25 mins from downtown Vancouver, Deep Cove Village is a beautiful touristy neighbourhood at the foot of Mt Seymour (skiing) with trails, beach and kayaking. Our new cottage with loft bedroom is steps from the Baden Powell Trail, Quarry Rock, Deep Cove Canoe & Kayak Shop, bistros, coffee shops, Panorama Park, Deep Cove Theatre & Arts & Cultural Centre. Our suite is a brand new above ground property in a peaceful and quiet creekside setting w/ water and forest views. The loft bedroom has views of Deep Cove's harbour amongst the trees. The second bedroom/den looks onto the deck and creekside. The living, kitchen and dining area has dual views of the garden and view to the marina with boats and kayaking. You have both a deck and a bluestone garden patio to enjoy in the spring/summer. The bathroom has a large shower with rainshower head and heated floors. You have access to two kayaks as well. In addition to TV and WiFi we can supply board games as well :). Architecturally designed, tastefully furnished.

We loved our stay here. Our hosts were super friendly and helpful.A very peaceful property with lovely views from the balcony.Walking distance to the main street and park area and to get on the trail to Quarry Rock.Would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here.

Cozy getaway

Loved this little place. The loft was so cute and the amenities were great. Clean and comfy, lots of books, tv, fireplace. Would highly recommend for mountain getaway, close to mount Seymour and deep cove.

Cozy Cove Stay

The place was very nice! Comfortable and easy to enjoy. Mostly just a crash pad for us! Be careful on the spiral staircase. The top is a doozy for your head! Also, parking would be very difficult for those with bigger vehicles. Our SUV was a tight squeeze. The trees gave ample shade during our summer stay, plus they had a nice Dyson fan that kept us cool and provided a nice drying capability. I spilled coffee on my shirt, and the on site laundry saved me! Thanks for everything!

The property was as described with everything you would need in a kitchen, perfect size for two adults and 2 small dogs, though could have accommodated more. Location was close to many parks, many with off leash sections, near entry way to Quarry Rock hike, 5 to 10 min walk to Deep Cove with lovely restaurants, nick nack stores and to the water. W rented a couple of sea kayaks for a couple of hours and explores the cove. Facility got warm during the late afternoon as we were there during a heat wave of 29 C and up. But totally bearable with ceiling fan downstairs and a fan in upstairs bedroom. We opened the windows in the evening and the place cooled down quickly after the sun receded. We Sat out in the woods d ck every evening to enjoy the fresh air and quiet.I would not hesitate recommending the accommodations to friends and family. Communications was via the owners daughter who has as very responsive to inquiriea and friendly with great tips.

Hidden Gem

Hidden gem in the middle of the lush West Coast rain forest, away from Vancouver busy streets but still close by. It was really hard for us to leave this place. Whole family enjoyed it.

A wonderful "cabin feel" with comfy beds, and all the essentials - its private with amazing access to beautiful walks and cute shops. Greg our host was friendly and helpful- probably one of the best I've come across in years. Thank you Greg & Kathryn for a wonderful stay ❤️

Fun little place in a beautiful spot!

We felt very lucky that the hosts allowed us to bring our dog. This is such a beautiful spot and a cool little suite. I particularly loved the loft. Be aware there is a steep spiral staircase if you have mobility challenges. Thank you hosts!

It's a great location and has some cool features. Check in was tricky as we couldn't get the door to lock, the owners's daughter was able to come and show us but had to phone the owner to ask how to do it. The instruction notes were not left on the table so it wasn't until the next day we managed to get the wifi code from the owner. The listing says it sleeps 4 and there are two double beds. One was a sofa bed with a poor mattress which sagged in the middle so not suitable for two adults (we are 6ft 2 and 5ft 7 and a healthy weight). The bottom right corner had no support so the whole bed tipped up causing my husband to fall when he tried to stand up from the bed. I tried the upstairs bed, which was ok but again the mattress wasn't great. Many of the windows did not have blinds so if you didn't have an eye mask the light woke you up early. The spiral staircase is very narrow, easy to bang your head and I didn't even try to take a bag upstairs.

Wonderful mountain getaway

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was just like the pictures showed. We did a lot of walking from the property to downtown Deep Cove. Its a steep hill for recommend good walking shoes. I was pleasantly surprised to be at an entrance to the Baden Powell trail. That was an incredible hike. A must do! Deep Cove had a little bit of everything and it was a close drive from the airport and other parts of BC. Thank you to Greg and Kathryn for a great stay!

Wonderful accommodation in Deep Cove

I just wish we could have been here longer. The style and location of the apartment was excellent. We could hear the creek singing softly and that was a great treat. The village of Deep Cove was just a short walk away. The photos of the apartment actually do not do it justice as it is beautifully designed home that gives great light and views of green lushness from every window. The accommodation was immaculate and the hosts were perfect- helpful, friendly, and considerate.

Quaint and relaxing

This suite is located in the beautiful area of Deep Cove was the perfect spot for a quiet relaxing vacation. Located at the base of the mountain and a couple minutes walk to the beach made for an absolutely stress free stay. Hiking and ocean sports all within minutes. The property managers were extremely friendly and very helpful. This quaint suite is very clean and has all the amenities needed. The loft bedroom is lovely. Highly recommend. I would definitely stay here again. ❤️

Quirky little house in the hills!

We did enjoy our first few nights in Vancouver in this quirky little house in Deep Cove. It was very clean and comfortable, well-equipped and especially cosy by the fireside while it poured with rain! The mezzanine bedroom though fun is not for everyone! The spiral staircase is very narrow and impossible to bring a suitcase up, so all unpacking had to be downstairs in the room with the sofabed. It had several windows/skylights with no blinds or curtains, so the room never gets dark. Difficult when you have flown in from abroad and want to go to bed at 8.00! The house was fun for a couple for a few days, but I think would have been difficult for more than two people.

If not for the help of the neighbor who saw us driving up and down the street we would not have been able to locate the property as it is not numbered and the vegetation is very overgrown. Upon entering, we immediately noticed the property was not in the condition shown in the pictures posted on VRBO. It did not appear to have been cleaned, appliances were dirty, as were the floors, the bathroom was mildewy and there were cobwebs everywhere. The porch is in horrible condition, no view of the cove as the brush is totally overgrown. There is a window looking out to the patio that has a massive crack in it, and the exterior lock is held together with duct tape. The bedroom ceiling has a hole in it presumably from a light fixture that was moved. The hardwood flooring was damaged in areas. We did not stay and opted to find a hotel. The owner refunded 50% of what we paid and VRBO refunded the rest.

My husband, daughter and infant granddaughter stayed at the Deep Cove Creekside retreat while we were in town for our daughter’s convocation at Simon Fraser University. The suite was bright, clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. We loved that it was a short walk to the ocean, to deep Cove shops, and the park. The hosts were friendly, responsive and accommodating. I loved the spiral staircase to the cozy loft bedroom. Hugged by trees and gardens, the suite was quiet and we enjoyed sightings of squirrels and birds. We will definitely stay here again and we’ll book extra time so we can explore more of the area!

Excellent location and great little holiday home!

Comfortable and clean, Greg was really welcoming and helpful. Great recommendations provided for places to eat and things to do. The location is awesome - just out of town so quiet and peaceful, but only 10 minutes from the beach front, ice cream shops and the park. We absolutely loved it.

Beautiful Location and Wonderful Hosts

My partner and I had a wonderful stay! The area is lovely and the home is steps away from a hiking trail which was very convenient for us. The hosts were very kind and accommodating as well:)
