Suite Summary
A spacious and bright garden-level suite within a character home. This suite is part of a larger house where the owners reside. Your suite area is approximately 750 square feet and provides 1 bedroom with a queen-sized bed plus a queen sofa bed in the living area. It features a full bath, laundry, and hardwood and tile floors. You share our sunny garden, which in the summer blooms with flowers, herbs, and grape vines. The living area has a large picture window looking out onto the front garden and offers a gorgeous view of Vancouver's mountains and a peek-a-boo ocean view. Side windows provide more light.

Central Location!
Enjoy easy access by car or transit to nearby sights and activities.

You are just a 10-minute drive (or 20-minute bus ride) to downtown, including Gastown, Chinatown, Yaletown, theatres, museums, and shopping. The campuses of Simon Fraser, BCIT, and Capilano College are all about a 20-minute drive. The Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal is 45-60 minutes south. Trans-Canada Highway #1 is minutes away, taking you to the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal; or drive a further 60-90 minutes north to the resort village of the Whistler/Blackcomb ski hills and beyond. Drive across the nearby Ironworkers Bridge, and in 20 minutes you can be enjoying our local ski resorts of Grouse, Seymour, or Cypress mountains or many hiking and mountain biking trails (check out Capilano Suspension Bridge and Park, Lynn Valley Canyon, Deep Cove, and the Baden Powell Trail or the challenging Grouse Grind).

The Neighbourhood
With a stunning view of the mountains and Burrard Inlet, this is a community of tree-lined streets blessed with many parks and ocean-view walks. Myrtle Suite is convenient to bus and bike routes. This is a vibrant neighbourhood and retains a lovely charm and history in an absolutely spectacular setting!

Lovely stay

We had a lovely time at Myrtle Suite! It was close enough to the city but also far enough away for peace and quiet. Toni was extremely helpful and the space worked perfectly.

Gorgeous summer retreat

We had such a lovely time staying at the Suite. Toni and Bob are great hosts and the location of the suite was great. The weather was perfect, their garden is gorgeous, and the cats were a fun addition!

Wonderful Apartment for Vancouver visit.

Great Apartment, well stocked for cooking with all appliances. Great place for couple or two since there is a pull out couch. Hosts very responsive

Home Away From Home!

Toni and Bob were very accommodating and friendly, the room was cozy and inviting, the pinball machine was a nice go-to for stress relief and the location wasn't half bad; only a few blocks away from Hastings st., easy access to the #1 and close to the harbour. All-in-all a wonderful place to stay!

5 days in Vancouver

Had a great time in Myrtle Suite. Pinball machine was a unique experience for us in a holiday rental. Very well equipped, friendly host and all exactly as described.

Above and Beyond

We loved our stay. The area was very quiet and the accommodations were very comfortable, especially for a smaller group ie 1-3. The hosts went above and beyond and my daughter and I really appreciated all the details. I hope to come back some day :)

Home away from home

This is a lovely place to stay with lots of thoughtful, personal touches. The apartment is very well equipped. Toni and Bob are excellent hosts. We'd happily visit again.

Best house in Vancouver

Fantastic and roomy place to stay for my family of four. Within short driving distance of Granville Island, the Aquarium, and China Town amongst other things. Will definitely be back again. Amazing Hosts!!!

Charming well kept abode

Toni and her family made us feel like distant relatives welcomed into their home with open arms. The space was wonderfully clean, the bed comfortable, and the kitchen well furnished and modern. They were wonderful hosts and we would stay again in a heart beat.

Family

Myrtle suite was just as advertised. The kitchen was very well stocked and the suite was very comfortable. Toni was a wonderful host and the gardens were beautiful. It was a perfect location for getting around Vancouver. We had an amazing stay and would definitely stay here again. Perfect location for visiting family.

A home away from home

Toni and Bob provided a spotless inviting suite with every comfort of home. Their fabulous garden was a daily delight and a plus was the mountain and a peek a boo ocean views. The neighbourhood is safe and friendly with an easy walk to a wide assortment of shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this location.

Another Great Stay!

Had a great 'working vacation' at Toni and Bob's - the suite has everything you could need, is lovely and clean, and the hosts really go above and beyond to accommodate their guests. I look forward to the next time I'll be able to use this as a 'home-base' while in Vancouver. Thanks so much!

Great Location, Great Space, Communicative Hosts

Partner and I stayed at Toni’s place for a week. We had a great time. The hosts had everything we needed: Towels, Fan, Coffee, a dedicated parking spot (I recommend getting a smaller or medium sized car for the spot), and a sweet pin ball machine. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely

The Myrtle Suite is lovely in all respects. Great bed and furnishings define a warm welcoming space. We spent a delightful week there, aided by Toni's excellent restaurant recommendations. It's located in a safe, quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from transit. Many interesting ethnic grocery stores and cafes are also within walking distance.

Very Happy With the Suite

The suite looked brand new. It was very bright and very clean. We were very comfortable there. We went for a couple of really enjoyable walks in the neighbourhood. We would not mind living there!

wonderful place & lovely host

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Toni & Bob. They really are wonderfully open and caring people who have created a wonderful place in their home. The apartment has been designed with great attention to detail and a very appealing style, and is also very well equipped. Originally from Scotland, our family immigrated in the 70s. I've lived in several New Zealand, France and several Canadian locations and in Vancouver from the mid 80s.

We love meeting people from around the world! We will welcome you and be accessible, and are both sociable and sensitive to your privacy. Many of our guests are visiting family in the area, some come for business, and others strictly on holiday!

The suite is designed for our own family and friends, so we put a lot of love and care into the details.

The views from the house and the neighbourhood are stunning. Watching the sun light up the mountains in the morning or going down in the Northwest late on a summer evening never gets old.

A beautiful and quiet area, yet central for downtown and highway access. You can wander down to the end of our street to play tennis or enjoy the park and playground There are many lovely walks around the neighbourhood and to several parks. It is also terrific to be able to get to so many places in a 10 or 20 minute drive!
