Location
Walking to the beach is a breeze, about a 15 min walk. Walking to restaurants for the evening is between 2-5 blocks and as little as 5 minute walk. Driving not necessary once you reach our home

Expansive and meticulous garden giving you a lot of room to relax

House has turn of the century flourish along with modern conveniences, chef's kitchen. Charm includes original Miami Dade pine floors, Mexican tiles in the foyer and kitchen, decorative Spanish archways, fire place, a brick mantle. Includes large foyer with a pecky cypress ceiling, a large desk overlooking the front yard and street (not pictured).

The interior of the home was repainted by the owner upon purchase in neutral colors with 2 red accent walls in the living room.

#4 Bedroom is actually its own enclosed 2nd floor walk-up legal Studio. Largest bedroom in house, Queen size pillow top bed, with it's own 32' HD CATV, smaller private bathroom, 2nd floor walkup overlooking the garden.

** Studio Does not have to be rented you will get a discount if you do not use it this must be indicated prior to booking, also Studio minimum during major holidays Christmas to New Years its 7 nights. It has the potential to be rented out for vacation purposes if you decide not to use it. **

Public Municipal Golfing available nearby west of 95 in Delray Beach as well as in Boca Raton for a nominal fee. DelrayDelray Beach Golf Club is a 1923 Donald Ross Design located off of Atlantic Avenue just three miles west of the historic Downtown Delray Beach area. This jewel is a meticulously manicured championship track, and features 6,907 yards and a par-72. Delray Beach Golf Club is the home of many of the most prestigious special events in the area, including the annual Jameson Classic Pro-Am, and the annual Beth Daniel / Meg Mallon Clinic. Delray Beach Golf Club is a full service operation, with a driving range, putting area, lesson programs, and full restaurant, bar/lounge, and banquet facilities.

Great Get-Away in Delray

Snuck away for a quick weekend get away from North Florida. This is a perfect location that allows a family to relax and be close to the Avenue, walk to restaurants and even the beach. Wonderful property and easy instructions as well.

Enjoyed our stay!

We had such an amazing time. My family came for business and wanted a little pleasure while there. A+ all around! We will be back. I guess the only one recommendation I can give is to oil the doorway so they don’t squeak to the master. Thank you for everything!!!

Clean and perfect locatation! Loved it!

We had a great time staying at this location! Soooo close to the beach (walked to see sunrise every day) and close to the main strip Atlantic ave. Our friends with kids stayed in the house and my hubby and I had a little privacy in the joining apartment. Would definitely stay here again. The caretakers on the property were amazing & always so kind and helpful!!!

Great location and amazing backyard

This was a great option instead of staying in a hotel for our conference. We had 6 adults and the space was good, although 2 of us had to stay in bunk beds. It is within walking distance of shops and restaurants and super easy to get to the beach. The interior of the house is beautiful, but our favorite place was the outdoor space!

Perfect family home

My family came to south florida for my graduation, and this home accommodated everyone perfectly! We rented the house and the 1BR suite. The location is walking distance to Atlantic Avenue, close to the beach, yet still nestled in a quiet neighborhood. It is also walking distance to a Walgreens and Publix. The backyard is huge and perfect for family time. There were plenty of towels and beach towels (a plus!) My parents and siblings were all pleased with the space. There are no complaints here!

Perfect home near town

A lovely home with a beautiful yard. We enjoyed walking to DelRay or the beach. Having the knowledgeable caretaker on site was a huge plus.

Great location, cute house!

This house is in a terrific location, you can easily walk to the beach and everything on Atlantic Avenue. Weather was nice so we got to enjoy the large, beautiful yard. The kitchen was updated and great for a family. We rented the whole house, it was wonderful to have the 4 bathrooms with our entire family.

Great location

8 of us met a n Delray Beach. The house worked out great for all of us. We were able to walk to the beach. Having passes available for the beach club was a huge bonus Also easy to walk to Atlantic avenue and all the restaurants. Plenty of parking available at the house.

Great locale and very comfortable.

Great location, walking to downtown, beach, Publix. The mattresses, plenty of bathrooms, grille, very nice backyard, which is somewhat shared. Memory foam mattresses, nice big TV. Price was right. Would definitely stay again.

Great House, Great Host and Caretaker!

If you are looking for a place in Southern Florida for a family reunion, or just a get away with friends this is the place! Only a short walk to the beach (passes included!) and to world class restaurants and shopping on Atlantic Ave. in Delray Beach. The house is clean, comes fully appointed and had plenty of space for our family of 6 adults and one infant. The owner Tim and caretaker Jeff were great and super accommodating when we needed to extend our trip for and extra day. Looking forward to a return trip!

Cozy comfortable house in a perfect location

My extended family gathered in Delray Beach to celebrate my father's 90th birthday and enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It provided the perfect environment for family catching up and forgotten stories, sitting around the large kitchen table or outside under the impressive mango tree. The house was comfortable and impressively stocked with everything we needed, from towels to a large crystal serving bowl . Every room had its own specific atmosphere and the master bedroom was perfectly in line with the Florida beach style. It was also an easy walk to the beach where the sunrises were spectacular. Both the owner and the proprietor were extremely helpful and accessible at all times. For most of my family, this was the first time they had ever stayed in a rental and they loved it! So it may be the start of a new family tradition.

Wonderful Delray Beach House

We just returned from our first trip to Del Ray and if we go back, then we will definitely stay at this property. The house looks exactly like the photos but the house has way more charm in person. The backyard is great, especially if you have two little ones. There is a swing on the big tree in the back which our kids loved. We spent most of our afternoons in the backyard listening to music and enjoying the weather. The house is about a 5 minute walk from the main drag and maybe a twenty minute walk to the beach. If you don't want to walk to Atlantic Avenue for food, then there are a few places that are close to the house which is nice. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would recommend this property to anyone.

Downtown Delray beach House Near Beach Ocean Restaurants Shops

We stayed at this property from July 24 to August 2, 2013. We rented the main house (without the attached studio unit). The 3 bedrooms were very comfortable and accommodated my wife and I, our 3 teenagers and my daughter's friend. The property was very well maintained and very clean. The property is exactly as pictured and described on the VRBO website. The location is great - close to restaurants and shopping. There is a grocery store close by and a Costco about 10 minutes away by car. The beach is about a 15 minute walk and parking at the meters can be an issue, so on beach days, we either walked to the beach or I drove my family there and then walked back to the beach. The pass that comes with the house for the two lounge chairs and an umbrella on the beach came in very handy. The property is within walking distance to several very good restaurants and stores. We had great pizzas at Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza, which is about a two minute walk from the property. The happy hour at The Rack (buck-a-shuck oysters and half priced drinks) was fun and the seafood on the menu was very good. The owner, Timothy, was excellent to deal with and answered my queries promptly. We would definitely stay at this property again and would recommend it to family and friends.

Wonderful home

The home was lovely, clean and with all the amenities of a nice hotel. It is perfectly situated, walking distance to a park, the intercoastal, the beach and all the shops and large variety of restaurants on Atlantic Ave. both the owner and caretaker are helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

Quaint house in a great location

Terrific house with wonderful shady treed backyard. Well equipped and very clean. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops. Can also walk to the beach. Beach pass that comes with the house is a nice touch that gets you use of umbrellas and cabanas on the beach. Hardly used the car at all. Highly recommended.

Well located, perfect for families

We rented this house with our two young children and really enjoyed our stay. The beautiful and really large garden was ideal for relaxing and letting the kids run around and play. The house was clean, very well decorated, and there was enough room for everyone. The house is very well situated, walking distance from the restaurants on Atlantic avenue and not far either from the beach (15-20 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car). We definitely recommend this property !

Perfect Delray Rental House

I rented this house and the upstairs apt. in April 2010. I was looking for a place that could accomodate my family while we were in town to attend my nephew's wedding. The owner was very prompt and professional in all correspondence and his willingness to work with me on dates sealed the deal. We all fell in love with the house. It was perfect and exactly as the owner described. Everything was clean and well maintained. I was looking for a teapot and immedidately the caretaker went and purchased one. We couldn't have received better service. My relatives staying at the Seagate were very jealous of our set up. We rode bikes (bike rental very close by) or walked to town or the beach and thought the location was ideal. We didn't have time to explore many restaurants with all the wedding activities, but we enjoyed Crepes by the Sea and Granger's was unexpectly very good. But frankly people don't go to Delray for the food, they go for the weather and the ocean. I would highly recommend this house.

Everything was fine

We, two german families with small children, were there for ten days in April 2010. We enjoyed our stay there very much. The house is tastefully furnished and well equipped (grill outside, kitchen etc). The children did love playing in the beautiful garden very much. The Housekeeper was very pleasant and engaged for any request. We would any time return to that house once in Del-Ray-Beach!

Great Delray Beach Rental

My Family rented this place over New Years Eve, and it was perfect for what we needed. We could walk to the beach and restaurants and clubs in downtown Delray.The house slept all of us comfortably. Absolutely fabulous!

What a charming property! Vintage home with high ceilings, nooks and crannies and high end updates throughout. Loads of character and highly functional. Two short blocks from the heart of town. Beautiful landscaping. Property was well maintained, lots of amenities for cooking, laundry, comfortable furniture and sleeping arrangements. I would definitely recommend this property.

This wonderful,charming romantic house make a great area to stay (Delray Beach) that much better. The home can easily handle a crowd, or just a perfect spot for 2. With a generous size kitchen to handle cooking or hanging out after a great day at the beach. We had a family gathering of 4 generations and the house was able to accommodate everyone. The bedrooms are nicely furnished and comfortable. The living area has all the comforts of home after a busy day. The location is fabulous-within walking distance of the beach. there is great nightlife and dining all a short walk away. Weather you want to have grill night with friends or quiet time to relax the large backyard with its lush landscaping can take you away to a tropical wonder. The property is well maintained and the owner very easy to work with. Our family would use this house again next year. It is your own piece of paradise for the time you are there.

Beautiful home at a great location. The location was spectacular and the privacy and quiet atmosphere made our week very relaxing. We were able to find shopping and good restaurants within walking ...it was so convenient. The local farmers market, downtown area, made it special to get local produce for the week. At night there were lots of places for listening to live music which was perfect after a day at the beach. The home is cozy and warm with a great yard to relax. This is a perfect home for all ages for it's charm, local culture of the downtown area and of course its proximity to the beaches!

South Florida at its best!

WOW! This wonderful house makes a great area to visit (Delray Beach) that much better. The home can easily handle a crowd or a fun romantic weekend. With a generous size kitchen to handle cooking or hanging out it has all the comforts of home. We had a family gathering of 4 generations and the house was able to accommodate babies to grandmothers. The bedrooms are nicely furnished and comfortable. The living area has all the comforts of home after a busy day. The location is fabulous, within walking distance of the beach, great nightlife, and dining. Weather you want a grill night with family and friends or quiet time to relax the large backyard with its lush tropical landscaping is your own oasis. This property is well maintained and the owner very easy to work with. My family would definitly use again and I have recommend it to friends. Truly your own piece of paradise for a weekend or a month. Definitely worth it. Enjoy!
