Great little cabin just 20 minutes away from The Ark. Enjoy a peaceful night relaxing on the deck of this cute little cabin or play some games while waiting for your dinner to be cooked on the gas grill. Enjoy a game of ping pong at the pavilion or take a swim at the pool. The great cabin is just beside a little stream and next to the woods so you could take a walk and enjoy taking in the beautiful view.

The location was perfect for visiting the Ark & Creation Museum. The owners were so nice to leave us some pumpkins, paints & stickers to decorate during our Fall visit. The kitchen was great, but could use some more baking type pans/sheets. Only had a muffin & meatloaf pan. The gas stove & oven worked great. The only negative was the one Queen bed, very lumpy and not comfortable at all. Overall it was a great little cabin, and my family totally enjoyed our stay.

We were running a little late that caused us to arrive after closing. Contacted property manager and they provided easy instructions for us to pick up outside office upon our arrival. The self Check-in was very easy and smooth as well as check-out. Great stay for the three nights we were there.

The beds were hard and we could have used afew more measuring utensils such as a cup and salt and pepper. Otherwise the place was nice to stay. Centrally located to all of our travels.

Overall we are glad we chose this location for our trip. The playground was great for the kids, the campground was quiet and family friendly, and it was a nice in between location between the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. It was spacious enough for 4 adults and 2 children and the overall cleanliness was great! We appreciated the amenities and space over hotel rooms. The pots and pans were usable, but they were worn out and the handles were loose. My biggest concern was the lack of communication with the property manager. We checked in just after office hours Saturday which was no big deal, but we discovered the sheets for the pull out couch were not in the cabin. I reached out using the after hours phone number provided several times over the weekend and had no response until physically going to the office Monday morning during office hours. Thankfully our issue was an inconvenience rather than a safety concern, but I was not pleased with the lack of communication.

Good in a pinch

The cabin is cute and has what is needed. The manager of the property answered my texts and sent maintenance for the issues I contacted her about. It could have been cleaner and the bed was not comfortable. But overall it was a decent stay

Relaxing.

We stayed at the Country Cabin as a home base between the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. This place worked well for this. It is small but when you are with your high school sweetheart, and happen to be celebrating your 40th wedding anniversary, I would say ā€œcozyā€ would be a better description.

Great place to stay for visiting the creation Museum and Ark Encounter

It was a nice little cabin that had what we needed for our stay. The kids loved the bunk bed. The queen bed was pretty short and not that comfortable but it was fine. The cabin seemed pretty new and was clean. The kids liked the playground that was there in the rv park. This place was in between the creation Museum and the Ark Encounter that we were in the area to visit. There's a nice Kroger nearby that was great for getting groceries.

Family Vacation

We had a great time staying at the Country cabin. The location was great for all the activities we had planned and we enjoyed family time in the cabin in the evenings. It would be great if you could add pegs or hooks to hang clothes. Otherwise, our stay was comfy and the cabin had everything we needed for an enjoyable trip.

Family Time

Check in was easy. They had our name and information in the envelope. The office staff were very nice. They even offered us glasses to use during the eclipse. The location was perfect. The camp ground was peaceful and quiet. The cabin was very clean. This cabin was pet friendly. It was the first time that we took our little dog on a trip with us. She did very well. If we ever decide to visit this area again, we would choose to stay here. We did have to check out early, due to an unexpected death in my family, but we did not ask for a refund or anything. We were supposed to stay until Saturday, but we had to leave Thursday morning. I did let the office staff know that we would be leaving early and he told me where to leave the key, because we would be leaving before anyone arrived in the office. Overall, we had a good experience. Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. We were able to visit the Ark, Creation museum, and even went to a Cincinnati baseball game while we were there. We really enjoyed our family time.

Recommend-Cozy-Step up from camping

The cabin is small so itā€™s very cozy. Located in an RV park/campground, but we didn't have any problems with noise. It's also right off the highway and easy to find. Again even though itā€™s close to the highway there wasnā€™t a lot of traffic noise. It was very clean! It was chilly when we were there but in warmer weather, it would have been nice to sit outside on the porch or near the creek in the evenings. The cabin might be too small if you have rambunctious kiddos, but there's a playground onsite (at the front of the campground not within ear/eyeshot of the cabin) and just walking around the campground would be fun. The little creek is pretty. If you have clothes you need to hang you'd have to get creative as there are not any closets or hangers or anywhere to do so. The coffee maker is a Keurig with a seemingly random assortment of k-cups and there wasnā€™t any creamer. The kitchen is stocked with lots of utensils and pots and pans. We were able to make dinner and do dishes easily. Overall if youā€™re laid back and donā€™t need a lot of space this would be perfect. If youā€™re traveling with people who need a lot of personal space this wouldnā€™t be for you. We liked it. We were only around in the evenings and spent them just sitting and chatting and watching sports. There were a few board games available and itā€™s a nice cozy space for that too!
