Beautiful Custom Eco Friendly Home with Private Back Yard POOL

Beautiful furnished plantation style truly custom home on sunny Kaloli point in Hawaiian Paradise Park. We are a legal short term rental with the state of Hawaii. Also eco friendly as the entire house and pool is solar powered with the exception of our gas stove! 15x30 in ground private pool in back for your enjoyment! We now have a 5 night minimum for rentals and a strict 6 person maximum including children. As we are located just a 1000 feet from the ocean as the crow flies, you can listen to the waves crash against the cliffs as you have a relaxing drink on the lanai. Large Lanai off the kitchen dining room area and a large deck as you come upstairs. 2 bedrooms each containing a queen sized memory foam bed and 2 full baths. Two bedrooms are on on the upper floor. By separate entrance there is a third room with queen bed and full bathroom. Open beam ceiling with cooling fans throughout. Comfortable furniture (so important!) with a flat screen TV in both the living room and one of the master bedrooms. Free long distance calls anywhere within the US and Canada. 78 cable channels, wireless high speed internet access anywhere in the house or on the two lanais. Just bring your laptop.

We are conveniently located just 20 minutes from the Hilo airport and 40 minutes from Volcano National park

IF YOU ARE THINKING OF HAVING A PARTY/FAMILY GET TOGETHER, PLEASE RENT SOMEWHERE ELSE. WE WILL START WITHHOLDING DEPOSIT MONEY FOR EXTENSIVE EXTRA CLEANING OF HOUSE/POOL AND PAYING PEOPLE TO MAKE SPECIAL TRIPS FOR EXTRA GARBAGE REMOVAL.

Per Hawaii County code. Please comply with:
(A) Quiet hours shall be from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., during which time
the noise from the short-term vacation rental shall not unreasonably
disturb adjacent neighbors.
(B) Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non -quiet
hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with
a residential area.
(C) Guest vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area.

Home was clean and well maintained. Kitchen had everything you needed. We didn’t use the pool, but it was a beautiful addition to the home. Host was very responsive and had everything listed out when you arrived. If we go back to the big island we would definitely stay here again.

The home was beautiful! The pool was a perfect size to enjoy several times a day just to relax after a busy day of sight seeing. The whole house included everything you could possible need with a grocery store close. Definitely would recommend this to everyone! The only draw back right now is that there is new construction close by with lots of jack hammering and construction noises most of the day, but still did not take away the beauty of the location and the home.

The house and property are dreamlike! It smelled of flowers the entire stay. Both the front and backyard are lovely. The home was well stocked with towels and amenities. The hosts were very quick to respond. The location was hard for the younger teens as it is a 30-40 minute drive (depending on traffic) from Hilo, things to do and beaches. I however enjoyed the cliffs and the more rural setting. The hardest thing about the home was the heat and no a/c. There are lots of fans but it’s an adjustment if you are not used to it which we were not. The frogs are loud but earplugs helped.

Another great stay here - feels like home away from home. Swam every day in the pool and easy drive to Hilo for swims in the ocean. The fruit stand just up the road to get our daily papaya and lime is the best.

Our family of four absolutely loved this house. It was truly a spot in paradise. The kitchen was so well stocked with all you could need. The beds were super comfortable. There were pool toys to play with and a hot outdoor shower. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!

Kea’au house with pool

We enjoyed our stay at the Kea’au house very much. We especially liked the kitchen and outdoor pool and landscaping. The only complaint and reason for 4 stars is a problem with a lot of small black bugs that were attracted to the lights and seemed to be in the house. Just needs some thorough pest control as everything else was great.

Wonderful home, a perfect rental

This house was wonderful! Its location to Hilo and Volcanoes NP was exactly what we needed. The pool was something we didn’t know we needed until we were there and spent so much time there after adventuring each day. I also appreciated how well stocked this house was. We rent VRBOs often and the fact this house had a knife block AND a knife sharpener is AMAZING. Those little things can really make a difference. Plus the use of a cooler and cold blocks in the freezer! Tons of Tupperware for storing food. Those things really make this home owner stand out to us. Loved it and would stay again!

Beautiful Home - Perfect Stay

We were five family adults there for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This home couldn’t have been more perfect. The common area (living room, kitchen and dining) was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. We prepared a Thanksgiving meal there that was truly special. The bedrooms were all large with comfortable beds. One of the bedrooms has a separate outside entrance, but it was just a quick walk outside down the stairs, so it was no problem at all to access. The private pool is beautiful and very well maintained, as is all the outside property. The home’s location is in a large residential area that is a 20-25 minute drive into Hilo. But the quiet setting, away from the busy tourists areas, was welcome at the end of a long day of sightseeing. The owner Melanie was friendly, responsive and helpful with the couple of questions that we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would definitely book it again, should we be fortunate enough to return to Hawaii.

Luxurious home base

We appreciated the well -equipped kitchen and lovely private pool area in this as-new spacious house. We could make day trips of the east coast. There are no shops, cafes or beaches nearby.

Awesome Place on Hilo/Volcanoes Area of Big Island

Wonderful and comfortable house with beautiful landscaping and refreshing pool. Location is convenient for exploring the eastern half of the island. Rental process was super easy and owners are quick to communicate. Would happily stay here again!

Wonderful Family Vacation near Hilo!

The house is large and clean, the pool is WONDERFUL and the property is gorgeous with flowers everywhere! We had a wonderful time, the kitchen has everything we needed, plenty of towels and my kids really appreciated all of the pool toys. We hope to come back in the future!
