If you are looking for a secluded location, 300 feet off the main road look no further.
Enjoy spectacular ocean views, wildlife, all from your 250 sq ft private veranda while still receiving the service and amenities you would from a high class hotel. Relax in the pool or enjoy a fabulous meal at our ocean-view restaurant, or indulge in the spa and yoga studio next door.
This unit features one queen bed in bedroom and on the veranda there is plenty of seating a hammock and another TV. There is a mini refrigerator, coffee maker, A/C, ceiling fans and flat screen TV. The bathroom has a indoor/outdoor shower. Approx 500 square feet. Sleeps 2. rates vary per season from $79-$109.

Great Stay

These place is perfect for two adults! The views from the balcony are awesome and we loved starting and ending our day out there! Itā€™s also so close to restaurants and attractions, very convenient!

Amazing view and great location!

Perfect location to go with the perfect view! Room was simple, but patio area with view was incredible! Great location for restaurants, national park, and the beach! We walked twice to the beach and back. It is a trek back uphill but we are pretty active and it wasnā€™t too bad! Go ahead and book this property!

Visiting Manual Antonio

The view was quite nice. Nearby construction was very noisy. Really liked all the good information you sent in advance! Agua Azul restaurant next door has good views, good food and very nice staff.

Wonderful location

As advertisedā€¦View was outstanding, bed comfortable and a/c worked great. Felt very safe and secure, convenient to buses, banks and stores. Worth mentioning are there are a good number of stair steps from the pool to the roomā€¦provided quite the work out! All in all very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful and convenient location!

Anna and Richard provide a beautiful and convenient location in the Manuel Antonio area to easily access all the fun activities to enjoy nearby! The national park and local free beach are right down the road and very easy to get to by bus. The vacation property is right next door to both a drugstore and a delicious restaurant called Agua Azul. You will find all the essentials you need in and around the property!

Superbe view and great location

Great place for a nice couple's retreat in the jungle but right in the heart of Manuel Antonio. Although a bit dated, we were comfortable at this place. Henry, the caretaker was always available for help or recommendations. Bed would be due for a refresh - but otherwise we enjoyed our time spent here.

Just as advertised

We enjoyed our stay at this location, it was so convenient to local shops, market, and the local bus line, so unless you need to leave the area, the bus takes you into Quepos and into Manuael Antonio park, don't need a car. Richard's tips were invaluable, so make sure you read them before you come. Communication to the owners and to the property manager were also easy. Would stay there again.

Great view and convenient location

Easy to rent, we had a little issue with the host on arrival. The cooking arrangements were minimal- just a small refrigerator and a coffee maker. Great places to eat in the area though and the view from the deck was fantastic. Quite convenient to Manual Antonio National Park.

Amazing views and great location!

We had a great time at Richard and Anna's place. The apartment was clean and cozy, and the deck was a perfect place for views of jungle and ocean. Imagine watching the sunrise/sunset with a beverage or relaxing in the hammock while birds fly overhead and monkeys play in the trees... Good restaurants within walking distance and a short drive to parks and beaches. There is some noise from local restaurants but the apartment is still super private. Would book again for sure!

Great views

The property is very much as described. It has beautiful views and a great outdoor sitting area. The property manager was helpful in giving suggestions. The bed is small and the pillows are pretty flat, but the mattress is pretty comfortable. The unit could use some updating overall, but it was great to have a place with hot water, air conditioning, and so close to everything.

Great time

We had a nice time at Anna and Richards villa! The view is breathtaking, everything is close. Walking distance to all restaurants. A few beautiful beaches 10 minutes drive. You donā€™t need a car. A bus or a taxi is easy and hustle free. I was with my 6 year old son. We had an amazing time. Highly recommend this place!

Relax and enjoy the view

Such a great room with a gorgeous patio view! The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is spacious but the highlight is the outdoor patio! We saw all the exotic birds, monkeys, butterflies and gorgeous sunsets while relaxing in the hammock just outside the bedroom. Itā€™s a beautiful view of the ocean and walking distance from so many restaurants, pharmacy, grocery and even the Espadilla beach, if you donā€™t mind a decent hike. The property owners and manager were very attentive. It was perfect and I hope to come back again!

Relaxing and Beaitiful

What a wonderful place to view the ocean and animals! Every morning you can hear the howler monkeys move, scarlet macaws grace the sky, and you can take a siesta in the most comfortable hammock ever. Henry Guzman was most accommodating and helped me figure out the hot water which was most appreciated. The apartment is so close to many things including our favorite restaurant Emilioā€™s Cafe. This is a perfect location and great place to relax and unwind. Canā€™t wait to come back!

Small but cute and perfect for our stay

Pretty basic: bedroom, bath, outside covered deck, coffeemaker, small fridge. The view is stunning, itā€™s situated really well on the top of the hill with lots of really good restaurants all around. We ended up taking the bus down to the beach one day just hanging out, renting an umbrella and lounges and drinks and swimming reading. One day by the pool painting, reading, swimming. We did a fun catamaran cruise with snorkeling and dinner. Not too big about maybe 20 people, great crew, good simple meal. Henry (the VRBO property manager helped arrange it.

Richard & Anna are trustworthy & have earned the premier host by us !

Our stay was memorable for many reasons. Foremost was the attention from Richard & Anna to assure any problems that arose were dealt with in a timely manner with the property manager Henryā€™s assistance. Cafe Millagro for breakfast & Mariposa Restaurant were highlights. Richard & Anna recommending Dennis Reyes to drive the 5 hrs from Liberia went smoothly & he was such a delight . We trusted Epic Adventures for all our toursā€” RainMaker, Manuel Antonio National Park, Catamaran Sunset cruise ! Hope to return next year with family to have them experience Pura Vida !

Our stay was ok. Richard and Anna were great with communication but unfortunately we ran into bad luck , causing just a 3 star rating.When we arrived, the shower floor had dirt, which I had to clean up. On that same night we had no hot water and the AC went out in the middle of the night. Hot water was fixed on Day 2, but the AC needed a part and was not fixed until our last day, Day 3.The hosts offered the loft below us, but it was too inconvenient to go back and forth and it had not been cleaned, since it was being cleaned upon our departure.We always enjoy our time in Manuel Antonio, but as I said, we ran into some bad luck this time around with our accommodations.

Head to Manuel Antonio locate agua azul on your right hand side and your there. Henry will give you your villa # easy as that. Excellent location down the path and to the right is a restaurant and to the left is super market next to it is a bank very convenient. Down the road is beautiful beaches and national park. We stayed 4 nights had time to do everything on richards tips list (which we highly recommend) and then some plus take in the excellent view from the balcony every evening. Walking distance from great food with live bands or minutes away from a nature hike away from it all. Great place, great food, great people. Would highly recommend

The property managers/owners were very helpful and responsive. The view is stunning and the area is very walkable. Everything you need is closeby. I never used the pool, but instead I walked down to Ecotica to use theirs which was in the shade (20$ daypass). The indoor outdoor shower was wonderful but the private patio area was the best part. The view from the hammock was beautiful. Although you are in the jungle there are barely any bugs due to the lizards eating them all. I loved having them in my room and balcony ready to eat anything that flies. I also saw monkeys in the trees nearby. Richardā€™s tips were spot on too.
