Ken & Tanya have a little slice of heaven at Stones Lake. It’s quaint, quiet and the view was spectacular as we came in autumn. The house is cozy and clean. Looking forward to returning again!

We had an amazing experience at Tanya's cottage. The description and photos are 100% accurate. The cottage was spotless and we felt comfortable settling in right away. Their communication was outstanding and our only regret was we could not stay longer than we did. We were there three nights in early September. Mosquitoes were bad at dusk and dawn but that must be expected and did not interfere with our enjoyment of the cottage. The lake is very quiet and the cottage is on the far end (east) of the lake. Minimal boat traffic but lots of loons. Waking up to hearing the loon calls was heavenly.

The Crew Cabin is well equipped. They were very clear for items they did not provide which was most helpful in planning our sister week together. The scenery made relaxing so easy, such a lovely peaceful lake. We had geese visit us, heard the calls of and saw Loons, saw otters, and a variety of birds. Being all 60 plus years of age, a handrail along the seven steps to the dock would have been a great help. Everything was in good working condition. Highly recommend this Vrbo.

This cottage was extremely clean and comfortable. Everything is nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and this is a pretty area for viewing the fall colours.

A Perfectly Private & Welcoming Getaway

We so enjoyed this beautiful cabin with such a stellar view! The open concept design made it so easy to further enjoy our visit. Tanya was super responsive to any questions we had - we definitely look forward to booking in the future when back in Ontario!

Spotless, bright, fully equipped with comfortable beds and anything else you might need or want was available and supplied. Exactly as described. Communication was prompt and our requests were agreeably catered to without hesitation. Absolutely perfect! We'll be back.

Absolutely beautiful, large, clean modern home. The view is incredible with a great patio, deck and dock. Lovely, quiet location. Inside is very nicely done with two separate living areas. Well supplied for cooking. Instant communication with host. Can’t say enough!

This house is very clean and comfortable. It has a stunning view of the water and loons were calling out several evenings with their distinctive call! 2 day stay.

Went to do a 2 day track day at Calabogie motorsport park. The house was a few minutes from the track. The house is at the end of a dirt road and is very peaceful and relaxing. had a wonderful time.

a little bit of paradise

beautiful property. lots of room to hang out inside and outside. large deck and large dock. ample games to use and puzzles to build. we were surprised with a wonderful welcome gift. the owners were easy to communicate with. will rent this property again if we can.

This place was idyllic, so peaceful and beautifully situated. The cottage was really well kitted out with amazing views out onto the lake. It felt a bit daunting driving down the 5km gravel road to get there, however it was certainly worth it.The amazingly large sofa meant we could all relax in comfort. The games room was such fun, giving us some funny evenings.We loved being able to swim off the deck and use the pedalo. There was an abundance of wildlife to be spotted from the patio, we saw a kingfisher several times and heard wolves of an evening.Nearby Calabogie was lovely, with everything we needed, as well as a wonderful pizzeria, brewery and delicious Indian food place (sadly now closed). Calabogie felt a lot like Ucluelet used to, in a good way.We would love to come back, this is one of the best places we have ever stayed in, and we've rented 40 holiday properties.

Crew Cabin in winter.

The property &house are beautiful for a getaway.The only 2 critisms we had were the driveway access in the winter. Very steep &the road was icy. Salt &sand were provided &we availed. 👍 And also the was little or no closet space in the bedrooms for clothing; as our stay was only 2 nights we were not hindered greatly. All else was perfect &was certainly well outfitted & we would come again in the summer or fall. Bev &John

Crew Cabin Christmas

This was the perfect place for our adult family to meet, coming in from various corners of the country. Six fit very comfortably with the downstairs a great living area for the young couples and the upstairs' open concept kitchen, dining, living area suitable for concurrent activity - cooking, board games, TV watching, or just sitting together catching up, The space is well turned out and such a quiet, country spot good for walking or watching the neighbours ice fish. :) A nice break from the city. Messages between the owners were friendly, timely, and hit that sweet spot of ensuring we were okay yet not too much. Checkin and out was simply, location close to the village for quick pickups. Highly recommend this location for a getaway and can only imagine how much fun it would also be in the summer.

A perfect escape

We recently had the pleasure of spending a week at an absolutely gorgeous modern cottage, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning view that greeted us – it was nothing short of breathtaking. The cottage itself was impeccably designed, blending modern comforts with a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the stylish decor to the well-equipped kitchen. It was clear that the owners put a lot of love and care into maintaining this beautiful retreat. Speaking of the owners, they were simply wonderful. Super friendly and always available, they responded quickly to any questions we had, making sure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. What truly set this place apart was the tranquility. Nestled in a peaceful area, it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We cherished the quiet moments, whether it was sipping coffee on the deck in the morning or stargazing at night with a glass of wine by the fire. We are already looking forward to booking this incredible cottage again in the future. It provided the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend!
