Private lot, 900 sq. ft. cabin style house, quiet neighborhood, pet friendly w/ fenced in back & side yards, deck, 2 bedrooms both w/ king beds/ 2 bathrooms. The right side of the driveway has a 14 ft. clearance for boats & trucks. Hard wood floors, Wi-fi, basic cable & Netflix on living room TV. Smart TVs for your Roku... linens, towels, toiletries, coffee, beach chairs & cooler included. Check in is 2pm, earlier when possible, check out 1pm, we do not rent back to back... One mile walk to the beach and boardwalk areas, some restaurants and entertainment...FOUR PERSON MAXIMUM, house trained pets welcome!

pet friendly beach house

Perfect for our short getaway

The property was perfect for our short getaway and had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. Nice backyard that our dog loved. Communication was great and the owners were extremely responsive and accommodating. The location is ideal. Quiet area but close to everything. We’d definitely recommend it to others traveling with a small family and a dog.

A cute cottage with a lot of character and Charm

Nice location, close to the beach, close to restaurants. Nice and cozy cottage, host has given a lot of thought to the artefacts and decorations in the house. We had a lot of fun.

This was my second stay here!

I stayed here two years in a row with my dogs! I love the large fenced in back yard for them! It's so peaceful. John was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Thank you so much John & Terri for having such a beautiful home available for a great vacation!

Great place and great hospitality

The place was really clean and the hosts were very accommodating. The backyard is perfect for people with dogs . 5 star rating and wish I could rate it even higher .

Great place to stay close to the beach

We loved our visit to Carolina Beach and this home. The owners were friendly and responsive during the reservation process and our entire visit. Check in was easy too. The location was perfect, close to grocery stores, restaurants and the beach. House is on a quiet street perfect for walking our dog. The house was so comfortable and had everything we needed for two adults and a small dog. The back yard is fabulous. Very clean and nicely landscaped, fenced in, nice deck with chairs and tables. Perfect spot to relax and let our dog explore. We would love to stay here again when we return to the Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach area to visit our family

Great little beach cottage for family and furbabies

My family of four enjoyed this very comfy beach cottage for a 5 day summertime hiatus. Our dogs felt at home, having their own backyard to explore and hang out in. We cooked all of our meals there to save money and had almost everything we needed. Publix was just a block away for anything additional. The beds are very comfortable, the showers are more than adequate with ample pressure. We had our morning coffee on the rocking chair front porch and practiced yoga on the large back deck under the canopy of shade trees. We made the best of family time with shared meals and board games. Staying here made for a perfect laid-back beach vacation, allowing us to completely unwind. We totally recommend this cottage, especially if you have pets that travel with you. The beach is nearby, just a five-minute drive. They have a cooler and towels and chairs… just bring yourselves! This house has everything!

Nice weekend getaway for adults and pets

We had a great time at John and Terri’s place. The house is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The yard is awesome and the dogs absolutely loved it! We had three labs with us, so it was a huge bonus for them to have a place of their own to run around! There are also lounge chairs and patio set for people to hang out and relax in the yard, and we spent a lot of time in it. The inside is decorated nicely with interesting artwork. They have an Alexa which we really enjoyed. When we came in, there was music playing which immediately put us into a relaxed state. It was a really nice touch! The towels and bed linens are high quality and the bed was very comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet surrounded by nice homes and an easy walk to Carolina Beach and many restaurants to choose from. We didn’t have to drive anywhere except for a ride to Kure Beach (which was short) just to check out something different. Overall, this place was perfect for us and our dogs. We would definitely stay again!

Relaxation at it's best!

Convenient to shopping and grocery stores! Beautiful property with several areas to relax.....back deck, front porch with rocking chairs or a little peace on the side of the master bedroom! The little extras our host have waiting for you as you walk into your home away from home. Enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon.

Great getaway

My fiancé and I spent our 1st anniversary here, and it was a wonderful experience. Within minutes we felt like we were in our own home, only with the advantage of being just a few minutes from the beach. The house itself is adorable, and every amenity on the inside from toiletries to furniture was fantastic. The secluded backyard and deck was our favorite place to hang out. Plenty of room, private, and beautiful. The owners, John and Terri were in touch and accessible throughout the stay, and just made it feel like we were borrowing the place from a couple of friends. We’ll definitely be back again:)

A perfect dog friendly beach bungalow!

This was exactly what we needed for our mother/daughter getaway with our dogs! The location and surrounding area was beautiful! We felt extremely safe and walked everywhere with no issues. I was pleasantly surprised at how much time we spent at the cabin for being on a beach vacation. It was so nice to drink our coffee each morning on the large deck while the dogs played in the fenced in yard. Everything was clean and comfortable. We felt like we were on a vacation with the cozy feeling of home. The owners were easy to communicate with and there were no unexpected surprises, everything was exactly as described. We are already trying to plan our next trip! We left feeling very relaxed! Sad to leave but happy for the memories!

Amazing place!

Everything about this place is AMAZING! Owners were so friendly and communicated so well, super easy check in, the inside of the home has the best vibes and was so clean, fantastic backyard for you and your dog and last but not least the location is perfect! Can not recommend this rental enough!

Such an awesome space.

Felt just like home the house was so open and the air conditioning felt great after coming in from the hot sun. The owners communicated so well. They were so friendly! The house is super close to everything and has a super awesome back yard!!!!

Great vacation

Excellent property, very clean and beautifully decorated. Dog friendly!!! Nice patio and fenced backyard. And an excellent location - 10-15 walk to the boardwalk and the beach. We had wonderful 4th of Jule weekend and few more days there! We look forward to coming back next year if possible!

Perfect location!

My family enjoyed every part of our stay here- dinner on the back porch, the most perfect location (close to restaurants, right behind a Publix, the beach a 5 minute drive away), and a very responsive host. We'll be back as soon as we can!

Beach bungalow treasure

This property is perfect for many reasons. It is very private and quiet. The fenced in back yard is great for dogs and has great shade. The house is clean as well equipped. It is very close to grocery store, fish market, and liquor stores. It’s a great way to experience Carolina beach without being cramped in a condo or hotel. I would highly recommend it and hope to stay there again!

Perfect beach getaway

We had a wonderful time staying at this very clean and comfortable cabin near the beach. Our dog LOVED the fenced in backyard and the owners were awesome at communicating with us and making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this rental!

Nice beach bungalow

This home was very clean & nicely decorated. The fenced in backyard was very relaxing. The Owners made the check in process very easy and they checked on us to see if we needed anything during our stay.

Perfect cabin

What a perfect spot for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers and dog! Tucked away on a quiet street in its own little oasis with circular driveway and biking distance to the beach and the activity of the Main Street, this quaint bungalow is exactly what we needed to escape our DMV quarantine world. The fact that my son and daughter had no issue sleeping until noon in the second king size bed tells it all. For a pet friendly rental the place was VERY clean and the yard was well kept (definitely buggy so must use repellant). the towels were in abundance and fluffy and bright and the sheets were crisp—very important to me in any home rental. Both bathrooms were clean and well appointed. While the kitchen is a tad small, my husband and I aren’t big cooks so it didn’t cause us any concern. The owners were extremely responsive to all my questions and provided personal and local insights which we fully took advantage (especially the beautiful nearby pet friendly beach!) While clearly COVID limited the crowds in the Carolina Beach area, this house is in such a great location and street it really wouldn’t matter if it was high season. This was our first vacation traveling with our pooch and this bungalow has us and pooch longing for the sunset from the back deck and the natural light streaming through the many windows. Thank you John and Terri for hosting our well deserved peaceful break.
