The Sparrows Nest is a cozy cabin with amazing views over the Little Tennessee River.
If you are craving an relaxing atmosphere this is where you want to be.
Sipping your coffee on the front porch you will hear the water streaming down the river as the sun rises over the mountain.
Leave the hustle and bustle behind and come relax, rekindle, or just make new memories.We do allow a small dog, there is a pet fee please apply if one will be traveling with you. We do have to pay the cleaning crew for extra pet cleaning fee. We do have a camera in the driveway only and will see if a pet is traveling with you. We know you will enjoy your stay!!!

Relaxing property, pictures in listing were accurate. Had a nice stay especially sitting by the river (watch out for walnuts falling). Hope to return.

Spring Break

We had an amazing stay for Spring Break. While some go to the beach, we head to the mountains! The cabin was in perfect proximity from many different towns and gave you the peace and quite one looks for. The view, I could stay on the porch forever! Truly amazing people to book with!

Wonderful Stay in Franklin

We had a fantastic stay at this property in Franklin. The home was extremely clean and matched the photos and furnishings perfectly—what you see online is exactly what you get in person, which we really appreciated. One of our favorite parts was the peaceful view of the stream right off the front porch—it made for such a relaxing atmosphere, especially in the mornings.The host was extremely quick to respond to our messages, which made everything even smoother. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged, making it a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Great little cabin

This cabin is in a very quiet area, perfect for sitting on the porch reading a book and watching the river. The owners are very nice and the neighbors are super helpful!

Convenient Getaway Cabin

Cabin is ideal for a couples getaway. Convenient to Bryson City, Franklin, and Sylva. Hosts were super accommodating to us as well. We needed a late checkout and they made that happen with ease.

Great little cabin!

Perfect cozy cabin! The heater worked well and there were plenty of warm blankets. Everything you could need in the kitchen was provided. We had a lazy evening during our stay and appreciated being able to watch our shows on the smart tv, use the hot tub, and being close enough to civilization to Door Dash. Would definitely stay here again

Weekend getaway

This cabin was just what we were looking for. Quiet and clean. Perfect for two people. We enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace! Highly recommend!

Peaceful retreat

This cabin was amazing. It has everything you could need. Keurig coffee maker and I forgot creamer and thankfully they had some there! Lost WiFi a couple of times due to multiple rain storms but it didn’t affect us and gave us more time to connect and talk. We will definitely come back again!

Cozy cabin with everything you need

My fiance and I spent a wonderful long weekend at this cabin. It was very comfortable and we made good use of the hot tub and front porch. It was a good, central location for lots of our excursions in the area. The owner and neighbors were very responsive and friendly.

Just what we needed!

If you are looking for a very cute and relaxing cabin, this is the one. The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. I was very impressed with how clean the cabin was and the outside grill was too. The property owners took in all the little details to make this such a pleasant stay. My husband and I needed a place to get away and just be us. We were not bothered by the hustle and bustle of town, but close enough to go in for dinner. There is a wonderful waterfall in the area to go and see that is only about 30 minutes away. If you are looking for a place to relax and reconnect to a calmer life with a loved one, this is it.

Perfect!

We don't know of any other place in the area that is as awesome as this! We are former residents of Franklin and frequent visitors. The owner thought of everything from spices to laundry supplies The view is fabulous, the river easy to access, and the bed comfy Our favorite parts are the front porch, the fire pit, and the hot tub. We are definitely coming back to stay for a week or two. We feel blessed to have discovered this slice of paradise!!

River Playground

A short walk down the driveway & you’re on the river. Great location, but there are neighbors & other rental properties sharing the same driveway. Everything was clean & all necessities were provided. Franklin wasn’t very far away & there’s plenty of outdoor adventures to be had in the area.

Not as Expected.

Not what we were expecting. 1. The Hot Tub was not inviting as the water was cloudy. 2. The view from that side was of the neighbors unkept property with trash strewn about. 3. The cabin was not river front but rather across a 2 lane road and up a shared drive. 4. The bed was horrible and should be replaced immediately. We could feel the springs. 5. The abundance of cameras were excessive especially with the owner just steps away. We loved the area and enjoyed the river, trails and town!
