Pony Point at Pine Knoll Farm Kentucky is a unique horse farm stay located above our
beautiful horse barn in the heart of horse country. We have prime views of the farm
which is located in the center of the Bourbon Trail. 5 min to great restaurants in Midway!
Pony Point is 12 mins to The Kentucky Horse Park, 25 mins to Keenland, and Ark is 50
mins. Stabling/turnout available. We offer horse experiences/workshops/clinics through

Photos do not do this incredible barndominium justice. It is absolutely STUNNING! The rooms are lovely and roomy, the common areas beautiful, vaulted ceilings. And the view! There are no words for how gorgeous this property is. The horses, the trails, the deck, the views - all perfection. All 3 of us ladies would stay here again and again. *note not handicap accessible as there are stairs

Our group of 6 adults stayed here for a weekend at the track. The place is clean, spacious and had more than enough room to accommodate us all. The beds were comfortable and rooms were a good size. If you can, make it a point to catch the sunrise, it is simply stunning. Make arrangements to visit the horses as well! The host were friendly and helpful with ideas on where places to dine. We would definitely stay here again.

A Perfect Kentucky Getaway – Peaceful, Picturesque, and Perfectly Located!

Our family had the most unforgettable stay at Pine Knolls Farm—a true hidden gem tucked away in the rolling hills of Kentucky. We stayed in the beautifully renovated apartment above the stable, which was not only spotless and spacious but also incredibly cozy and full of charm. Waking up each morning to scenic views of the farm, with horses grazing nearby and mist rising over the fields, was a peaceful reset we didn’t know we needed.The location was absolutely ideal—scenic and serene, yet perfectly situated for all the adventures we had planned. We spent a full day at the Ark Encounter, which was just a short and easy drive away. On other days, we got our competitive spirit going with some fun rounds of pickleball at local public courts, and capped our trip with a taste of Kentucky’s finest along the Bourbon Trail.Whether we were relaxing on the porch, enjoying the wide open skies, or watching the sun dip behind the trees after a day of exploring, Pine Knolls Farm provided the perfect home base. The hosts were welcoming and thoughtful—they’ve truly created a slice of heaven here.We left feeling refreshed, reconnected, and already dreaming of coming back. Highly, highly recommend to any family or group looking for a peaceful retreat in the heart of Kentucky.

Amazing Stay in Kentucky Horse Country

This was my first experience with booking a stay through Vrbo. I usually choose hotel rooms for my family but it's not an ideal or comfortable situation for longer stays. I saw this property and the photos were beautiful. I was wondering if it could be true- sometimes the photos look better than real life. But this property is truly as beautiful in person as the photos show! There is plenty of room and we were so comfortable during our stay. Check in and check out were a breeze and Rob was very kind to us during our stay. He introduced as to all the horses and ponies. My daughter is a horse girl and he allowed her to watch the farrier work on the ponies' hooves. Then she got to lead a pony to their paddock. This experience made her day! She absolutely loved the bedroom where she could peek at the ponies and sometimes hear their adorable whinnies. The location is very convenient to Kentucky Horse Park and Old Friends. We can't recommend this property enough!!!

Beautiful Horse Farm Stay

We have stayed at many rentals over the years and this one is easily top 3. Great communication from hosts leading to check in. Beautiful working horse farm property. Loved the upstairs layout and spacious kitchen and 3 bathrooms. Very tastefully decorated and our girls loved staying in the back bedroom and telling the peace ponies good night and good morning and made friends with a very chunky barn cat on property. A real gem in the middle of horse country!

Surprise!

We came from out of town to surprise a friend celebrating her retirement and we were all surprised and amazed by this property. It was a perfect place to relax, cook good food and experience quaint neighboring towns down towns. The entire experience was amazing!!

Great family stay

This property was absolutely gorgeous!!!! Immaculate, new, and had anything you could ask for. Nice views. There was so much space for everyone to spread out. The ponies were great and it was fun to watch them in the barn and during our interaction. Easy to get around the area and explore. We wished we had a longer stay to see and do more!!!

A Refreshing and Peaceful Experience

Upon coming up here for a birthday celebration, we didn't realize how magical this experience would be. Gillian has a magnificent property that will set anyone at ease. The atmosphere of the barnominium above the arena was nothing short of spacious and calming. We especially appreciated the feline greeters upon arriving at the property. The horses are gentle, the Peace Ponies expressive and kind (we highly recommend you request to meet them if you get the chance), and the care Gillian and her team have for these animals shows. The space was clean and felt homey with easy check in, clean up, and check out procedures. Communication with Gillian was easy, and Rob was kind and offered some great ideas and places to experience (check out Castle & Key Distillery!)Overall, if you are looking for a getaway that offers peace and ease with some horsey and feline friends, and the kindest of hosts, this is your place!Thank you, Gillian and team! We appreciate your hospitality and wisdom, and of course the healing energy from your animals!

Unique and Excellent!

Ponys, horses, and cats…oh my! And that’s just a very small part of what made our stay unique and excellent. The property was beautiful inside and out. Tasteful decorated with horsey theme. Clean and well-maintained. Views of the horse farm, surrounding countryside, ponys in their stalls, horses being exercised in the arena, a rare Chinese Elm tree that provided a serene outdoor seating area…this place had it all. Gillian and Rob were welcoming, friendly and unobtrusive. We were greeted by both and then charmed by two amazingly friendly barn cats who spent time with us every day welcoming our attention. I’ve never stayed at a better Airb&b.

Unique treat

Although the weather did not cooperate for our biking weekend, we sure picked the perfect place to stay indoors. This stunning property was extremely well designed in its layout giving us plenty of room and a warm, welcoming charm of equine decor. We enjoyed peeking in to see the ponies from the bedroom patio, making sure we also said good night to them, and viewing from the window the training area to see what was going on. It was such a unique experience which will be a highlight of our trip. Thank you, Gillian and Rob, for being so gracious.

Lovely

Our girls weekend spent at Pony Point was just perfect and we would happily return. The beds and furniture were all comfortable and just as pictured. The cupola above the kitchen area lets in lots of natural light. The location of the farm is perfect as a base from which to explore Georgetown, the Ky. Horse Park, the wineries, etc. Best of all are the Peace Ponies, the orange fluffy cat with a silent meow and Woodrow, the African goose! Our ages range from 55-76 and we all very much enjoyed our stay.

Amazing

We came on a girls trip and had an amazing time. The pictures do not do this place enough justice. It has a great layout and attention to details in each room. The owners were onsite and easy to communicate with throughout the stay. Getting to see the ponies and the horses were the highlight of my trip.

Great Kentucky Getaway!

I will say this is the cleanest home away from home we have stayed at! The layout was beautifully done and everything was perfect! We got to see Kentucky flooding and snow everywhere we went, but we made the best of our stay. The grounds are beautifully done. Cleanest horse barn I have seen in person. Rob the grounds keeper was easy to talk to and Gillian the owner was extremely friendly and helpful immediately with any questions. Loved our stay and 4 day getaway with friends.

Great Stay! One of Favorites Stays!

We usually stay in Lexington when visiting our kids at UK, but decided we wanted to stay in horse country at least once. Super glad that we did! A working horses farm with all the feels you would expect. The door that leads to the porch overlooking the horses in their stalls was a fun way to see them just chilling. Clean, big and very nicely decorated

We loved the location, clean and spacious rooms, seeing the horses and ponies, and everything about our stay. Everyone was friendly and responded quickly and kindly when we needed something. We usually like to try new places, but we would come back here again!
