Sandy beach retreat! 500 ft to beach! 3 miles to the quaint village of Lexington

Wake up and enjoy your coffee on either of the covered porches, then get the kids ready for some fun at the beach! Once the sun goes down sit and relax making sā€™mores at the fire pit. Enjoy shopping at the many quaint stores in downtown Lexington. Have some great pizza at Steissā€™ restaurant or an amazing hand dipped ice cream cone at Mamaā€™s. The Lexington Theatre hosts a variety of shows from music artists to comedians. We have 2 bedrooms that can sleep 5 total and a pull out love seat in the sitting room that can sleep 1 adult or 2 small children more. 2 smart tvā€™s and Wi-Fi. We do not have central air but do have a window unit and fans. We have a gas grill for some good family meals at home. There is a beach wagon for your quick walk to the beach and corn hole boards for some good family fun.

Great place to stay! Clean, cozy, has all the amenities you could need and more. The host goes out of their way to make the place welcoming and even invites you to share in (and make your own) little traditions. Will be back no question about it. Had a fantastic weekend. Thank you so much :)

Jana the property owner was an excellent communicator and wanted to ensure we had everything we needed. This cute cottage was awesome. Great care was taken in so many details to make sure we were comfortable and had an enjoyable time. It was a great girls getaway! Iā€™d definitely go back again! A 10 for sure!!

The cabin is adorable! Very clean, light, airy and perfect beach vibes. Very short walk to secluded beach. The amenities were great, with so many thoughtful details. The host was fantastic. I highly recommend!

This property was perfect for us! First day was iffy so we played games on the front porch and enjoyed the night air after we ate. You literally need to pack clothes, food and personal toiletries and that's about it. Of course there are things from home we can't be without. My neighbor and I are already wanting to go back next year. Very homey! Everything in town is close to the marina and the lake is beautiful. Though the water wasn't swimming temperature.Truly a hidden gem!!!

Comfy quiet getaway

Our family visited Lexington on our way back to Canada and were so glad we did. Jan's property is so cozy and has everything you need for a relaxing retreat. We loved swimming in the lake before visiting the town for dinner and ice cream. Highly recommended!

Summer get away

The cottage was everything it was listed as. The host was possibly the most considerate we have ever stayed with. Truly had the guest experience in mind and accounted for. If you want a place to stay in a wonderful small community with a beach a short walk away, this is the place to stay!

We had a great time!!Cottage was decorated so nice. Had everything you needed and then some!!The sparklers were a fun touch!!!The fire pit was wonderful and it was nice that you provided the wood. Great location to beach and Lexington.

Fantastic Home right by the beach

We really enjoyed our stay here. Check in was smooth and the house was nice and cool on a very hot day arrival. We loved the quick access walk to the very private beach, and the homes property is very private and has everything you need for a family stay. Our little one loved the room in the back for TV and snacks. All and all this place is a fantastic get away right out of the city and we will definitely return again.

Peaceful Retreat

The cottage is set back from the street, surrounded by trees, and backs up to a small ravine, so it is very quiet and peaceful. The covered front porch with a large table is a great place to enjoy meals and play games. And the beach is just a few houses down the street. The beach itself is large, secluded, and peaceful. While the beach is sandy, you do have to get over some rocks to get to the water, so water shoes are recommended. And a raft or two if you like floating on the waves. :) The cottage itself is very neat, clean, and beautifully decorated. The posted pictures are current and accurate. The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked with some special treats like wine and candy. The bedrooms are cozy with comfortable mattresses and lots of pillows. Lexington is always fun. Visit the little shops, especially the general store. In Port Huron, Iā€™d recommend The Raven restaurant and Kateā€™s Downtown as well as a stop at the Fort Gratiot lighthouse. All in all, it was one of the nicest cottages on Lake Huron that weā€™ve stayed at. Thank you for the relaxing time!

We are from Lexington and have always enjoyed hosting parties and get togethers with friends and family. Being a host to a short term rental has been a great outlet for us to provide an atmosphere for our guests to relax and make memories.

We chose Lexington because we love it here. The small town atmosphere with quaint shops and of course Lake Huron!! We found a cozy little cottage just 500 ft from the beach and knew it was perfect!
