This property has it all.. during our stay we were able to keep all 6 kids and the adults bisy for 10day!! Clean, safe and plenty to doā€¦ couldnt have ask for much more

Beautiful location with spectacular open water views. Property is perfect for large groups and family reunions. Kitchen is well equipped, beds were comfortable. The dock was enjoyed by all - string rays, parrot fish, tarpon, nurse sharks, barracuda, dolphins lobsters and sea turtles were observed. Would definitely book again. Come prepared for no see-ums :)

Wedding week

Our family stayed here including grandmother and my husbands father and siblings with our children and nieces and nephews ages from 75-10yrs. Everyone enjoyed their stay, itā€™s an absolutely beautiful property and the property manager works hard to keep the grounds and pools to perfection. We so SO many neat things in the ocean right from the dock, sharks, parrot head fish, lobsters, snooks, it was incredible not to mention the SUNSET. We have incredible sunset photos for our wedding. The beds were amazing as well, I had a great rest when I would finally go to bed, the pillows, mattresses and sheets were all so comfy and soft!

Perfect Family Vacation

This house was perfect for our family vacation. My husband and I rented it for our family. A total of 10 adults and 5 children ages 5 and under. The guest house was perfect for my daughters family of 5. The pools were clean and maintained while we were there. Nice chairs for lounging around the pool and a deck with a grill and 2 outdoor dinning tables. Plenty of room for everything. John the property manager was easy to get in touch with and responded right away.

Amazing, Relaxing, Large Private Estate

We have 5 couples that travel every year and I do the planning - this house was beyond expectation. Property management was top of the line - the pools, the house(s) were clean, the beds were very comfortable. The property grounds were well maintained. The dock for fishing was amazing - several Parrot fish, we've heard are great for eating, but then realized their purpose and did catch and release - Key West is quite a distance, but in all honesty, the middle keys are where it's at - Relaxing and beautiful with the best weather around - we will be back - Thank you!!

Touch of Paradise

Our family of 11 just returned from Southern Diversion and this was the best property we have ever rented!! Spacious, gorgeous, clean, lovely pools and wonderful beach area for the little ones. Can't forget to thank John, the property manager, for his responsiveness and friendliness throughout our stay. Wonderful!!!!!

Beautiful property and location. Clean, however , screened in porch had torn screens which allows bugs in and furniture was in very poor condition.Not stocked at all: only one kitchen towel, no dish rags, no dishwasher detergent, no Kleenex, 4 wine glasses (sleeps 18), dishes and pans in poor condion. Light bulbs out, no sharp knives. Sectional couch in poor condition. Dining table only seated 7.no umbrella for the upper deck.

Painfully, Beautiful, Wonderful stay!

Beautiful compound and wonderful sunsets with amazing views! This would have been perfect location if the information regarding beds and bathrooms were matched up in away that was meaningful in the listing! While the facilities are functional, age and use have done them no favors. The property manager was very responsive to the plumbing and sewer issues. The pools and hot tubs were very nice but hammock was broken down! Overall our family vacation was wonderful in spite of all of the deficiencies!

Great time

We had a wonderful stay.Property location is excellent.The property manager was very attentive.The views are exceptional and the dock worked perfectly for the boat we rented.Only issue was main room floor was a little ā€œstickyā€. I should have called property manager and he would have sent the cleaning crew out . I instead bought a mop and cleaned it myself. Other than that , the house scored a perfect 10.No regrets at all from our large family

Great family vacation spot

Our family loved this vacation home! It was clean, well stocked kitchen, very responsive property manager. We would love to vacation here again. We loved the pools, fishing pier and many spaces to hangout.

House review

Everything was good. I did feel however the property could have supplied more bath towels and blankets. Also the pools needs some cleaning. There were a lot of bugs. Very buggy. Think you can spray more for that. Other than that the house and view was great!

Just what we were looking for

We were celebrating my wifeā€™s 40th birthday. There were 17 people in our group. Adults and children. Something for everyone to do. We enjoyed relaxing at the property by the pools, fishing from the dock, kayaking and paddle boarding. We went scuba diving with better than most scuba, deep sea fishing on the tail walker. We hired chef Heather for several dinners. It was an amazing trip.

Michigan Family Vacation

Our family takes an annual trip together, there were 17 of us this time. The property had something for everyone, best aspects are the sunsets and the infinity pool. The property manager was one of the best we've ever had- very responsive.

Paradise

This property is amazing. It accommodated our family perfectly, we appreciated the three living spaces. The kitchen in the main house is large which allowed many prepping and cooking at the same time. The large pans need to be replaced due to peeling coating, everything else was great. The outside was amazing, such a beautiful estate. The infinity pool and hottub are protected from the wind, so even the tornado high winds didnt stop our fun. It was a vacation to remember, thanks.

Grandkids hideout.

All 7 kids loved having their own house with pool. Girls and boys had their own rooms. Sunsets were spectacular. Boys had room to play and girls grabbed some rays. Fishing was great. Excellent for BIG family.

Great experience - almost perfect house

Our week at Southern Diversion was very very nice ā€“ but not perfect. The buildings and grounds were exceptional. The house was very clean, furniture was in good condition, and the beds were comfortable. Snorkeling was a wonderful experience, the infinity pool was a big favorite, and the Tiki hut was perfect. We had a family group of fifteen people 18 to 85 years old and everyone enjoyed the week immensely. The not-so-perfect issues were lack of bathrooms and shortage of dining table space. Note that people using the Casita will not have a bathroom of their own - they have to go into the main house and use a bathroom there. The guest house has two shared bathrooms for three bedrooms (beds for 9 people) ā€“ not horrible, but certainly not up to standard for this price range. The dining area has one table with 10 chairs ā€“ not really sufficient for a large group that likes to eat together. We knew this from the website info and were able to move a table and chairs from the porch into the dining area. That worked reasonably well ā€“ but certainly not perfect. Access to Key West was good ā€“ about 1 hr 15 min drive and nearby activities were plentiful. Boat rental and fishing charters were readily available in Marathon along with a large variety of restaurants and good shopping. We had a wonderful week and would happily return in future.
