Wonderful!

We had a fantastic time staying at this place. The views are beautiful and we were able to just relax by the pool and enjoy our time together. The host was so nice and checked in with us, responded so quickly and was so sweet! We will definitely be staying here again!

A Wonderful Stay!

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Houston. The host was incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The house itself was stunning—clean, well-stocked, and beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, providing a perfect escape. The quiet surroundings added to the overall tranquility, making it an ideal place to unwind. I highly recommend this wonderful home to anyone visiting Houston!

Great Getaway

Had a great time with family. Relaxing, swimming and fishing. Owner responded immediately when contacted. Would rent again if in the area.

I took my wife for her birthday to enjoy Houston river country area. This home was nice but The photos and dimensions posted online do not match the home, the bugs were horrible. The home was not very cleaned up when we arrived. The grass was foot and a half long. There was trash in the backyard. There was dirt in the pool, On every outdoor seating, there was ticks ants and mosquitoes and Locust or spiders. Not exactly ideal for getaway this price Point. Not to mention, I couldn’t even walk barefoot without feeling dirt and grains on the floor from the The previous visitor that was not cleaned up The home felt very unstable on its foundation, and my wife was scared that it could fall at any moment itself is not level indoors, and structural integrity is questionable. We spent most of our time in Houston outside of the home for these reasons. We will not be returning, although we do appreciate the hospitality

Spring break

We spent my sons spring break from school here which was a great property to relax at but was also writhin easy distant to the space center which was a big reason we chose Texas as well as the children’s museum. When we weren’t out at these attractions the scenery along with the river pool and hot in were very relaxing.

Getaway relaxation

overall the area was beautiful and the scenery in the mornings from the balcony was like from a movie. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone

Girls Weekend!

We very much enjoyed our weekend at this house! We had several things to celebrate and this property was perfect. Room for everyone. We cooked all our meals at the house, easily. Ping Pong, Cornhole, hot tub, pool, firepit, porch swings, floating dock...plenty to occupy your time or just chill and take in the scenery. We will return to this property

Our comms with the owner was awesome she is very attentive and accommodating. The actual house is awesome, great location awesome amenities in a good neighborhood with very cool neighbors! We will be coming back!

Perfect getaway! Family friendly 😊

Beautiful property. Our family enjoyed the peaceful river view and all of the spacious seating areas/swings. The pool, river, jacuzzi and downstairs play area was fun! Our Host was friendly and accommodating as well as easy to communicate with, very responsive. Me and my family will definitely be back!!! It was the perfect weekend getaway, we weren't disappointed!

Beautiful, Peaceful with friendly hosts!

We had 9 ladies in town for a convention, and this location was an easy 20-minute drive from town and offered a peaceful, beautiful location for us to enjoy one another. The beds were comfy, we had plenty of opportunities for fun outdoor entertainment, and we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood in our free time. With 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, (the 3rd bath is really just an outdoor washhouse) it was a bit of a challenge juggling showers and ladies getting ready, but the hosts were incredibly friendly and seemed open to putting some more mirrors throughout the property that would make it easier for this type of gathering! The photos make the property look a bit larger than it really is, but it was just perfect for us! Marianne, our host was extremely attentive and truly delighted in making our stay great! The T.v. worked just great for us, as did all other amenities! The hot tub was such a wonderful treat at the end of the day!

Amazing time

We had a lovely stay at this property, it was everything we had hoped and more! The property is beautiful, peaceful and it was just what we all needed. We swam in the pool, roasted marshmallows in the firepit, fished, used the hot tub. Mariana was the best host and was always available, thanks so much for everything. We will be definitely coming back in the future ❤️

Super Peaceful and Enjoyable

The property is super peaceful and gorgeous! Very quiet with the occasional bird chirping or cooing from the neighbors chickens. Perfect place to wind down. About 30-40 minutes from downtown (averaged $75 for an Uber trip) but other than that not bad at all!!

Wonderful girls get away!

The pictures for this home made it look larger than it was, but it worked wonderfully for our group of 9 girls, other than juggling two bathrooms and trying to get to a conference by 9:00am was challenging :). There is a 3rd bathroom but it is located underneath the house in outdoor space and is more a bathhouse for rinsing off after water play. No mirrors no shower curtain- not ideal for women getting ready for the day. Marianne, the host was incredibly accommodating and readily available to meet our requests and was an absolute delight. She realized remotely that the heat wasn’t working properly before we did and made sure to call for service immediately and remedied the situation without any inconvenience to us! This was a beautiful location, was peaceful and the beds were extremely comfortable. We had no television or internet issues and thoroughly enjoyed our first stay in Houston!

Wi-Fi never worked. Was not able to get anyone out to fix it the whole stay.

The Wi-Fi never worked. Had to use hot spots on our phones the whole stay. Little things around the house that’s just needed a little TLC to make stay better. Shower head in master needs cleaned or replaced. Wall next or shower in master looked moldy the house did hold all for thanksgiving dinner and worked well for us for that day. Views where great. Was nice and quite.

We enjoyed our stay. We had a small pool issue, but it was corrected with swiftness. The kids loved the floating dock and the games under the deck were a hit when it decided to rain on us

Great Family Vacation Home

This was an amazing family vacation home! The amenities were amazing and it wasn’t a far drive to multiple little restaurants. Communication with the owner was great! She was extremely friendly and approachable! We will definitely be renting this vacation home again in the future!

Great River Retreat

This house was very charming and kept our entire family entertained with the pool, dock for fishing and entertaining games in the yard. Wonderful place for a family getaway. Also, a very beautiful view!

Relaxing with nice views

We spent the whole time in the pool. Host was very responsive . Only trouble we had was WiFi wasn’t consistent. Otherwise , a wonderful trip and we would stay here again

Relaxing retreat

Stayed here for the July 4 weekend. Mariana was very helpful With check in and late check out, was constantly in communication responding to our questions during the stay Even though she was out of country. And beautiful location by the side of the river with pool and Jacuzzi, absolutely great experience. A couple of snags I would like to mention is the Wi-Fi is absolutely terrible, There is no cable TV either, if you are hoping to watch TV news or other shows you are in bad luck. Also found a cockroach in the bathtub one day. Fortunately there were bug sprays available in the property that was helpful. I can totally understand staying in a nature preserve with these little bugs here and there. Wasn’t much of a nuisance. I would highly recommend this property.

Summer Fun!

Great location close to many points of interest. The house was very clean and Mariana took care of any concerns we had promptly. The pool was great and the kids had fun fishing.

Great staycation!

We really enjoyed the stay at this home! There were 9 of us—4 adults and 5 kids ages 3-10. The space and amenities were great for multiple families! The kids LOVED the pool with swings and the grown-ups appreciated being able to sit in a couple locations and still see what was going on. The owner was very thorough with expectations & rationale for the house and even asked for feedback to make the next person’s stay better. The views were beautiful and being off of 90/I-10 we had quick access to the city for day trips!

A paradise location hidden in the City if Houston

This will definitely be the house we will continue to stay in every time we come to Houston. The pool is not advertised as it should be, because it is a highlight.
