Come home to a gated, fenced, one acre country setting, 1.5 miles from Healdsburg's charming wine country plaza. Step through the large living room French doors onto a deck that wraps around this private house with it's level fenced lawn with views across the Russian River and a sunset vista to the western hills, shaded by large Redwoods. Relax on the covered porch with peaceful fountains, large fenced private deck with Jacuzzi Spa, infrared spa, Weber barbecue, outdoor dining table with umbrella.

Wonderful for a long stay

The property is private, stunning, and very peaceful. Easy walk to town. Kitchen is incredibly well appointed. The owner and property manager were terrific. We will go back.

A certain peaceful feeling ....

Upon arriving at the Healdsburg house we were immediately taken by the peaceful feeling that eminated from the house.The inside of the house is comfortable with special touches that made it feel like home. The views and surrounding area are beautiful. We were so happy that our dog was able to join us!She felt right at home also! It was the perfect weekend and we were only sorry we couldn't stay longer! We'll be back for sure!!! Oh ...forgot to mention the jacuzzi! Talk about peaceful!!

A lovely base to explore wine country!

This home was a wonderful base for our month in the wine country- -it is beautifully decorated with quality furniture, comfortable beds and linens. We enjoyed cooking in the very well equipped kitchen, furnished with quality appliances, cookware and basic pantry items. The hot tub was very private with a great sunset or starlight view! The fenced yard within a yard was a favorite of our dog. The house is about a mile and half walk to the square which we did almost every day. The owner gave good recommendations for activities, restaurants and stores in the area and was available for questions. We enjoyed the nicely furnished deck with eating spaces and lounging areas (even in cool February) This home is about an hour from Napa- it’s centrally located for Sonoma county- near dry creek valley, Russian river valley, Alexander valley and other famous appellations. Healdsburg is a beautiful wine country town with a center square park- lined with wonderful restaurants and shops. We would definitely love to return to this wonderful area and house.

Oasis in wine country

My husband and I spent 2 months living and working in this beautiful property for the summer, and we would highly recommend to anyone. Beautiful gardens, cozy house full of art, books, music and cooking supplies which made us feel at home. WiFi is excellent and property owner/manager were always very responsive and helpful. Thank you!

Oasis

We had the great fortune of renting Andrea's house for the month of October, and it was heaven. The yard is spectacular. Waking up to the misty views of redwoods and mountains across the vista is a memory I will always cherish. Kitchen is great. The whole house is set up perfectly to feel at home in. We hope to visit again next year!

A local's opinion

We had reason to stay at this property for two months this winter. The property is very comfortable and quite inviting. It is not ultra impressive in the Ohhhhhhh sense, but is cozy and heart-warming in the ahhhhhhh sense. We would gladly stay here again in the future. The location is quite convenient to the Healdsburg and associated wine regions that surround it. It is located above a main road serving Fitch Mountain, but is sheltered with elevation and a just-right fence that blocks much of the traffic noise without diminishing the views. With a southern exposure, it gets good light throughout the day. The beds, though not kings, were quite comfortable. Andrea, the owner, was always pleasant and very accommodating. Don't expect modern top-of-the-line kitchen or baths, but do expect to feel right at home. Not breath-taking, but stress-taking...

Couldn't have found a more beautiful home

My 96 year old mom, standard poodle and I were so fortunate to be able to spend two months in Andrea's beautiful home. We were so comfortable here we really didn't want to leave. We enjoyed many cool summer mornings and evenings sitting on the peaceful back deck watching the birds, squirrels and deer. We went to the plaza is the mornings to walk our dog and people watch or in the evenings we would go and have an ice cream cone from Noble Folk. Healdsburg is such a cute town and Andrea's home is in the perfect location. This is a vacation home you will not forget.

Coming back - soon!

We were SO comfortable in this home - perfect location and the view of the mountains was an added plus. It was so relaxing to sit out on back porch. The house was so clean. Healdsburg is an adorable town. We have been to the wine country a number of times though this was the first time that we spent a whole week there. We would most definitely stay in this home again and have already recommended it to others.

Amazing HOME!

The location of this wonderful home is fantastic! (definitely a home and not just a house!) Close to the town centre, yet feels like you are in a country oasis! The property is even more beautiful than the photos; the yard, deck and hot-tub areas are fabulously private, beautifully furnished and well maintained. The interior is also wonderful with many different options for seating / dining. The kitchen is actually a cook's kitchen and more than fully equipped - the best "rental" kitchen we have ever been in! We will definitely be back to enjoy again!

Quintessential Wine Country Experience

We belong to several wine clubs and have been visiting Healdsburg for several years now. It's always been enjoyable, but this home is very special and we had our best stay in the area so far thanks in large part to this amazing property. This warm and inviting home is absolutely spotless with nice supplies in place for cooking and relaxing. The gardens, plants and overall groundskeeping were perfect with sweeping views of the valley and complete privacy us city dwellers cherished. Proximity to the square is very reasonable and easy to access. We originally hadn't planned to do much cooking but found this house so lovely that we elected to grill a few dinners and eat breakfast on the beautiful back patio instead of going in to town. This place feels like you've been invited to a close friend's beloved home to stay rather than a vacation rental. The owner was responsive and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely return in the future!

Lovely, serene home and setting

We stayed here with our two grown daughters over the Memorial Day weekend and thoroughly enjoyed this property. The house is warmly furnished and very comfortable throughout, and all amenities are thought of. The kitchen is very well equipped if you want to do cooking, and easily spacious enough for 6 or more. The hot tub and outside seating is charming. The house is very close to Healdsburg Plaza, a number of wineries and great restaurants, and other fun activities like kayaking, all of which we did. The owner seems lovely and leaves all kinds of helpful tips and suggestions. We would very highly recommend this property.

excellent wine country getaway

This house was a great place for many reasons. The location in Healdsburg was perfect with a number of shops and restaurants located in the town center, just a few minutes away. The location is secluded with trees and a beautiful yard. A quiet location but not a long journey to any number of great activities.The house itself is very nicely decorated and furnished with quality furniture. We would definitely stay here again. A great place to explore the wine country and relax.

Ideal House for a girls weekend trip to Russian River and Dry Creek

House was wonderful and cozy - not lacking anything! The hot tub in the beautiful backyard was such a bonus. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! The owner was very easy to deal with as well, which is another big plus.

Great vacation

Great house with beautiful location and view! Wonderful to spend time in the mornings and evenings on the patio overlooking the valley. The home had all the accommodations we needed and it was nice to be able to eat in every once in a while - fully stocked kitchen, outdoor grill, etc. The home is well kept and very comfortable. Close to town and all the attractions you would want in Sonoma valley - Muir Woods, Ziplining through the redwoods, wine tasting at all the wineries, etc. Would certainly recommend staying at this property.

Clean, cozy, perfect location

Two couples in our 50's had a wonderful 4 night stay in this spacious yet cozy house. Perfectly located for wine tasting in Napa and Sonoma, just a couple of miles up the hill from Healdsburg. House was clean and had everything we needed, beds were really comfortable, kitchen was well appointed for cooking up our farmers market purchases. The jacuzzi was great after a hard day of wine tasting. Beautiful garden and grounds- lovely to sit outside in the different sitting areas. Fireplace was non operational-if thats important to you. Be sure to have dinner at Bistro Ralph in Healdsburg and visit Petroni vineyards (by appointment)

Healdsburg Home

We enjoyed our stay at your Healdsburg house very much. The location was very perfect for our visits to the wineries in the Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys. We enjoyed coming back to the house in the evenings, sitting out on the deck, relaxing and grilling our dinner for the evening. The views were beautiful as were the grounds. I honestly can't think of anything that could have made our stay any nicer. We will definitely recommend your home to anyone who will be visiting the area.

Wonderful Home Away!

This was a lovely home and the perfect getaway for my husband and me! We wanted to get out of San Francisco for the weekend with another couple and none of us had ever been to Healdsburg. We fell in love with the town and this house. We hope to make several more visits! It was the perfect retreat from our hectic San Fran lives and we couldn't be happier with everything about our stay.

Just perfect.

What a fantastic property! It is perfect for two couples. The house layout is thoughtful: nearly every room in the house has access to the gorgeous backyard and patio. The kitchen is big, cozy, well-appointed, and a natural congregation point. The genius of the house is that the kitchen can be closed off from the rest of the house allowing those who are early to bed or late sleepers to slumber while the late night/early morning folks go about their business. We were two couples with small babies and we were in heaven. We could confidently put the babies to sleep and carry on with our evening knowing that we would not wake the little ones. The yard was gorgeous and perfect for reading, relaxing, and a glass of wine (or two). We loved, loved, loved all the outdoor seating on the generous and amply shaded patio. The hot tub was bliss. Plenty of stars at night and deer, hawks, and hummingbirds made daily visits while we were there. Not to mention the numerous excellent wineries and dining nearby. We will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful!

Andrea, Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage!! I stayed in your cottage with my daughter and parents while we were visiting Healdsburgh for my nieces wedding. It was perfect! We had a very busy weekend and were so comfortable in your home. Everything was beautiful and very clean! My parent's thanked me all weekend for renting us such a wonderful place for us to stay! You were so easy to work with and helpful during the entire rental process! I would highly recommend your wonderful home for anyone's visit to the Healdsburgh area!!

This wonderful spot has been my home for the last 14 years, I have seen Healdsburg grow from a small farming community to a chic vacation spot in the best of Wine Country. I think Dry Creek, Alexander Valley and the Russian River Appellations are the best in Northern California, and I have a special spot there that I think you will enjoy as much as I do.

I love enjoying the hot tub on the deck under the redwood trees, watching and listening to all the birds that visit my feeders and garden. The sound of the fountains, the perfumed air of jasmine, mock orange and other blooming flowers are very soothing and relaxing.
