Horizon East

The place is an excellent spot if you want to beach it most of the days. Easy beach access and secure. Shops, grocery stores, and restaurants are within walking/driving distance. The place was clean and had everything we needed.

The property was nice. The ocean view was great. The problem with this property is limited parking. If you are traveling in more than one car it is very inconvenient. The second car has to be parked at the rental office a little over a mile from the condo.

Great family vacation

I’m not even done with my stay and I am coming here to rate this 5 stars. The condo was immaculate when we arrived. The staff at iTrip has been so helpful with activity suggestions and they are available by phone or text whenever you need something. It’s like being in a hotel but actually staying in a home. The view of the ocean is amazing, the kids loved having the option of going on the beach or staying in the pool. I have already sent the link to this condo to many friends and will be booking a stay in the future again. Thanks again to the condo owner and iTrip Vacations for giving us such a memorable family vacation.

Best views and lots to do!

We loved our stay at this property! You have a gorgeous view of the ocean and see dolphins, pelicans, and lots of other birds each day! The condo was clean and beds were comfortable. We explored the area from Charleston to Mrytle Beach and founds lots of good places to eat and things to do!

Check in and out smooth and efficient. Communication was excellent and the condo was well equipped and comfortable. The location is perfect.

Beautiful condo

Love the condo—clean and comfortable. Love the idea that the bldg. is secure, requiring a key fob to enter. Very nice and clean beachfront deck. Would definitely book again if we decide to visit this area again.

Perfect, Perfect, Perfect!

My family and I loved the condo. When we walked in the door we were it with just a fresh clean smell. The condo was spotless and had everything we needed. The view from the balcony was picture perfect.

Best balcony

Our 2nd stay… everything was great! We were high enough to see a sizable hammerhead shark cruising towards the pier. …..Fascinating!

My 2023 trip

We love Horizon East and have stayed in this build four five years. The condo is clean well equipped and the location is great. The only suggestions are a new mattress in the master and more comfortable living room furniture.

Great location & access to the beach

The condo was as described. It was very comfortable, spacious and clean. Appreciated the washer and dryer to keep our linens clean. The guest room closet door would not open but we did not use it. The location was quite but close to many of the things we like to do. The best part was how easily accessible the beach was. We will be back.

Everything was perfect, very clean, the view of the beach is amazing, secure building and parking. Exactly as described in description! Felt like home away from home. Would refer anyone to rent this property we loved it!! Thanks Mandy for all your help, and Gary we can’t thank you enough for saving us from a tow due to us forgetting to put parking pass on rear view mirror.

Best Beach for Quiet Getaway

If this unit was for sale I would not hesitate to buy it. Great view. Lots of space for two adults. You can fish right off the beach in front of the condo. Great Cafe a 10 Minute walk north along the beach. A terrific pier 10 minute walk south along the beach. The pier sells fishing supplies, beachwear, clothes, children's toys, light menu and full bar with live music until 11pm. This was my fifth holiday to Garden City and we just love it.

Beautiful ocean view

The view was awesome on the private balcony. Plenty of space inside. Very clean. My husband loves to cook and the kitchen had everything he needed. Don't be surprised by the fireworks every night. They ended at a decent time. The maintenance man was awesome. He kept everything so clean. We will stay here again ❤️

Great

Check in was easy. Room was clean and well stocked. I give it five stars. The below comments are just personal preference. Being our first time down it was a little far from Myrtle Beach than I expected, but that's on me. Also, make sure you always have your parking placard displayed. I would use iTrip again but stay closer to Myrtle Beach.

I wish we were told ahead of time about the work being done on the stairway right outside our door. Between the noise, paint smell and cigarette smoke it was a little inconvenient. I understand the work has to be done, but a heads up would have been nice. The furniture could use some updating both inside and on the balcony. We bought a slip cover while we were down there so we could put something over the sofa because it was pretty dirty. The views were fantastic. We enjoyed our stay overall.

Wonderful property!

I don’t have a single bad thing to say! This was our first time in garden city and it is definitely more family friendly and quieter than the heart of myrtle… so a must in my book! The condo was SO nice and actually quite spacious for our family of 4. We couldn’t have asked for a better view! We also enjoyed a walk to the Garden City Pier every evening. This was also our first time renting an iTrip property, so I didn’t know what to expect but Mandy J with iTrip was top notch and extremely helpful and accommodating. A huge bonus to this property was the Explori discounts and with having little kids, we definitely took advantage of that perk several times. Highly recommended and would rent this property or another from iTrip again in a heartbeat if we ever find ourselves back in Garden City Beach.

October 2026 Myrtle beach trip

We have rented this condo for several years now. It’s always clean and well stocked with everything we need. The location is quiet and the beach right out front is perfect. Close to lots of golf courses and restaurants, which are our priorities! Itrips has never let us down.

Great view of the ocean from the 7th floor Relaxing waves made for a great Spring Break Parking was never an issue. MUCH less crowded/hectic than Myrtle Beach
