Hacienda Pacifica is a 5 building, 20 unit gated community, located 5 minutes from the vibrant city center of Quepos. Quepos is regionally known as the gateway to Manuel Antonio National Park. It also boasts the world class Marina Pez Vela, which offers sports and recreational charter boats as well shops and restaurants.
Hermoso Colibri will provide you with all the comforts of home, while being close to many major tourist attractions. This newly updated villa offers an equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and dining table, living room with TV, on site washer/dryer, screened porch on the main floor and off the main bedroom. Two bedrooms with plush hotel style mattresses and handmade furniture with plenty of storage. Two full bathrooms, all with fresh linens and towels, glass enclosed showers. High speed internet and cable provided, outdoor shower to wash off after a day at the beach.
Enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the furnished patio while watching the hummingbirds and the butterflies fluttering through the manicured yard. The covered patios are excellent relaxation spaces, even during the rainstorms that sweep through the area, especially during the rainy season. You can also enjoy any meal on the patio dining table or play a game of cards. Spend the day in the community pool, getting a wonderful glowing tan or reading a book.
If you are more of the adventurous type, Hermoso Colibri is close to many of the areaā€™s tourist attractions. Manuel Antonio National Park is 7.1 KM (17 minutes) away. Here you will find several public beaches and restaurants for that afternoon cerveza. An hour north, you will find many of small beach towns, like Playa Hermosa, Jaco, Playa Herradura. An hour south, you will find the town of Uvita and the beautiful Marino Ballena National Park, which has the infamous Whaleā€™s Tail.

Wonderful stay, great location

The property was exceptionally clean and well-equipped, with an unbeatable location close to all the restaurants, beaches, and attractions in Quepos. Nicole and Jairo were wonderful hostsā€”always responsive and incredibly helpful in making our stay in the area as enjoyable as possible. I recommend this place and would love to stay again.

We loved the condo. It was clean and well equipped. It is gated with 24 hour guards who were very helpful and friendly, so we felt very safe. The area behind the condos on the next road over were not so great. Just a poorer area. We found that a lot of the tours would not pick up in the area. Use of taxis was more reliable than Ubers. Not within walking distance of anything. But we did have a rental car so it did not deter us. Overall I would recommend the condo. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again if we come back to Quepos.

First visit to Costa Rica

We drove over to Quepos from San Jose with a friend who lives in San Jose. Beautiful location, very nice condo, lots of upgrades. Very comfortable, loved the screened in porches, felt very safe, great pool. Easy drive to Manuel Antonio, and very close to the marina.

Beautiful property

We really enjoyed sitting out on the screened porches and identifying the tropical birds. The pool and grounds are beautiful and secure. There is construction underway next door which can be noisy, but we were gone to the beach and park most of the day, so no big deal.

we enjoyed the home and property. Beautiful pool, very nice neighbors (mostly expats). Gate guards were super nice and called us taxis as needed. The house had nice beds, towels, kitchen pan/spices/dishes/etc. Laundry was nice to have on site and go home with clean clothes. Made it easy to pack less and only use carryons. Very close to town, just a 4 taxi ride. We didn't rent a car and relied on taxis/ubers or tour rides. The local people were amazing. Very close to Manuel Antonio. Great restaurants nearby. I would stay here again. We enjoyed it.

Charming place to stay

We had a fantastic stay at this house! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The house was stocked with an abundance of high-quality amenities, making our stay both comfortable and convenient. We really appreciated the added security of the gated complex with a 24-hour guardian, which gave us extra peace of mind even though the area itself felt very safe.The location of the house was perfect, close to plenty of activities and just a short drive from the town of Quepos. The swimming pool and its surrounding area were also beautifully kept, offering a relaxing spot to unwind.Overall, this house met our expectations in every way, and we wouldn't hesitate to rent it again in the future. Highly recommend!

Great condo for family with teens

The condo worked well for our family of 4 with 3 beds. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, silverware, utensils and small appliances. Of note, there is not a full-size stove, only a counter-top unit. Having 2 bathrooms and a washer/dryer was super helpful. There were plenty of towels for the bathrooms and the pool. Location was convenient for all of our outings. Screened in porch was a bonus. Make sure to bring your own shampoo/body wash. When you book your stay, request that the host turn on the porch lights and a/c ahead of time, something we didn't think about and wished we would have done. We would use this host & condo again. Home away from home!

Fantastic stay! First of all Iā€™m so glad we stayed in Quepos rather than busy Manuel Antonio. The location made it so easy to get around and for activities in the area. As for the condo, the owners were so nice and helpful. Check in was easy and the condo was spotless and clean upon arrival. We enjoyed being able to spread out and really relax. Loved the large windows and the covered patio. The yard was beautiful and very private. Sometimes I have a hard time sleeping on vacation, but not here. The beds were so comfy and the air conditioners kept the rooms nice and cool. The security was really good here and they were also really nice. My kids liked to walk the property and night to look for critters. Alfredo one of the security guys was always pointing out cool things for them to see. Hopefully we can return soon!

A nice oasis to come home to

The condo was clean and well equipped. Bed was comfortable. It was really hot but had great air conditioning. The upstairs hallway and bathroom were really warm unless the bedroom doors were left open. The kitchen and living area are really nice. We enjoyed the pool. Everything is close the pool, and your car are just steps away. People are very friendlly. Close to town. Nicole was so easy to contact and very quick to respond. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!

Our own jungle botanical garden

We stayed at the Hermoso Colibri unit for 11 nights. This unit is spectacular! It certainly lives up to its name, Beautiful Hummingbird. This unit has large windows and glass doors so we felt as if we were living in a private jungle garden, surrounded by trees, green plants, colorful flowers, and a variety of birds. There's even a friendly community cat that stops by occasionally. We spent many hours relaxing in the tranquil privacy of the upstairs and downstairs patios enjoying the Pura Vida! Not only is this unit well-stocked with kitchen, bathroom, and cleaning supplies but it is exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated with local art. The beds were very comfortable. The air-conditioning, the ceiling fans, the dishwasher, the washer/dryer, the strong WiFi, and the TVs all worked well and were easy-to-use. There was a binder in the unit which included easy-to-follow instructions. The owners were extremely prompt in responding to any questions we had and the maintenance staff were quick to fix any issues. There is a lovely swimming pool in the complex, too. At Hermoso Colibri, we even had our own outdoor shower, clothesline, and plenty of beach towels to use with the pool. There are security guards on duty 24/7 at the complex who were very helpful to us throughout our stay. There are 2 mini supers (convenience stores) within a 3 minute walk. There are a variety of restaurants, shops, and some larger supermarkets in town that you can reach by taxi or Uber.

Lovely Stay!!

Absolutely loved the condominium, it was pristine. The screened porches on both floors were really nice especially in the morning. The small touches (beach towels, cooler, sunscreen, washer/dryer, laundry detergent etc) made the stay even that much better. My family of four felt very comfortable and it made for a great vacation. I highly recommend to anyone and we would return without any hesitation.
