Was a nice stay. Cute little cottage. However I didn’t like the door was see thru. Or the bedroom door window wasn’t secured with a blind that you could see thru.

Overall. Not even a good stay. Never again. Communication and complaint with the host was awful as it started on their site. After three notes, they were all wiped out!!! No one called back.Also, it advertises near the beach, walking distance. It is more than 1.5 miles. How can you carry beach stuff ?

Cottage was unsecured for two days, keypad lock was broken. Husband and i both got bitten by a spider in bed. Ants were in bathroom, and in the bed. Cockroach’s some dead some alive. Good space for the money just needs fumigation and sealed around doors. Backyard was perfect for the dogs. Someone came in the gate at night spit out tobacco on the patio and there was also a blunt on the ground.

Thank you for the feedback. I’m very sorry you experienced those problems — that’s not the stay we aim to provide. We repaired the keypad and secured the door right away, scheduled an urgent pest treatment and deep clean, and are having gaps around doors and baseboards sealed. We also inspected and removed any affected bedding/mattresses as needed, cleaned the patio, and are reviewing additional measures to better secure the yard and deter trespassing. Glad the backyard was great for your dogs, and thanks again for letting us know so we can make these fixes.

It had a great enclosed small yard for your pets. It was centrally located to beach, piers and restaurants. The only thing that I wished it had was a washer and dryer. We spent a lot of time at the beach and it was too damp to air dry your beachwear.

Excellent place to stay. Perfect location for all our needs. Only downside wish they had more towels. We stayed two days had to reuse towels.

Great rental house for the 4 of us! Location was perfect, not far from the beach & close to all the town shops/restaurants ect... At night we enjoyed the enclosed yard for the kids to play & we were able to hook up our projector to watch movies at night.

Great stay!

The location was perfect for our extended weekend getaway. Everything we needed was walking distance and the drive to the beach was short. I would recommended this place to others for their Port A getaway!

Cozy Beach Home

We had an amazing time and the house was so cozy and perfect for two. We also had our fur babies with us and they had plenty of room to run around in the back well fenced yard. Great place to stay.

Perfect getaway for 2 plus pet!

Lorna Beach cottage is the perfect size for a couple and their dog! The cottage is well appointed for humans and canines alike...comfortable bed and seating, plenty of towels, dishes, glassware, cookware, and silverware, hot shower and great outdoor space! The yard is the perfect size for some doggie exercise and human relaxation time! Super convenient to the beach, restaurants, and retail. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it!

Loved our stay

Clean, cute, everything in order. Our dogs loved the space and we could not tell that there had been any pets before ours. Management got back to us within an hour of any question we had. We will be back

ok for 2 people and pets

overall a good stay, comfy bed, soft towels, well equipped kitchen, clean space, outdoor furniture could use an upgrade though, a bit rickety-pictures are from a while back I think. but a really great yard for our pets! Cottage is very small and compact but works well for 2 people and pets . Very small parking space but location is perfect!

Thanksgiving

Initially we had trouble getting our entry code. Called three different numbers. We got it by the time we got there. The place was all we needed but a little overpriced. And it was clean and well supplied. The Fabuloso smell was too much. But that quiet neighbor hood and proximity to everything could bring us back!

I always enjoy staying in this area, which is why I return often. However, this particular property was my least favorite experience so far.There were several issues that made the stay uncomfortable. The home did not have dresser drawers, and there were no hot pads available for the oven. We also encountered bugs in the rooms. The bedroom window had been left open, and it was very difficult to close—it took me about a day and a half to figure out how to secure it properly.Cleanliness and preparation could also be improved. There was trash left on one of the barstools, including personal hygiene items, which was unpleasant to arrive to.Privacy was another concern. The living room doors had no blinds, and the shade on the bedroom door was see-through, making it possible for others to see inside.In terms of comfort, the seating was very limited. The couch was extremely uncomfortable, and the only other seating consisted of two backless barstools. The outdoor patio setup was also minimal, with a basic table and no cushions or additional seating, which made it difficult to enjoy the space.Overall, while I love the location, this property did not meet expectations in terms of comfort, cleanliness, and privacy. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay at this house again.

Well, I do not like complaining however, there is NO laundry facilities. I found this out after walking through sticker patches holding all of my laundry. The Shower is broken, this was frustrating and there were dead bugs in the silverware drawer. The TV in the front room did not work. The internet was broken half the week. Other than all of this, it was ok. I will stay somewhere else next time.

Spanish Village

This area is pet friendly which is the reason we stayed here again. However, that comes with some limitations as these need upgrades to ensure your stay is as advertised. Our floor had enough sand to fill the dustpan, lighting in the kitchen was not working so cooking in a cave, toaster not working. 2 calls to get assistance, no remedy for lighting. Instruction book does not apply to this location, information for tv, wifi was actually on the fridge. But it is pet friendly.

You’re only paying for the location

Very disappointed with this property. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s a very busy season, but our unit was dirty. I understand everyone is human and things can’t be spotless, but my husband and I had to go out and get cleaning supplies to make it feel comfortable. Over the few days we decided to stay there (we left on our third day) we found dead roaches, old meat in the oven with maggots in it, cigarette butts by the back door, and bags of dog poop by the front door. When we decided to reach out to management the morning after we left, we were only scolded by not calling them and telling them as soon as we found things (which was not all at once, so we didn’t want to inconvenience our honeymoon by calling management each time). The yard was a major selling point for us and the location is prime. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops for the few days we stayed. We won’t be staying here again.

Tiny home

This is a 1 room 30 x15 cinder block building originally built around 1948. The only interior door goes to the micro bathroom. It has been updated and is decorated nicely but does not function well for a vaca cabin. I give it 3 stars for the location, bed ,& yard ( our dog loved this place). I have a list of thing I didn't like but will only mention the most annoying. There is no usable flat surface to place anything what space there is is used up with extra cabin bedding or decorations. No place for your bags but on the floor & 1 small hallway shelf.The decorations are cute but frankly just in the way and nonfunctional in such a small place. Second there is no comfortable place to set or eat. The kitchen is poorly equipped you will need to pack like you are camping including usable sized pots, microwave safe bowels, salt & pepper,and towels(1 supplyed).Everything we used had to be washed before using, no dishwasher so you have to depend on previous renter to wash everything properly. The covered patio is a pergola you can't use it in the rain & the furniture & grill are in poor condition. Parking is only 15 ft long , you will need to park in the street unless you drive an extremely small car. We witnessed parked golf cart getting hit by someone trying to get through the narrow street. We had a rainy week and had to spend a lot more time here than originally planned. This property quickly became very confining and didn't work well for us on this trip.

Port Aransas

We loved the cottage. The location is great. We walked to the beach in no time. Air conditioning worked great. We brought our dog and the fenced in property was perfect. The only negative was the faucet in the bathroom. There was no water pressure. We would stay again!
