Showcasing large decks, whitewater river views, more than enough living space and easy local access to top it off! This home is located within a gated community in the Nantahala Gorge off Highway 74/19 on the north side of the Nantahala National Forest.

The home features 4 king bedrooms and a bunk room. With a master on main and master upstairs along with private bathrooms with walk-in showers and large vanities. Luxury mattresses, bamboo bedding and smart televisions will have you wanting to stay in bed.

The spacious family room and chef’s kitchen offer a cozy place to gather around the fireplace or dinner table together. Enjoy the mountain air on the back deck while watching rafters and kayakers float by. The terrace level offers various games such as pool and shuffleboard along with a living area complete with couches and large smart television.

There are also two sets of sliding glass doors to view the river and walk right out onto the back deck just steps away from the river.

Here you can enjoy a hot tub or fire pit both looking out to the river. Listening to the river while enjoying the decks and back yard is our favorite part of this home. It is like nothing you’ve ever experienced. During the busy season you can sit outside and watch the kayakers, rafters, and paddle boarders daily.

Trout fisherman? Enjoy all the trout fishing you can dream of right in the back yard! This is a fisherman’s paradise.

Living area: The spacious open living space has a large sectional as well as chairs surrounding a large fireplace with a mounted 85” Smart TV. Also featuring a wonderful wet bar with an ice maker, pull out drawer refrigerators, and a sink.

Kitchen & Dining: The Living space flows into the open dining and kitchen area with an island to seat 4 and a large dining table to seat 8 more. The Kitchen itself has a 48” monogram range and oven, monogram smart microwave with oven feature, monogram pull out drawer refrigerators for extra storage on long stays, dishwasher, and a larger refrigerator and freezer to accommodate larger groups. Nespresso and Drips coffee maker, crockpots, air fryers, and other appliances just to make sure you have everything you could need for a long stay.

The Retreat offers 5 Bedrooms. Each bed has a memory foam mattress with luxury bamboo bedding, gel pillows, and down alternative comforters. Two of the bedrooms are masters with private bathrooms. Each have large walk-in showers and stand alone bathtubs. The two master bedrooms also have 55’ smart tvs. Other two king rooms share a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The 5th bedroom is a bunk room on the terrace level which makes for a great kids room. New full bath added beside the bunk room

Game room: Equipped with a pool table, shuffleboard, ping pong table, and 85’ smart tv, this game room will have everyone wanting to play!

Hot Tub: Easy access right off the terrace level.

Back deck: This serene expansion of the indoor living space on the main level also has an outdoor dining, grill, and seating area.

Fire pit: Gather outside around the firepit and enjoy the Nantahala National Forest surrounding you, while listening to the peaceful sound of the Nantahala River.

Spacious parking:
Don’t worry about crowding everyone into one vehicle to get here, enjoy space for up to 5 vehicles with garage bay parking for one available at request only.

Kayaking and white water rafting:
Try your hand at kayaking or white water rafting the Nantahala yourself! Head to the NOC, right down the street if you need to rent one or do a tour.

Fishing:
The outdoorsman can fish the Nantahala River directly from the backyard. A trout fisherman’s dream.
