Everything about this listing is accurate. Based on reviews they seemed to have corrected or communicate clearly on any previous concerns. Host was extremely available (if needed. we did not need during our stay) Coming from out of town it would have been helpful to have a little insight to any wildlife/things to watch for and/or list of recommended places to visit, etc. The outdoor space is incredible with beautiful decks/seating/etc. Very clean. Well stocked kitchen. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Everything about the listing is accurate. The host was incredibly proactive and reachable if needed (did not need assistance while we were there) The open space of kitchen/dining/living room is lovely. The outdoor space is incredible. Unfortunately due to weather and other scheduled off-site events we had planned, we did not get to use it as much as we'd like. If wanting to do on river activities plan ahead with local marina's or inquire w/ host. While the property has boat & wave runners, they are not rentable.

We called this the Swiss-Army Knife house! It had EVERYTHING you could or would think of...a funnel in the kitchen to outdoor grills. The host was amazing and responded quickly from the very beginning. The house is beautiful, clean and located in the river with a nice dock with hanging chairs. This was a very pleasant surprise. It was amazing and i would book again and again.

Great family vacation

The house was great and the owner is very nice and easy to work with. The house was perfect, the kids had their own space upstairs and there was plenty of room for everyone to do what they wanted. The weather wasn’t great so it was nice to have this beautiful home to hang out in. Would stay there again. Loved it!

Can’t wait to go back in the summertime to swim in the river as well, it was too cold this time. Had a great time with family and friends celebrating my sons wedding before and after!

Relaxing atmosphere at cabin

This riverfront cabin was excellent for a home away from home for our family. There were 9 of us ranging in age from 3 - 66. We had plenty of room and the beds were comfortable. We watched tv at night and enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. A neighbor took us on a boat trip for water sports in the river. That was very nice. We enjoyed the pier, swings, and quite relaxing atmosphere that we experienced at this cabin. I would stay here again. Very close to NASA and all the other things we did as a family.

Fabulous Family Time Celebrating Birthdays

This cabin and its setting on the San Jacinto River was a beautiful place to celebrate the birthday of a couple of our family members. The cabin itself was just the right mix of bedrooms/bathrooms to make us all feel comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped for all the meals we prepared there. There were plentiful activities available for all of us, from 6 months old up to 74. “Amazingly Beautiful “ are the words which come to mind in describing the setting of this cabin. Expansive windows across the front of the cabin allowed us to thoroughly experience this beauty from the inside and multitude of seating options outside offered a closer examination. Mariana was a delight to work with. She responded very quickly to our questions, and was very helpful. We recommend this property very highly!

We enjoyed the property and our stay very much. The house was perfect and the owner was very helpful even as she was out of the country. Had an a/c issue and she had someone there within 30 minutes. Could t have asked for a better stay. Thank you

Beautiful House on the Beautiful San Jacinto River

Plenty of space for our large family/friend group for the 4th of July! Fireworks were awesome from the top deck, chairs were super fun as the sun went down and the house had everything we needed to cook and stay for the week!

Very nice home with minor discomfort issues.

The home is beautiful. However the left side of the house did not cool. The house has two different AC systems. Fridge did not keep food cold. So fans needed to be purchased, and food kept in ice chest. Other than that everything was beautiful. The Owner stated she would resolve these issues before the next rental.

Beautiful & Relaxing!!

Rented home for a quick family getaway weekend. This house was exactly as it looked in the pictures and as described. It met all our expectations. Be prepared to walk to 2nd level where house starts. :) Well-kept and tidy. Kitchen, dining and living room area were very spacious. Beautiful glass windows/doors on 2nd level which give a beautiful view of the river. Sunsets were amazing. We brought our own pots/pans and towels, but the house also had everything needed to prepare and eat any meal in the kitchen. Spacious fridge and electric range. Also on 2nd level has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (2 of which are in 2 bedrooms). Third level has 2 bedrooms and a very nice private sectioned bathroom. House has large BBQ grill right outside on the deck with lots of sitting which was very nice. Right outside on deck is a jacuzzi which was very clean and well kept. The property also has two separate decks in the backyard. One with ceiling fans extending into the river with comfortable seating. The other resembles a spacious tree house. Both were very nice. Swing deck on the river edge as well. Living room had many board games and a chess board along with smart TV which kids enjoyed very much. Restrooms were very clean. The house gave a family log cabin vibe and we would definitely recommend this rental. Host initiated welcome call to discuss any concerns and/or questions we may have had which was very assuring and appreciated. She was awesome and replied very quickly to texts or would call for immediate assistance. We will surely look into staying here again, I’m sure Spring/Fall time is even more beautiful.

Family fun

My family and I met at this home to enjoy Houston for the rodeo. We had a great time and the host was great. The house was clean and really the perfect size for our family.

Birthday Family & Friends Celebration

The cabin is definitely a fun getaway for family and friends, you have all the amenities you need to enjoy your stay, plenty of room and space for everyone, the hot tub was great, you have a tree house for the kids, a open deck for the adults to chill, swings and a volleyball net, all you need to do is go to the nearby Walmart and stock up on food and snacks and and you’ll never have to leave the cabin unless you have other plans, there are plenty of games and movies for the children and family time, also you have kitchen utensils, silverware, pots & pans are provided, cleaning products to use before exiting your stay and last but not least you don’t have to worry about anyone disturbing you or vice versa, the host was very nice, answered upon calls at all times for any needs, I would definitely recommend this cabin to a friend and rent it again in the summer time so you can utilize everything, thanks. I enjoyed my birthday celebration here.

Beautiful Property

This property is beautiful. Great view from the house. The dock was amazing, a lot of time was spent out there hanging out. This was a great addition to the already beautiful house. The neighborhood is peaceful. Property owner was very thorough and helpful with anything we needed. I highly recommend this place.

This house is exactly as described AND THEN SOME! 1st let me say, Mariana is an amazing host, very helpful and accommodating :) As for the property, it’s beautiful inside & out, plenty of space for our group of 9 plus lots of on-site activities. The views from the dock made our brunch 10xs better and the hot tub was a great way to relax after a long day/night downtown! Would definitely stay again!

Great lodge - highly recommended

Great lodge with plenty of room. I could see fish jumping in the water all day long. I recommend Jaime for a boat ride on the San Jacinto River. Definitely coming back with family - great breakdown, two rooms upstairs with a total of 8 beds. Three bedrooms downstairs for couples. Great internet service, too (fiber). Nice and quiet, with a lot of options.
