th and 5th, our dog was so wore out from walking the property and surrounding areas, that they didn't bother her. I can honestly say Peaceful Acres had everything we needed for the week and more. If you're looking for a get-away that is still close enough to a lot of dog friendly locations, this is the place. Thanks for a great week!

Michigan heat wave

We started with temps in the 90ā€™s, air and fans got a good workout, kept us nice and cool.Cabin was great for us all week, and our dogs, location was perfect for all the places we planned on going to and we did them all.Property was nicely landscaped, we didnā€™t use the trail due to going places daily. Loved Alden, beautiful little town with Aldenā€™s Mill House, go there, itā€™s amazing. Torch Lake area is beautiful, which is why we booked this property, location was perfect.

Alden ā€œAā€ Frame

Very clean property both the grounds and the cabin. Well stocked; had everything we needed to have a fun getaway. The location is near lots of attractions including Mackinaw Island. We had so much fun there! The owners were easy to contact and responded quickly to all our questions. Weā€™ll book this property again the next time weā€™re in the area.

Friend reunion

A couple of friends of over 30 years along with their wives, enjoyed every second of this home. Everything youā€™d need to have a great time. Used the fire pit, ate some great meals using the grill, and had an easy drive to Torch Lake for a day on the water. Would stay here without hesitation.

Amazing Hidden Cabin Near Torch Lake

The cabin had everything you could want. It was clean and had plenty of space. The location is perfect for all sorts of activities including fun on the many lakes in the surrounding area. The house was close to several amazing golf courses. In the winter, the cabin is close to ski resorts and snowmobile trails. The property owners were fantastic to work with. This cabin in the woods is a fantastic choice for those looking for a place that is close to the fun, but far enough away to not have to pay crazy high prices. We will return in the future for more fun in Northern Michigan.

Weekend Stay

We came up to spend a day on Torch Lake. Little did we know the property would be as amazing as it was, we wanted to stay longer. Checked in on Friday and spent the evening on the trail with our 4wheelers, dirt bike and golf cart then around the fire pit. Saturday we was gone on the lake all day but we were able to come back and relax. The house is equipped with everything we needed and then some. There was firewood on the property for the fire pit. Owners were quick to respond to any questions. Beds were comfortable and house was clean. Our dogs loved all the space to run. Completely private and quiet. Highly recommend !

I have stayed at my fair share of bnbā€™s and I will say hands down this house was the best one Iā€™ve stayed at for a few reasons. Log home was tucked back off a quiet back road. It was extremely clean and felt like luxury as well as personable. Owners went above and beyond with top of the line kitchenware, nice furniture, and good comfortable mattresses. Honestly this is hard to find at most rental properties. The trail that ran through the property was gorgeous and well groomed. The outdoor fire pit was nicely maintained and the front porch had great seating as well to enjoy the views. Owners were quick to communicate and were super friendly.
