This place is great! Because of the screened-in porch we were able to play cards and games into the evening. It is a short walk to Sister Bay, a breakfast spot, the grocery store, Pirates Cove and Johnson's Park. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking, and the living room and kitchen have plenty of room.

Thanks so much for your kind review. Glad to hear you could take advantage of the businesses close by and walk there. We also have a new coffee shop/wine bar which just opened, attached to the Peach Barn brewery, and again only a few blocks away. Sounds like you were able to enjoy the screened in porch with your family. We were happy to have you and hope you keep us in mind when you visit Door Cty in the future. Holly Becker

We came to Sister Bay Wisconsin for a wedding event and found this home available when we searched for places to stay in this area. When we arrived, we discovered that this is a relatively brand new home that looks barely used. It was extremely beautiful and very well laid out. Beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The homeowners were very accommodating for such a beautiful brand new home! It is very close to town and has all the amenities. I would definitely stay in this home again when I am in the area.

Beautiful property in the heart of Door County. Downtown Sister Bay is walkable and includes great shops, restaurants and the beach. Grocery store is close so you can pick up food to cook in the well appointed kitchen. Beds are comfortable. House is in a quiet neighborhood, front porch and back screened in patio are great for morning coffee and lounging. Host is responsive. Great homebase for exploring all that door county offers.

Amazing place to call home for a while!

We stayed at this beautiful property with our 2 teens and their grandparents. We loved the large living space, comfortable beds, and especially the front and back porches where we could enjoy the surroundings. The host was very responsive to our questions and made us feel welcome. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

What a delightful place. We loved the feel of being in nature, yet 5 minutes from town. All the facilities were state of the art- and the screened in porch was the place we spent the most time when we were there. All the spaces were very conducive for hanging out- though we did wonderful day trips every day. Lovely hosts. We give it a 5.

Family getaway

We visit Sister Bay every summer with my husband’s family. This was by far our favorite place we’ve stayed! The home is new, and beautiful with plenty of space for our family of 4. It’s in a great location, walking distance to downtown. Holly was quick to respond, and very accommodating! We hope to visit again next summer!

Reunion

We had a wonderful stay at Cedar Pines Retreat! It was even better than the photos we saw on the listing. Holly thought of everything, there was nothing we needed for our three night stay. My husband and I reunited with friends we’ve known for 40 years and had an amazing time enjoying the indoor and outdoor fire on cool days. Super cozy! We had a great time in a wonderful location.

Coastal Farmhouse

We loved Holly's house. It was so beautiful and modern, yet comfortable and cozy. It was a rainy weekend when we visited so we were very glad to have a nice place to hang out. Holly was very easy to communicate with. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient. The house is stocked with everything you would need. Thanks Holly!

Even better than it looks online!

When we walked into the house for the first time, we were so impressed. Not only is the house itself beautiful, but it is fully stocked with everything. Towels, kitchen supplies, laundry, plenty of small blankets for inside and out. And the screened-in porch makes it a dream. We sat out there constantly, and even saw a family of deer in the woods. Being able to park in the garage is such a plus in a VRBO, and Holly was a wonderful host. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Sister Bay getaway

We stayed here at end of June for a family vacation. We had a very enjoyable time staying here. The location of the property is very good as you can walk to the attractions in Sister Bay or a short drive if you don't want to walk back up the hill from the beach area. The house is very well kept and provided plenty of space for our family. The owners have thought of almost everything you need during the stay and have everything well organized. The screened in deck is very nice and we enjoyed eating several meals outside on the deck when we did not dine out.The owner is very responsive and has very deep knowledge of all the awesome things to do or places to eat in Sister Bay and the surrounding area. They are very dedicated to making sure the stay goes well.I would definitely recommend this property for anyone visiting Door County who would like to stay near Sister Bay.

Sobre o anfitrião

Anfitrião: Holly Becker

Imagem do perfil do anfitrião
Larry and I have been coming to Door County for 40+ years, including our honeymoon. We reside in a suburb of Milwaukee and enjoy getting away to Door County during all of the seasons. Thus we know the area well and wanted to have another place to call “home”, where we can savor much family time. We hope you will enjoy and care for our house, as much as we do. We are available to offer ideas, assistance and any help with planning your perfect getaway to Sister Bay and the rest of Door County.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We built this home in 2024 and love the wooded aspect of the yard with south facing views for lovely sunsets. Deer, turkeys, fox and many birds frequent our yard, yet we can walk to the Lake and beach, and many nearby attractions (i.e. goats on the roof of Al Johnson’s), restaurants and shops.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The entire spacious house with front and back porches is what you will be renting, so there is lots of room to spread out, relax and rejuvenate. Also the quiet atmosphere but closeness to all that Door County has to offer makes this location a winner.
